  • Back to the Future

by Cesar on 5/24/25DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - DurhamRating: 3 out of 5

Play was good, it would have been much better if they stayed true to the story. Changing major story lines to try to be PC doesn’t do the story justice.

  • Phenomenal

by KymW on 5/13/25Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts - GreensboroRating: 5 out of 5

The special effects are amazing! The talent great. George McFly stole the show. He was delightfully quirky! A must see.

  • Enjoyable and took me back in time

by CinR98 on 5/13/25Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts - GreensboroRating: 5 out of 5

From the setting, storyline and music, to the fun ending! Kept us engaged in the light, explosions, etc. I would go see again!!

  • Wonderful

What a great experience. For the BTTF fans, this is a must see!

  • Poor Adaptation

by Gdey on 5/10/25Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts - GreensboroRating: 1 out of 5

Not the kind of a show that lends itself to a musical. Noisy and distracting dance routines. Poor character casting. Special effects were good. Overall not a worthwhile show, we left early.

  • It is amazing

by Kaitlyn Fonte on 5/9/25Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts - GreensboroRating: 5 out of 5

I think it very good musical performance that I ever been to.

  • The tale of two half’s

by Ironcity on 5/9/25Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts - GreensboroRating: 3 out of 5

The first half of the show was slow and received light applause. It reminded me of a football team coming out flat that couldn’t move the ball. The second half saved the show. The special effects were excellent and the musical numbers improved. Lost opportunity was not giving a larger singing role to the actor that played the future mayor. He had an awesome voice and the audience loved him.

  • Wonderful for whole family!

by Rebplay on 4/19/25Robinson Center - Little RockRating: 5 out of 5

This was a fun and well done performance! You could tell the actors were really into it and gave a lot of energy. It was so enjoyable! Ages child to senior all loved it! High praise and big recommendations to go see. The audience gave an immediate standing ovation at the end. Excellently done! And kudos to the set, electronics and music!

  • Disappointing

by Gee on 4/10/25Rating: 3 out of 5

I've never been to a musical where the show was lip synced. I would not have gone and seen this show had I known that even if it were free. I spent good money and had friends come from 6 hours away to be disappointed.

  • Spectacular!

This beloved movie is an incredible traveling show! Absolutely amazed at how the scenes were created for the stage - loved it! Any BTTF fan needs to make plans to see this show!

Are you a Back to the Future fan? If so, you definitely do not want to miss this show! The cast and special effects are great. It definitely won't be my last time seeing it. Superfans will want to see it again and again.

  • You Have To See This One

by Awesome! on 4/8/25Music Hall Kansas City - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

Saw Fisher Lane Stewart at 2:00 pm on April 5 as a bunch of charactes, and as Marty McFly at the 8:00 pm show the same night. What a reception he received. And that was just the start. It ended at the Stage Door with all his friends and relatives. A great time was had by all.

  • Great show and effects

by Mike on 4/5/25Music Hall Kansas City - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

We really enjoyed the energy of the show and the special effects were amazing. This is one of the best Broadway shows we've seen.

  • Amazing show!

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this show but I was blown away. The effects were amazing and I loved it. I would definitely recommend going to see it!

  • Amazing!!

by CCEC on 4/3/25Music Hall At Fair Park - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Yes, details were changed from the movie, but the spirit of 1985 was there. The props and effects were amazing (family sitting behind me were discussing how it was all possible during intermission). Overall, a fun, must-see experience for BTTF fans.

  • Excellent effects, very entertaining. Never a dull moment 😉

by Papa on 4/2/25Music Hall At Fair Park - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

I really like the focus placed on friendship between Doc and Marty. Excellent vocals. Doc's Solo brought tears to my eyes!

  • Not enough music from the movie.

by Ken on 4/2/25Music Hall At Fair Park - DallasRating: 3 out of 5

The venue (Dallas Fair Park) was horrible. They kept the theater freezing cold. I usually don’t get cold. It was bad and my wife couldn’t take and we had to leave at the break.

  • Meh

by John on 4/2/25Music Hall At Fair Park - DallasRating: 2 out of 5

More acting less singing. I understand it’s a “musical” but it was basically them singing 98% of the time. We left at intermission

  • Amazing Show & Effects

by Scott C on 4/2/25Music Hall At Fair Park - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

The show was great in Dallas, and the special effects made the musical come to life. Well played on the actors and crew!

  • Location, location, location!

by Tina on 4/1/25Music Hall At Fair Park - DallasRating: 4 out of 5

The show was spectacular; the acting was fantastic, the sets were gorgeous and the music was terrific. The big problem was the venue. The Music Hall is outdated and unappealing. There was another event happening (a Gala of some sort) and the venue had inadequate restrooms for two large events, truly not enough in good locations for just the show. At the end of the show I thought I was at a sporting event, not a musical as the guests got up to leave before the actors had even come out for a bow. I have never been to a Broadway show in which the audience would just get up and down going in and out of the show throughout the performance with so little respect for other guests and the actors. I would love to see this fantastic performance again in a venue where their are not so many disruptions, because it was a great show.
