The night was rainy and cool but that was no match for the smooth sounds we heard from AFTER 7 & BABYFACE. They put on a show and sang all the hits even though he and his band were getting wet from the monsoon like weather. I would love to see them again in better weather.
This was one of the best shows I have ever been to. This shows that I grew up with real music and not some sex induced filler like today's music. Sadly I can't see any of today's artists have shows like this 20 years from now. Didn't realize how lucky I was
I really enjoyed this concert. I would pay to see him again.
One of the best concerts ever! BABY FACE sang songs he wrote for other artists and WOWED the audience to a new level. AFTER 7 performed with style, extraordinary talent and passion. They engaged the audience and we were jammin' all night long. BABY FACE is super talented and down to earth. Truly amazing.
Love the show and would recommend everyone to see Babyface in he's in your area.
Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds is a true star!! The DJ that played for the after party sounded like a beginner. He sucked!!
I MUST ADMIT THAT I WAS TOTALLY CAUGHT OFF GAURD BY THE BABAFACE VARIETY SHOW. HE MADE ME LAUGH OUT LOUD WITH HIS SETTLE THEATRICAL HUMOR. HIS WALK DOWN MEMORY LANE MADE YOU FEEL AS IF YOU WERE A PART OF THE SHOW. THE TRIBUTE TO EL DEBARGE DISPLAYED THAT SOMEWHERE BENEATH THE FAME AND FORTUNE OF THE BUSINESS SIDE, IS GRATITUDE FOR LOVE SONG WRITERS BEFORE HIM. YES, HE HAS TRULY BECOME AN AMAZING SHOWMAN THAT IS ON TOP OF HIS GAME. I WAS ASTONISHED TO KNOW THE SONGS THAT HE HAS WRITTEN AND THE COLLABORATIONS WITH OTHER ARTISTS. MR. EDMONDS, I MUST CONFESS THAT I SANG ALONG WITH MOST OF YOUR SONGS. I'LL BE HONEST WITH YOU, EVERYONE OF US LEFT WANTING MORE BECAUSE WE WERE UNFORGETABLY ENTERTAINED... THANKS
Babyface was amazing! His voice is crystal clear and he performed an incredible range of music thanks to the fact that he has written most of the hits from my past! The stories he told were a little long but they had great meaning if you listened. House of Blues was a wonderful venue and I would go back to the venue & see Babyface again!
If you want to see an artist that performs very well and then takes the time for You to get to know him...Baby Face is who you should go see. His concert was great!! He's very entertaining and down to earth. Loved the concert and would go see him perform again.
Babyface jammed at a lively House of Blues in Orlando on 5-7-2010. His show was an experience that I will not soon forget. He covered many of his own tracks, but also performed so many beloved hits that he either directly produced or was inspired by from acts like: Debarge, Luther, James Taylor, Eric Clapton, Michael Jackson, Bobby Brown, Boys II Men, After 7, Milestone and many others. Just a classic show that easily ranks in my person Top 5 concerts/shows of all-time best. If you missed it, you have no idea how amazing this night was and how the audience was eagerly jamming along with Babyface!!
The concert was definitely an A+ all the way! He sang not only his songs but also sang songs he's written and produced for other artists. By the end my sister and I were actually tired from all the dancing and singing we did! He performed for 3 solid hours and kept us entertained in between with stories about his childhood, his musical heroes, how he got his start in music, and what it was like to work with artists that he grew up admiring. I thoroughly enjoyed the show....more than I actually thought I would when I bought the ticket! I thought I would "like" the show, but I didn't know he would have me dancing for 3 straight hours! It was great! It was great! It was great! What else can I say? Except....IT WAS GREAT! Excellent job Kenneth Edmonds :)
Attended Babyface concert in Orlando on May 7 with 12 family members and friends from all over the USA. Everyone and I mean everyone said that this was a awesome concert, one of the best concerts of the year. Love the personal stories, the fantasic band and of course the amazing Mr. Face himself singing songs he either produced or wrote over the last few decades. The House of Blues venue was packed to the ceiling with women screeming their heads off, very excitng gathering of BF fans.
Babyface was amazing! I loved every minute of it! He was funny and entertaining! I want to see him again! He sounds just like the records. His voice is incredible.
He is a true entertainer - cool to watch and great story teller
