Detroit rapper Babyface Ray has announced a 17-date tour in support of his latest album, The Kid That Did. Kicking off on December 2nd in San Francisco, the tour will hit Los Angeles, Houston, New York, Chicago, a performance at Rolling Loud Miami, and many more before culminating in a special hometown show at Detroit's Fillmore on February 7th--Ray's birthday and his biggest headline show to date. Artists pre-sale begins this Wednesday October 2nd at 10am local with public onsale starting this Friday October 4th at 10am local. This announcement follows the whirlwind success of his third album, The Kid That Did, which features a motivational appearance from mega-agent Rich Paul, along with collaborations from G-Herbo, Veeze, Hunxho, Bossman Dlow, DJ ESCO, King Hendricks, Doughboy Clay, Peezy, Moxie Knox, Rexx Life Raj, and Samuel Shabazz.
Since its release, the album has garnered support from Rolling Stone, Billboard, BET, Complex, and more. It debuted at #1 on the Apple Music Hip-Hop charts and secured the #2 spot across all genres, just behind Sabrina Carpenter. The Kid That Did also landed spots on Billboard's Top 200, Independent, R&B/Hip-Hop, and Top Rap Albums charts. Adding to the album's momentum, Ray went viral a week after its release when a clip of his locker room performance for Coach Prime's University of Colorado football team blew up. The team was celebrating a last-minute touchdown that pushed the game into overtime--a game they went on to win, with students storming the field in celebration.
The Kid That Did offers a deep dive into Ray's rise from the streets of Detroit to rap stardom, fueled by a relentless grind. Now, ten years since his first mixtape and two years after his debut album, Ray's journey continues to inspire. The album, which includes the singles "Wavy Navy University" ft. Veeze, "Rubberband Man," and "Count Money" ft. Boosman Dlow, serves as a blueprint for his path to success.

Entry 5/5 showed my Vip let me straight in. Restroom 4/5 Security/Services 5/5 they showed me to the bathroom got checked in quick Venue 5/5 extremely beautiful on the inside of the Fillmore theater. Lighting grand nice lil bar area . It was Grand experience Babyface Ray 10/10 great entertainment. Very family oriented performance 🎭
He kept performers on stage playing hits. He was right on time and he was a great performer. We appreciated the additional guests that he brought out and how long he preformed. I’ll be at future concerts. My only complaint is the facility didn’t enforce seating well and if you paid for seats, someone was most likely there who didn’t pay and you had to physically go ask the employees to clear your seat.
I had the time of my life! S/o to everyone who made this happen! Babyface is my favorite, Ill never miss an opportunity to see him!
It was a good show can’t really complain he was a good performer from what I could see and that was my first time seeing him
His performance was everything I expected well spoken and engaging with the crowd .. I felt like we’re riding around together and he was rapping …
Would write a review but cant bc I have a lot of good to say
My experience was extremely great! The staff made sure there was complete order and their attitude was pleasant. The venue was a great size and for an out-of-towner I was impressed and Babyface Ray should be as well.
we’ll be seeing him again , real lit soon as he hit the stage .
Veeze & Babyface Ray made sure that Detroit got the best show of the tour. Their music is everything for the state of Michigan. The crowd was into the show the entire time. The bar section for the fast lane payers was a great experience. I will be attending a show in the facility again!
