About

With over three decades on the scene, Bad Religion are iconic stalwarts of the Southern California punk movement. Comprised of equal parts musicianship, rancor and intelligence, the band is known for their onslaught of well-crafted, finely executed songs of social commentary and sardonic wit. Tickets to their live concerts bear the holder witness to relentless, rapid-fire sets that span the breadth of their career, including entertaining diatribes of insight from frontman Greg Graffin. Their 2013 European tour featured over 40 concert dates across 15 countries, treating fans to extended sets of their decade-spanning catalog. Following the release of 2013's True North, which garnered positive reviews and peaked at No. 19 on the Billboard 200, the band kept fans guessing with the release of Christmas Songs, an album of holiday covers done in the band's signature spitfire style.

Since their inception in the early '80s, Bad Religion has remained vital to the identity of punk and hardcore. Their gold-certified 1994 album Stranger Than Fiction is a classic of the genre, gaining the band widespread attention and their first bana fide hit with the prescient "21st Century (Digital Boy)." In 2002 the band released The Process of Belief, garnering another round of praise from critics for hit single "Sorrow." With a whopping 17 studio albums and two live albums, Bad Religion has achieved commercial success without compromising their upstart ideals, and a legion of dedicated fans looks forward to their 2014 tour dates.

  • Bad Religion can still put an the best of shows

by AudibleArtwork on 4/19/10House of Blues Sunset Strip - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

As for the opening band...was a little off, country and punk don't mix too well, but they definitely had talent. Strung Out played a great set, but sound was a little off. Bad Religion played an amazing almost 2 hour set filled with tons of great new and old songs. It is amazing to see guys who have been around for as many years as they have still able to rock and play a total of 32 songs! If you were ever a fan of punk music, this is the best of the best!!!

  • Bad Religion on a Christian Holiday?...PRICELESS

by MauiGW on 4/19/10House of Blues Sunset Strip - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

Well, I saw Bad Religion 4 times in 10 days (twice in Las Vegas then twice here in West Hollywood), so it's kinda hard to distinguish one show from another in my mind precisely, but this particular show was on Easter Sunday. Jay Bentley (bassist) wore a full body bunny suit in celebration of candy day, as he called it. Needless to say they rocked the house as always and the pit was really going off. HOB has one HUGE bouncer who was right in the middle of it all, trying to keep people from getting hurt if they fell. It was a fantastic show. BR kicks ASS.

  • Great Show

Strung Out and Bad Religion together, doesn't get any better. The show rocked.

Even after 30 years, Bad Religion still rocks! They still get the crowd going and everyone had a great time!

  • Priceless

by SKYTZO on 4/17/10House of Blues Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

$46 for 2 tickets $20 for service fees $6 for club fees. Hearing my girl say best night ever and watching her enjoy her fist Bad Religion & Vandlas show just a few feet away from the bands... PRICELESS.

  • Bad religion was the ISHNESS!

  • The Ultimate Punk Band...BAD RELIGION!!!

by NecroNurse on 4/17/10Anaheim House of Blues - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

I had the privilege of enjoying BR twice this year. I saw them @ the Sunset HOB as well, but I must say that the Anaheim HOB show was by far the best ever. BR was at their best and the crowd only fueled that energy. Incredible show. Bad Religion IS the ultimate punk band!

I would call myself a casual fan of bad religion. I only know their hit songs. I still rocked out to every song they played and I think they gave an amazing performance. Two thumbs up here!!

The Vandals were so awesome. I've never seen them before, but they were full of energy and I loved them. Bad Religion was absolutely amazing. 30 years and they are still going strong. Every song sounded great!

  • Bad Religion @ H.O.B. Anaheim

by snb21 on 4/14/10House of Blues Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 4 out of 5

Bad Religion has done what they have been doing for the past 30 years and that is putting on an amazing show. The set list was amazing. They went back to their roots and played the early punk stuff and of course the classics. The opening acts on the other hand are a little of a down fall depending on the night you go.

  • by Evileye on 4/13/10House of Blues Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

This show was great. I have seen Bad Religion in the past and they rocked!!! It was a bit short. I wish they wouldn't of had an opening act...

by CochinaChasers661 on 4/12/10House of Blues Sunset Strip - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

I saw them two years ago @ the house of blues sunset strip and so when there tour was coming in town I had to see them again. The opening acts were really great as well.

  • Excellent Religion

by Tom2tone on 4/12/10House of Blues Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

Wow! They could have scattered the hits around instead of playing one to open and 3 to close. But still a good bad religion show. Acoustics in HOB not the greatest ... the board guys should have turned up the MICs and down the instruments ... but that's a live show for you. Not as cool without the Multimedia that usually is going on behind ... but again ... great live show. Old Man Markley was awesome too! They should get moved up in the lineup. Chuck Ragan ... hmmm. David Cook wannabe. How 'bout some energy buddy? Is this what they call EMO-Rock? ... and every song sounded the same. Seriously ... everybody was clapping because it was over ... not because it was good!

Bad Religion is still kicking ass after 30 years. I'm looking forward to the new album.

  • Bad Religion sounded amazing!

by Infected on 4/12/10House of Blues Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

Bad Religion sounded truly great at the House of Blues in Anaheim last Friday! They really have perfected their music and seemed to have only gotten better with age. They played some new - and unlike most bands that try to make it happen as huge as they did back in the days, sounding old and lacking the style of their earlier days, Bad Religion has managed to maintain the same perfect style as they always have, with the same message showing that their music is something they believe in.

  • Bad Religion kicked ass!!

by ytsirkanatnas on 4/12/10House of Blues Sunset Strip - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

This was the best concert I have ever been to! I loved that the venue was so small and I got to be so close to the stage. The band is freaking awesome and played some really great songs.

Great opening bands, and great main show! I would highly recommend seeing this band.
