Detroit rapper Babyface Ray has announced a 17-date tour in support of his latest album, The Kid That Did. Kicking off on December 2nd in San Francisco, the tour will hit Los Angeles, Houston, New York, Chicago, a performance at Rolling Loud Miami, and many more before culminating in a special hometown show at Detroit's Fillmore on February 7th--Ray's birthday and his biggest headline show to date. Artists pre-sale begins this Wednesday October 2nd at 10am local with public onsale starting this Friday October 4th at 10am local. This announcement follows the whirlwind success of his third album, The Kid That Did, which features a motivational appearance from mega-agent Rich Paul, along with collaborations from G-Herbo, Veeze, Hunxho, Bossman Dlow, DJ ESCO, King Hendricks, Doughboy Clay, Peezy, Moxie Knox, Rexx Life Raj, and Samuel Shabazz.
Since its release, the album has garnered support from Rolling Stone, Billboard, BET, Complex, and more. It debuted at #1 on the Apple Music Hip-Hop charts and secured the #2 spot across all genres, just behind Sabrina Carpenter. The Kid That Did also landed spots on Billboard's Top 200, Independent, R&B/Hip-Hop, and Top Rap Albums charts. Adding to the album's momentum, Ray went viral a week after its release when a clip of his locker room performance for Coach Prime's University of Colorado football team blew up. The team was celebrating a last-minute touchdown that pushed the game into overtime--a game they went on to win, with students storming the field in celebration.
The Kid That Did offers a deep dive into Ray's rise from the streets of Detroit to rap stardom, fueled by a relentless grind. Now, ten years since his first mixtape and two years after his debut album, Ray's journey continues to inspire. The album, which includes the singles "Wavy Navy University" ft. Veeze, "Rubberband Man," and "Count Money" ft. Boosman Dlow, serves as a blueprint for his path to success.

Great experience, always love babyface ray! He put on a great show, venue was cool and not too packed and hot. Loved it
Overall this was a great show the venue this year they had food🤤🤤 French fries to be exact ...... Only thing was the parking pass I bought on ticketmaster was for parking around the corner 🤨 Didn't use it ended up paying for VIP parking right in front of the building. Once again overall great place to come and see show always great vibe
Love his music. But performance wise he is bad. No crowd interaction. Just plugged his merch table. Also he cut the event short.
Got to see one of the hottest rappers in the game up close. All my songs except “Forever”
Babyface really brought the hood out with this show. If you not from Detroit he brings the real experience!! Felt like I was back home.
Place got smoked out and the show went on . All around good vibes
The security for the outside were sooooo nice with nice jokes and a small compliments. The inside was so clean and prepared for the event. The sound from the speakers was very clear and they had the bessst drinks! $5 for a tequila sunrise! Overall, great nice Babyface Ray did so good, can wait to see him do his thing again soon
