B2K In Concert
For a whirlwind two years in the early 2000s, boy band B2K held the world in their sensitive but rugged palms, creating bouncy, hip-hop–enhanced R&B with P. Diddy ("Bump, Bump, Bump") and even starring in a blockbuster dance drama (You Got Served) that showcased their lithe bodies and voices equally. Though the group split up in 2004, late 2018 brought the welcome news that Omarion, Fizz, Boog, and Raz-B are back together and ready to inspire screams and swoons around the U.S. with The Millennium Tour, a bill stacked with names who also call up the flash and flirtation of the aughts: Pretty Ricky, Chingy, Mario, Lloyd, and more.
Boys of the New Millennium, as they're officially known, began as four ambitious kids mostly from southern Los Angeles (Inglewood, Compton, Watts) brought together by industry veteran Chris Stokes, the guru behind predecessors Immature/IMx. But after B2K dropped a self-titled debut in 2002 — filled with slinky bump-n-grinders like "Gots Ta Be" and jiggy dance grooves like "Uh Huh" — it was clear they had a seductive magic all their own. Their recurring spots on the legendary, aptly named Scream tours were thrilling combinations of synchronized dance, perfect harmonies, and intimate interactions with an audience that never stopped squealing.
As their faces plastered the walls of more and more teens' bedrooms around the world, B2K worked tirelessly to please, releasing a splashy holiday collection called Santa Hooked Me Up (don't sleep on the swagged-up "Sexy Boy Christmas") and a second album, Pandemonium!, both before the dawn of 2003. The new songs expertly paired percussive production evoking Timbaland and the Neptunes with grade A songwriting by the likes of R. Kelly ("Girlfriend"). All of the boys' lyrical boasting and heartbreaking was backed up by their starring roles in and guest-studded soundtrack for 2004 flick You Got Served, which remains a cult favorite.
While B2K called it quits that same year, their talent, success, and youth ensured more to come. Lead man Omarion became a Grammy-nominated master of bedroom-oriented R&B and also joined rapper Fizz on VH1's Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood. Boog and Raz-B have also pursued careers across music and film/TV, occasionally crossing paths with their bandmates, but few outside endeavors have stirred up as much fervor as the B2K reunion announcement.
Omarion only
I love everything about it. The singers and rappers was great and I loved there stage presence! I can’t wait for the next show!!!
Overall the concert was amazing! All of the acts where good, The Ying Yang twins really took it to another level. My only complaints would be the amount of time in-between acts as well as some sound difficulties.
I loved every minute of it . Brought back memories of songs I forgot I knew. However I do feel as though if the concert main focused was on B2K their part of the concert should’ve been longer. Didn’t really seem like we got Enough of them. Keep the outline and show exactly how it is but make B2K part longer. Other then that everything else was great. Great engery from everyone. And Shout Out to Jboog for doing it fornlik saint !
This show was hands down AMAZING!! The guys came together and did NOT skip a beat. They were all smiles, they interacted with the crowd. I did not sense any drama. Raz b hit all of his moves he was happy and smiling, Jboog did it for lil saint, Fizz rapped like he still had his pony tail, Omarion always shows out and I loved his solo act! Overall I give it a 10. Raleigh loves y’all 😍
The concert was bomb from beginning to end. Thank you guys for your time and turning up in my city. ❤💯
The show was good. I enjoyed each performance especially Pretty Ricky. They were my favorite.
I thoroughly enjoyed this concert. From Chingy opening up the show to Ying Yang Twins in the middle to B2K ending the show. I stood up the whole time. The host was funny too. This concert brought back so many good memories. If you’re debating on going STOP and purchase your ticket. You won’t regret it
it was fantastic but as far as the meet and greet it could of been organized a little better were everyone could of gotten a picture with the group instead of everybody gathered all together trying to take pictures i paid a extra 100 dollars for a vip upgrade
Best concert ever love b2k getting in the building was good to very quick
It was a great show. Good sounds, good lights, fast check-in and it was entertaining from beginning to end. The only suggestion I would have is to use better side screens to display the artists. I attended a concert last year where the screens were a lot bigger and the quality of the image was better. This time the screens were smaller and fuzzy. I would just say if you can keep the screens consistent that would be great. Overall, PNC never disappoints, I like coming.
Everyone did a great job, PNC was packed! Pretty Ricky we’re the most fun to watch and I love the idea of the VIP passes and parties to hang out with the artists afterwards.
The concert was great...well what I could see of it. The Nashville Municipal Auditorium staff failed to honor the seating arrangements. I paid for two 3rd row seats and was unable to see due to security allowing 100 or more people from the back and balcony to stand in front of those of us that paid for floor seating despite having multiple complaints. I've waited 15 years for this moment and the venue ruined it for us. I will never see another concert at this venue. I am rating The Millennium Tour 5 stars and the venue -1 star.
I never set down the whole time I was there!!!! It was a great show. B2K did an awesome job and I would love to see them again. Pretty Ricky went above and beyond also. The whole line up was fabulous. We brought seats that were higher up because we really didn’t think the show was going to be good, but man they proved us so WRONG!!!
The show was a little boring, we left in the middle of mario’s Set.. because we were getting put to sleep! didn’t even see b2k
I loved every moment of the Millennium Tour from beginning to end ! Definelty brung me back to my child hood days ! Hopefully they have another tour with more people from the 90s !
The show was everything I thought it was going to be and more!!! I absolutely loved it!! I had such a great time and wish I could’ve did it all over again!!
The overall concert was good to me. It was well worth the money and the drive. I had a good time and enjoyed the night.
The concert was great! I am a fan of all the performers. However, the Meet and Greet package was misleading and very unorganized. I had to wait 1 hr to see B2K before the show and only was able to spend at least 1 minute with them and missed 1 performer of the show. I had a great time though!
concert was excellent! pretty ricky was the best especially spectacular! chingy was great, he is so handsome. bobby valentino was awesome, ii didn’t even know he was on the line up, a beautiful man to look at. lloyd omg what a beautiful voice and face. ying yang twinz were lit! mario could have been left out of the show. b2k were great, omarion has a wonderful face, lil fizz is so fine, j boog is so handsome and can dance well. i want to go again!
It was wonderful. B2k put on a great performance just like they did when i went to their very first concert when I was 13. Same energy and everything. What more can I say except that this was the best concert ever. Every performer that was there was amazing. No complaints.
