B2K In Concert
For a whirlwind two years in the early 2000s, boy band B2K held the world in their sensitive but rugged palms, creating bouncy, hip-hop–enhanced R&B with P. Diddy ("Bump, Bump, Bump") and even starring in a blockbuster dance drama (You Got Served) that showcased their lithe bodies and voices equally. Though the group split up in 2004, late 2018 brought the welcome news that Omarion, Fizz, Boog, and Raz-B are back together and ready to inspire screams and swoons around the U.S. with The Millennium Tour, a bill stacked with names who also call up the flash and flirtation of the aughts: Pretty Ricky, Chingy, Mario, Lloyd, and more.
Boys of the New Millennium, as they're officially known, began as four ambitious kids mostly from southern Los Angeles (Inglewood, Compton, Watts) brought together by industry veteran Chris Stokes, the guru behind predecessors Immature/IMx. But after B2K dropped a self-titled debut in 2002 — filled with slinky bump-n-grinders like "Gots Ta Be" and jiggy dance grooves like "Uh Huh" — it was clear they had a seductive magic all their own. Their recurring spots on the legendary, aptly named Scream tours were thrilling combinations of synchronized dance, perfect harmonies, and intimate interactions with an audience that never stopped squealing.
As their faces plastered the walls of more and more teens' bedrooms around the world, B2K worked tirelessly to please, releasing a splashy holiday collection called Santa Hooked Me Up (don't sleep on the swagged-up "Sexy Boy Christmas") and a second album, Pandemonium!, both before the dawn of 2003. The new songs expertly paired percussive production evoking Timbaland and the Neptunes with grade A songwriting by the likes of R. Kelly ("Girlfriend"). All of the boys' lyrical boasting and heartbreaking was backed up by their starring roles in and guest-studded soundtrack for 2004 flick You Got Served, which remains a cult favorite.
While B2K called it quits that same year, their talent, success, and youth ensured more to come. Lead man Omarion became a Grammy-nominated master of bedroom-oriented R&B and also joined rapper Fizz on VH1's Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood. Boog and Raz-B have also pursued careers across music and film/TV, occasionally crossing paths with their bandmates, but few outside endeavors have stirred up as much fervor as the B2K reunion announcement.
Omarion only
Loooveeee the concert I felt like I was 13 all over again!!
I enjoyed the Millennium Tour. B2K performed well together despite being away from the industry for 15 years. The group did an outstanding job. I definitely would go see them on tour again if they came back to St.Louis.
The show started off a little rocky. I had a Meet & Greet pass. The instructions were to meet B2K before the show started. I went to will call to retrieve my lanyard and was given the run around to 2 other spots. I was told that I did not need a lanyard even though my email instructed otherwise. I was taken to the meet and greet area by a FedEx Forum employee. It was unorganized (no line). I couldn’t get my photo with the artists until I received a ticket and lanyard. I spoke with the lady working the event and she assisted me. Everyone that was in the meet and greet area had floor seats and we missed two of the advertised acts. We were pretty upset about that because we paid a pretty amount of money to enjoy the entire show. Once I got to my seat, everything got better! I had front row seats (I could literally catch the sweat off of the artists)! The tour itself was AMAZING!!! The front row seat offered such a great view. Security and the workers made sure no one could run past their seats to the front row. Maybe if the backstage parts of the show were more organized, everyone could enjoy the show with no delay! Overall, I really enjoyed myself and I want to see the show again in another city!
Meet and greet was a rush thing. Slow down and take minute to say something to yours fans.
It was absolutely amazing!!!! All the Acts were good .. But of coirse Pretty Rickey and B2K were my favorites!!
It was great to see them again , seem like they worked hard on their vocals and especially production when they came out ... they were my first concert so to see them again grown , ahhh the feels . I would def pay to see them again.
It was a great concert. Started off with Ying Yang twins. Then bobby Valentino, Lloyd, Chingy who came out with Huey and JR, Mario and then B2K. We sat in section 113 Row L. It was the first row of that section and it was great views. The railing was shaky though. Overall great concert.
The show could have been better! Idk maybe they was tired!
I love the experience! I felt like teenager all over again. My seats were great. The performances were awesome.
It was so awesome from beginning to end!!!!I was on my feet the entire night and didn’t have a voice the next day!
I really enjoyed the show. I liked that during the intermission they were interacting with the audience and picking people to show their skills or lack of skills. Improvements: i felt the people in the back further away from the stage didn't get noticed or interact with. The MC could've walked around more. But overall, i had fun.
The concert was really good I had a great time. I love the Chingy brought other St. Louis artists.
I love love LOVE B2K!! The show was excellent. My seats were the best (front row center stage). If I could do the whole experience over again I definitely would!!!!!
This show was amazing. Everyone who hit the stage brought back memories of the good old high school days. I absolutely loved Mario and B2K. The only complaint is the host, comedian, was a little harsh with the comments about the guests. You don't have to be mean to be funny.... and it was not funny. Other than that, I would love to see the show again.
Loved every second!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a great time! B2K, Mario, Pretty Ricky, Chingy, Lloyd, Bobby Valentino & Ying Yang Twins gave a great show! I enjoyed kicking it with my sister & cousins at the concert! Great show!
Lord if you wanna take me now you can! I got my whole entire life at this here concert! Ying Yang got the crowd 🔥! Lloyd was beautiful! (Inside and out) Chingy is the hometown boy so you know he had the crowd going crazy! Mario is gorgeous! He looked amazing and his moves and sound were swoon worthy! Pretty Ricky! Them boys are crazy and they put on an exciting unforgettable show! (Spectacular I see you baby) Last but not least B2k! I felt like a preteen all over again! Omarion you are a King! Boog is fine and cool af! I’m going again! Love you guys! 🥰
The concert was great love seeing everyone since getting older. Best days of my life and I love hearing all songs I jammed to when I was much longer. Pretty Ricky and B2K nice reunion and they still got it. Had me on 🔥 😊🤣
I enjoyed the concert very much. The entire lineup was great and I felt like a teenager again.
