About

B2K In Concert

For a whirlwind two years in the early 2000s, boy band B2K held the world in their sensitive but rugged palms, creating bouncy, hip-hop–enhanced R&B with P. Diddy ("Bump, Bump, Bump") and even starring in a blockbuster dance drama (You Got Served) that showcased their lithe bodies and voices equally. Though the group split up in 2004, late 2018 brought the welcome news that Omarion, Fizz, Boog, and Raz-B are back together and ready to inspire screams and swoons around the U.S. with The Millennium Tour, a bill stacked with names who also call up the flash and flirtation of the aughts: Pretty Ricky, Chingy, Mario, Lloyd, and more.

Boys of the New Millennium, as they're officially known, began as four ambitious kids mostly from southern Los Angeles (Inglewood, Compton, Watts) brought together by industry veteran Chris Stokes, the guru behind predecessors Immature/IMx. But after B2K dropped a self-titled debut in 2002 — filled with slinky bump-n-grinders like "Gots Ta Be" and jiggy dance grooves like "Uh Huh" — it was clear they had a seductive magic all their own. Their recurring spots on the legendary, aptly named Scream tours were thrilling combinations of synchronized dance, perfect harmonies, and intimate interactions with an audience that never stopped squealing.

As their faces plastered the walls of more and more teens' bedrooms around the world, B2K worked tirelessly to please, releasing a splashy holiday collection called Santa Hooked Me Up (don't sleep on the swagged-up "Sexy Boy Christmas") and a second album, Pandemonium!, both before the dawn of 2003. The new songs expertly paired percussive production evoking Timbaland and the Neptunes with grade A songwriting by the likes of R. Kelly ("Girlfriend"). All of the boys' lyrical boasting and heartbreaking was backed up by their starring roles in and guest-studded soundtrack for 2004 flick You Got Served, which remains a cult favorite.

While B2K called it quits that same year, their talent, success, and youth ensured more to come. Lead man Omarion became a Grammy-nominated master of bedroom-oriented R&B and also joined rapper Fizz on VH1's Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood. Boog and Raz-B have also pursued careers across music and film/TV, occasionally crossing paths with their bandmates, but few outside endeavors have stirred up as much fervor as the B2K reunion announcement.

I met b2k and pretty Ricky. I felt like I was in heaven. It really took me back and I’m glad I went. The last time I saw them in concert was in 2003 and that’s the year they broke up. I never in a million years thought that this would happen. It all came full circle!!

  • Like high school

by Nursedavis on 3/26/19Nashville Municipal Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I absolutely loved it. It reminded me of being in high school and going to every concert that they had. Even the ones that went solo. I had a ball. Floor seats had to be bought like in high school I know my mother got tired of me back then lol. But every one did great. I give it a 100 yesssssss

  • 4.5 hour show and I didn't sit down once!!

BAYBAYYYY! Lemme tell you something! That show was LIT LIT LIT! 🔥🔥🔥 From beginning to end, everyone did such a good job! The energy was so amazing. Even the comedian during intermission kept as entertained; overall the show was soooooooooo nostalgic and very well put together✨✨ Leave those heels at home and bring comfortable (but fly 😎) shoes!

  • Everything was great except

by Honesti on 3/26/19Nashville Municipal Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 4 out of 5

I paid for a B2k meet & greet. We get our lanyard and are then supposed to be taken to a secret location for the meet & greet. As we're walking the person directing us must've gotten lost because we had to double back, so i went from the front of the line to the back. We finally get to the location and we're standing in line waiting for well over 30 mins. By this time the concert starts and the group is left standing missing out on what was paid for. B2k finally came out and it was good. I'm just upset because we missed almost 3 artists performances just standing in line. The organization for that part could've been wayyyyyy better.

  • Lit!!

by Brit on 3/26/19Nashville Municipal Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I had so much fun at the concert. Everybody was good! The only problem I have was because of the Venue. Didn't seem like floors were clean from where I was sitting. Slipper floor and someone vomited behind me under my chair. And it needs to be clear on were to sit in each section, had no guidance.

  • Fun times

    by B. B. on 3/26/19Nashville Municipal Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 4 out of 5

I had a great time!!! But it took us for ever to get inside only one entrance so we missed two acts, besides that no complaints.

    by DaniES86 on 3/24/19Bankers Life Fieldhouse - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

I loved this concert!!!!!! It was LONG overdue!!!!!! I love me some B2K and I'm glad they were able to come together for this tour. I definitely could've done without the Ying Yang Twins. I'm not a big fan of them. I loved all of the other acts. Brought back a lot of memories from all of the artists. I wish Lloyd could've had more time. But I would definitely love to see this show again.
