About
With over three decades on the scene, Bad Religion are iconic stalwarts of the Southern California punk movement. Comprised of equal parts musicianship, rancor and intelligence, the band is known for their onslaught of well-crafted, finely executed songs of social commentary and sardonic wit. Tickets to their live concerts bear the holder witness to relentless, rapid-fire sets that span the breadth of their career, including entertaining diatribes of insight from frontman Greg Graffin. Their 2013 European tour featured over 40 concert dates across 15 countries, treating fans to extended sets of their decade-spanning catalog. Following the release of 2013's True North, which garnered positive reviews and peaked at No. 19 on the Billboard 200, the band kept fans guessing with the release of Christmas Songs, an album of holiday covers done in the band's signature spitfire style.
Since their inception in the early '80s, Bad Religion has remained vital to the identity of punk and hardcore. Their gold-certified 1994 album Stranger Than Fiction is a classic of the genre, gaining the band widespread attention and their first bana fide hit with the prescient "21st Century (Digital Boy)." In 2002 the band released The Process of Belief, garnering another round of praise from critics for hit single "Sorrow." With a whopping 17 studio albums and two live albums, Bad Religion has achieved commercial success without compromising their upstart ideals, and a legion of dedicated fans looks forward to their 2014 tour dates.

Great show. The leaky stage was kind of weird. Love Bad Religion!
Epic, a must see
by Funkiermonk on 10/18/10Northern Lights - Clifton ParkRating: 5 out of 5The venue is alright, but its now the best in the area with the loss of rev hall, but the lineup was unforgettable, if they are coming near you, go see it, don't think twice
30 years later and still kicking ass
by Zaphrael on 10/18/10Northern Lights - Clifton ParkRating: 5 out of 5First off, Bouncing Souls puts on an amazing show. If you ever get a chance to see them do it. I've never seen them before and they rocked. Really started the night off riight before Bad Religion took the stage. Despite slight problems with the venue (mic problems, a/c leak on the stage) Bad Religion blew the roof off the place. Even though BR is 30 years old they did not show any signs of slowing, they are the masters of Punk and they made sure we all knew it. If this show is coming to your town, you MUST get tickets cause it will be a night you will not soon forget!!
BR still good 30 years later
by KyleGFINR on 10/18/10Northern Lights - Clifton ParkRating: 4 out of 53rd time seeing Bad Religion, they are still very good live and dont disappoint. They always put on a good show and play old, new and favorite songs from their past. Would of like to see a better supporting band than Bouncing Sould, the lead singer looked like he just didnt want to be there. 1st band was pretty good, forgot their name but they got the job done. As for the venue, good layout but show was suppose to start at 7, didnt get let in till 730 and show started at 8
Great show. Great band. Best Songwriting yet!
by Bandmonster on 10/18/10Northern Lights - Clifton ParkRating: 5 out of 5I've seen BR a bunch of times... even on Thanksgiving Day in Toronto on the STF tour. They are as good now as then, and I might even say better. I think Dissent is one of the best albums they've ever released... thankfully they played a lot off of it.

I thought the whole even was incredible - I've never actually been to a concert before, and I couldn't think of a better first one for me. Off With Their Heads and Bouncing Souls were great openers, but Bad Religion stole the show - they did an amazing job and being right in front of the stage was awesome! The song list was great too, definitely some of my favorites by them.
Greg and Greg still have it...
by Anonymous on 10/17/10Métropolis - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5Great show. First up was Off With Their Heads which was good. Next was Bouncing Souls which have a way of exciting the audience like crazy. Their mass of energy continues with Bad Religion. Their show was amazing.
Sea of Flesh
by GAT61 on 10/14/10House of Blues Cleveland - ClevelandRating: 5 out of 5I was a classic rock guy who got bored with the same FM songs. I began listening to punk, thanks to my son. He and his wife joined my wife and I for this show, and it was amazing. We were unsure about the mosh and the crowd, and at first it seemed a bit too wild and rough. But in time, I found myself, at 49, down in the pit. It wasn't scary or mean...in fact, i felt a sense of oneness with the other nameless friends who smashed their sweaty bodies against mine. It was peaceful, physical, and memorable. I love you all, who will remain nameless. All three bands were top shelf! The sound was good, but sound men have a hard time getting the guitar loud enough. Why can't these guys hear? Oh yeah, they have blown their ears out. Other than that, the entire expereince was wonderful. Bad Religion is important.
Simply The Best
by AllHailBR on 10/14/10Clutch Cargo's - PontiacRating: 5 out of 5Doesn't get much better - 30 years for a reason!!! Clutch Cargo's is the perfect environment for this band, Bouncing Souls and Off With Their Heads sounded excellent as well. I'd follow them around the country if I wasn't chained to real life.... Thanks gentlemen, you made my year!
Bad Religion at Clutch Cargo's
by MajorCyco on 10/10/10Clutch Cargo's - PontiacRating: 5 out of 5Another outstanding show for the guys in Bad Religion. Seems now days they are having much more fun with the crowd. I think they enjoyed the show as much as the fans. Bouncing Souls were good too, but the big surprise was Off with Their Heads. Most opening acts aren't worth catching... but these guys were. Even got one of their CDs... and now will probably get more. That was a very pleasant surprise.
Best punk rock show ever!
by Anonymous on 10/10/10Clutch Cargo's - PontiacRating: 5 out of 5The older these guys get the better they play. You cannot find this kind of energy in any other band. It was the first show of the tour, right here in Pontiac, MI. I love going to small venues with insane mosh pits.
The old timers still have it
by MotorCityMauler on 10/10/10Clutch Cargo's - PontiacRating: 4 out of 5It has been a number of years since I have seen the Bouncing Souls and /or Bad Religion. The Bouncing Souls sounded fine, but definately did not to seem to have the energy. More specifically front man Greg did not have the same energy. He just stood there looking a bit like he had checked out. Maybe since they were not the "headliner" he didn't feel as inspired. Bad Religion on the other had was incredible. The old timers still rock! They sounded great, the energy was there, and the vibe of the audience was great too. I would have prefered a little more of the pre Recipe for Hate song selections, being an old timer myself, but they played a fair mix of songs from each decade they have been around. If you haven't seen them, or haven't seen them in a while, go! Who knows how many years they have left and they are well worth the price of admission!
Bad Religion rocked
by Miller29 on 10/9/10Clutch Cargo's - PontiacRating: 5 out of 5Bad religion came out and rocked as usual. The venue has great acoustics, no echo and plenty of good standing room with ample stage viewing.
30 Years going strong.
by Adriayna on 10/9/10Clutch Cargo's - PontiacRating: 5 out of 5Seeing Bad Religion in an old church play "American Jesus" was seriously one of the highlights of my year. Solid performance and excellent band.
- by PattiFan on 4/20/10House of Blues Sunset Strip - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5
These old men can still rock after 30 years! Amazing that they lasted for 2 hours of playing non-stop.
- by Anonymous on 4/19/10House of Blues Sunset Strip - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5
show was awesome! saw them earlier at the HOB in Anaheim, but this performance blew that one out of the water.
Bad Religion totally Rocked it!!
by MrsHN on 4/19/10House of Blues Sunset Strip - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5This was my first time seeing Bad Religion and Strung Out. It completely met and exceeded my expectations. Both bands sounded amazing live and I was so happy that Bad Religion played all of my favorite songs. There isnt ONE thing that I would have changed!! An amazing venue!!
