About
Backstreet Boys on Tour
The pitch-perfect harmonies. The matching outfits and dance moves. The dreamy personas. When they set foot in an arena, the Backstreet Boys are absolutely in their element, belting out a massive catalog of original hits to an outsized audience that screams back every word. Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson have been at it for decades, but even after setting the blueprint for acts like One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer, their 1993-formed group remains the best-selling boy band of all time. And unlike so many others (including their former direct competition, *NSYNC), Backstreet Boys never quit. They kept making records — adapting their increasingly adult sound to an ever-shifting pop landscape — and kept upping the performance stakes too, taking their NKOTBSB supergroup (with New Kids on the Block) on the road in 2011, and holding down a two-year residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas starting in 2017. Their DNA World Tour celebrates their rich history of swooning ballads and get-up-and-dance jams (and yet another No. 1 album in 2019's DNA).
Backstreet Boys in Concert
Despite becoming more or less a five-headed pop machine, the Backstreet Boys' origins were pretty organic. Cousins Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell came up singing in church choirs and at festivals in Lexington, Kentucky, while the other three bonded over their shared love for Prince and old-school R&B after meeting at various acting auditions around Orlando. They came together under the guidance of teen-pop guru Lou Pearlman and emerged in the mid-1990s as radio-smashing global sensations — the quintessential boy band yearning over heartfelt hits like "I Want It That Way" and powering parties with upbeat bops like "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)." Their first two U.S. albums — 1997's Backstreet Boys and 1999's Millennium — also marked the arrival of Swedish superproducer Max Martin, who helped forge a shiny new sound that combined bubblegum pop, classic R&B, hip-hop swing and dance production. The Backstreet Boys' astounding longevity owes as much to maintaining this baseline formula as it does to their ability to pull modern sounds and grown-man themes into the gleaming pop universe they created way back when.

Rating: 5 out of 5by Anonymous on 6/14/10Trump Taj Mahal - Atlantic City AMAZING SHOW. BEST CONCERT I'VE EVER BEEN TO. EVERYTHING ABOUT THE SHOW WAS AMAZING.
Rating: 5 out of 5 17 Years + and still AMAZING.
by BSB23BABE on 6/14/10Trump Taj Mahal - Atlantic CityThe only complaint I have about the show is that it was too short! Along with performing new tracks from their This is Us album, BSB sang some classic favorites like I Want It That Way, I'll Never Break Your Heart, All I Have to Give, etc. However, some songs were shortened and stringed together with another song. I guess by now, they have so many tracks, they can't really sing all of them in its full length given the time frame. Their stage performance and vocal talents are always beautiful. They sing live and dance! Imagine that! I'm just happy that the Backstreet Boys are still active in recording and performing in concerts. Can't wait for the next one!

Rating: 4 out of 5 Sweet Nostalgia
by Anonymous on 6/13/10Trump Taj Mahal - Atlantic CityGreat show!! Played pretty much all of the old favorites, with a few of the new ones sprinkled in. The opening act, Mindless Behavior, was adorable. Danced from 8 - 8:30. Then BSB came on at 9 and played a solid hour and 30-45 minutes. Good time, pretty good sized venue - not too big.

by sweetie71398 on 6/13/10Taj Mahal - Atlantic CityThis concert was awesome!!! The guys have gone back to their roots and incorporated a lot of dancing and choregraphy into their performance. The show was full of energy and had a great mix of both new songs and old hits. Their vocals proved they got what it takes to stand the test of time.
Rating: 5 out of 5by Anonymous on 6/13/10Trump Taj Mahal - Atlantic City AMAZING SHOW! Only complaint is that they didn't play for 2 hours. But it was definitely one of the best nights of my life.

by Allie6886 on 6/13/10Trump Taj Mahal - Atlantic CityThis show was full of energy and a lot of fun. I am so happy I went with my friends. The bsb still got it: they dance the whole time and still sound great. Always love hearing the old stuff and their new stuff is pretty good too.

by Brvoallstr on 6/13/10Trump Taj Mahal - Atlantic CityThe show was great. It had a good mix of old and new songs and definately brought me back to my high school years. The only bad part was that it had to end. I could listen to them live for days.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Backstreet IS BACK!!!!
by Comfy on 6/13/10Trump Taj Mahal - Atlantic CityThe show was AMAZING from start to finish. They have so much energy and their vocals have never been better. They played non stop for over 2 hours. I wish I could see all the shows on the tour. If you can go GOOOO!!!!
Rating: 5 out of 5 BsB such great performers
by butterflies12334 on 6/13/10Trump Taj Mahal - Atlantic CityI must say, The Backstreet Boys never fail to entertain. The show was amazing!!! They sounded wonderful, extremely entertaining and there was not one person who wasn't singing or dancing to the music. The only complain I have is that I was looking forward to hearing more of their current songs from their THIS IS US album. I think the album is awesome and I was really looking forward to hearing my favorites from it, but I'm not discrediting what a great show the put on. I still enjoyed myself and I can't wait for their next tour.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Backstreet Boys still got it going on!!!
by KaeLarge on 6/13/10Trump Taj Mahal - Atlantic CityHad a great time at the concert! The seats were good, wish I could have gotten closer ones but oh well, I could still see them perfectly. This was my 5th or 6th BSB concert and they just keep getting better! Hopefully they continue to make great music and keep going on tour so I can see them again!

by tibsy2000 on 6/13/10Trump Taj Mahal - Atlantic CityGreat show! I have never been disappointed by the Backstreet Boys performances. I wish they were on for a longer time and I wish they sang If I Knew Then, but overall it was amazing. The backups dancers were disgraceful and should NOT have been there!
Rating: 5 out of 5by Anonymous on 6/13/10Trump Taj Mahal - Atlantic City Backstreet's back! THe backstreet boys are amazing and they still got it!

Rating: 5 out of 5 No ordinary boy band
by luvmrkk on 6/13/10Trump Taj Mahal - Atlantic CitySay what you will about the Backstreet Boys being a silly boy band. They have long since proved their relevance to music. They not only sing while performing rigorous dance routines instead of lip synching, but they also place clever clips in their show to feature each member individually. They prove time and again their love for their fans and our importance to their success. Their show is simply amazing and unforgettable. Through personal issues, loss of members and just the test of time, these guys have no doubt passed whatever test they have been faced with. They are excellent in every sense of the word!
