The show was amazing! The sets were phenomenal and the storyline follows the first movie. A little bit of bright flashing lights at times, but overall, it's a must see!
Entertaining and a relaxing night out for two old fogies
The musical was outstanding! From the music to the dancing to the fabulous stage effects, it was one of the best shows I have ever seen. The DeLorean was the highlight of the show. I would recommend it to families and friends. Thank you for making our Granddaughters visit so memorable.
This was such a fun show and had me smiling the whole time! The special effects were awesome and the energy in the auditorium was great! I highly recommend it!!
Easy to get there, park, and enter the Auditorium. Fantastic production and performance. The story line was well-adapted and the production numbers were excellent. Very talented performers who genuinely enjoyed putting on the Show.
Fantastic, one of the best productions we have ever seen. This includes shows in NY city , Toronto, etc. The sets & acting were wonderful! Highly recommending to all our friends!
After seeing the film trilogy more than decades ago, now it’s the time to see the talk about musical play. Before seeing it, I was very optimistic that this will be good or exceed my expectations, and after seeing it, it was really good and indeed exceed my expectation!!! Love all the casting, it’s very funny from start to finish, the props and effects were top notch, especially the famous time machine car, the main star of all!!! It’s now my all time favorite musical comedy musical play and can’t wait to relieve the magic soon again….
I loved it! It was a 10/10! Planning to see it again at a later date!
Have seen this show 23 times in different locations and always love it! Will see it again.
This was painful to watch. I have been a BTTF since I saw the first film in 1985. This musical was overly campy and poorly acted. Yes it has its good points. There are parts of the show that are fun and some decent musical numbers (“It Works” has not left my head) and the stuff they do with the car is very impressive but those few good points don’t make up for everything else. Plus the show design relies too much on digital protection and less practical design. For the car I understand but other parts not so much. To say I was disappointed is an understatement.
As a BTTF superfan, I was so impressed with the creativity of the set design, talent, and trueness to the iconic movie. The casting was superb! Just wait until you see the DeLorean fly.
Paying for center orchestra seats was expensive, especially when sitting next to 2 kids that were talking and moving nonstop. Their booster seats kept flying off the seats and it truly ruined the whole experience.
Go to see this show as many times as possible to catch all of the details!
The musical was overall good. The first half seemed a little slow. The second half was a lot better. I was expecting lots of really great effects and what not, but there was very little. Compared to shows like Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, or even the better cruise ship shows on RC, this was not quite as exciting, but it was still good. Just not for the price of admission. I'd pay 1.4 of the price at most for this one.
The show was OK. Pretty cheesy second half of the musical was better than the first half. But nothing to write Home about. Sound quality on solos were subpar. Some of the wording was hard to understand as well as volume could’ve been a bit louder for people in the back. Group numbers add better sound quality. Basically, you were able to hear and understand the groups more than the solos. Many of the musicals that I have seen would gladly sit through another round. This one on the other hand, I struggled with the thoughts of leaving early. My review has nothing to do with the casting. The casting was great. They did a great job telling the story. I just kept comparing this to the movie and it didn’t measure up.
Spontaneous decision to but tickets last minutes for a Saturday evening show. Was glad I did. What a fun night! The performers were wonderful and very convincing in their various roles. The music (live in pit) and lyrics were great. The special effects were awesome and the DeLorean looked like it was actually speeding at 88 mph. DPAC is a superb venue and the place was packed with a fair number in costume. I think everyone had a great time and left happy.
The special effects in Back To The Future was so good! You find yourself amazed, and asking how did they do that?! It was really great fun.
This was a very fun musical. I am deducting a star because the actor that played Doc Brown played the role so goofily that it was really hard to understand his lines. If he would tone it down a bit to allow for better enunciation, it would be helpful.
My family really enjoyed the Back to the Future The Musical at the DPAC. We had watched the Back to the Future movies many times in the past and seeing the musical was very enjoyable. Even though the play was a little different from the movies, the changes were minor and the main story was true to the movie plot. The actors did a wonderful job and played their roles to a tee!
