B2K In Concert
For a whirlwind two years in the early 2000s, boy band B2K held the world in their sensitive but rugged palms, creating bouncy, hip-hop–enhanced R&B with P. Diddy ("Bump, Bump, Bump") and even starring in a blockbuster dance drama (You Got Served) that showcased their lithe bodies and voices equally. Though the group split up in 2004, late 2018 brought the welcome news that Omarion, Fizz, Boog, and Raz-B are back together and ready to inspire screams and swoons around the U.S. with The Millennium Tour, a bill stacked with names who also call up the flash and flirtation of the aughts: Pretty Ricky, Chingy, Mario, Lloyd, and more.
Boys of the New Millennium, as they're officially known, began as four ambitious kids mostly from southern Los Angeles (Inglewood, Compton, Watts) brought together by industry veteran Chris Stokes, the guru behind predecessors Immature/IMx. But after B2K dropped a self-titled debut in 2002 — filled with slinky bump-n-grinders like "Gots Ta Be" and jiggy dance grooves like "Uh Huh" — it was clear they had a seductive magic all their own. Their recurring spots on the legendary, aptly named Scream tours were thrilling combinations of synchronized dance, perfect harmonies, and intimate interactions with an audience that never stopped squealing.
As their faces plastered the walls of more and more teens' bedrooms around the world, B2K worked tirelessly to please, releasing a splashy holiday collection called Santa Hooked Me Up (don't sleep on the swagged-up "Sexy Boy Christmas") and a second album, Pandemonium!, both before the dawn of 2003. The new songs expertly paired percussive production evoking Timbaland and the Neptunes with grade A songwriting by the likes of R. Kelly ("Girlfriend"). All of the boys' lyrical boasting and heartbreaking was backed up by their starring roles in and guest-studded soundtrack for 2004 flick You Got Served, which remains a cult favorite.
While B2K called it quits that same year, their talent, success, and youth ensured more to come. Lead man Omarion became a Grammy-nominated master of bedroom-oriented R&B and also joined rapper Fizz on VH1's Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood. Boog and Raz-B have also pursued careers across music and film/TV, occasionally crossing paths with their bandmates, but few outside endeavors have stirred up as much fervor as the B2K reunion announcement.
Omarion only
the performance was great and the tickets were deff worth the money
The concert was a major throwback. It was so much fun!!!
B2K could of perform longer, the show was more of Omarion and Mario show.
It was really good! Everybody had a good energy and could still sing. My favorite performance was Mario. When it comes to the venue it’s great because for the most part any seat was a good seat but the sound isn’t the best in there. One thing i would say is that the in between time the acts was a little way too long. By the time B2K came on and started performing it was 11:20pm and everybody was getting tired lol. I barely had enough energy to scream and be engaged. Definitely cut that time down, it was cool how the host engaged with the audience but it was just too much after a while. But overall it was a good concert definitely.
I had a ball and that’s all that matters !!! I didn’t wanna hear any new songs from the artist that came lol .. it was more of a throwback concert for me !!
It was absolutely amazing to see b2k back together after so many years the show was great from start to finish!!!
I had a good time it was a great show they did good.
I really enjoyed myself! It’s been YEARS since I have been to a concert and I’m so happy that I was able to go. The concert started on time! Which was a plus. Everyone one that performed sounded and looked amazing!
Amazing show they defly need to do another concert here in pittsburgh for sure. HHHHHHAAAAAAANNNNNN.N
I loved the show. It was the first show of the tour! Everyone had lots of energy.Everyone performed songs that were popular back then which is a great thing. Some technical difficulties during the ying yang twins set. The host/comedian made things even more entertaining btwn sets. The show was longer than expected but not because anyone was late. My only complaint is concerning the venue, i had floor seats and once people stood on top of the chairs, i could not see. Security and the workers did not do much about this.
Had the best time with my girls loved the concert/comedy show seen so many ppl with amazing talent sing there hearts out good way to kick off 2019
Seats were great and concert performance was awsome
I grew up loving B2K and all the other performers and I was not disappointed at all! It exceeded my expectations. It was fun the entire show. One of the best concerts I’ve ever attended.
I really enjoyed myself at the Pittsburgh concert. Of course because it was the first one they had some kinks to get out. It was like a flashback to elementary and middle school listening to everybody. Prettt Ricky should definitely do their own tour because they had the best set!
It was amazing! Everything about it was entertaining! I may just have to go to the one in Cleveland, OH.
I seen B2K in Pittsburgh, PA on March 8th. It was my first time seeing them live and they was amazing. The energy was A1 and the stage set up was fire. I would definitely recommend buying a ticket to see them if they are coming to your city.
Love the show!!!! It was so good seeing them again! Vip after party was good but they should have the performers on the floor more that’s the whole point.
I really enjoyed the show! The only thing I can suggest is with so many acts, please start at least an hour earlier. They did an awesome job with moving the show along but at 11:50pm I left with many others and B2K was only on the second or third song.
The show was freaking amazing I had so much fun felt like a teenager all over again!!! Hope they come back in the future.
The concert was great and very lively. The only concern was that B2k should have had more songs and a longer set. But this concert is worth the money.
