B2K In Concert
For a whirlwind two years in the early 2000s, boy band B2K held the world in their sensitive but rugged palms, creating bouncy, hip-hop–enhanced R&B with P. Diddy ("Bump, Bump, Bump") and even starring in a blockbuster dance drama (You Got Served) that showcased their lithe bodies and voices equally. Though the group split up in 2004, late 2018 brought the welcome news that Omarion, Fizz, Boog, and Raz-B are back together and ready to inspire screams and swoons around the U.S. with The Millennium Tour, a bill stacked with names who also call up the flash and flirtation of the aughts: Pretty Ricky, Chingy, Mario, Lloyd, and more.
Boys of the New Millennium, as they're officially known, began as four ambitious kids mostly from southern Los Angeles (Inglewood, Compton, Watts) brought together by industry veteran Chris Stokes, the guru behind predecessors Immature/IMx. But after B2K dropped a self-titled debut in 2002 — filled with slinky bump-n-grinders like "Gots Ta Be" and jiggy dance grooves like "Uh Huh" — it was clear they had a seductive magic all their own. Their recurring spots on the legendary, aptly named Scream tours were thrilling combinations of synchronized dance, perfect harmonies, and intimate interactions with an audience that never stopped squealing.
As their faces plastered the walls of more and more teens' bedrooms around the world, B2K worked tirelessly to please, releasing a splashy holiday collection called Santa Hooked Me Up (don't sleep on the swagged-up "Sexy Boy Christmas") and a second album, Pandemonium!, both before the dawn of 2003. The new songs expertly paired percussive production evoking Timbaland and the Neptunes with grade A songwriting by the likes of R. Kelly ("Girlfriend"). All of the boys' lyrical boasting and heartbreaking was backed up by their starring roles in and guest-studded soundtrack for 2004 flick You Got Served, which remains a cult favorite.
While B2K called it quits that same year, their talent, success, and youth ensured more to come. Lead man Omarion became a Grammy-nominated master of bedroom-oriented R&B and also joined rapper Fizz on VH1's Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood. Boog and Raz-B have also pursued careers across music and film/TV, occasionally crossing paths with their bandmates, but few outside endeavors have stirred up as much fervor as the B2K reunion announcement.
Omarion only
OVERALL THE CONCERT WAS EXTRAVEGENT AND FILLED WITH GREAT MUSIC, VIBES, AND GREAT PEOPLE. I ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE OF THE CONCERT, DIDNT EVER SIT DOWN.
This show started right on time and there was very little wait between artists contrary to most other concerts. It ran smoothly and was a long, full show but did not drag on. I had a great time. Everyone is still so talented and sang and danced so well. I’m so glad that I went!
The openers were the best so get there early ! B2k was ok
The show was good. I thought that B2K's performance couldve been a little longer considering they were the main reason everyone wanted to go to their show. Every other group did really good. Pretty Ricky got the crowd hype in their home town and so did Ying Yang Twins. Was Mario lip syncing? Lloyd, Chingy, and Bobby Valentino were cool. Like i said it was a good show and B2K did great considering they havent been a group in a long time. I just wanted them to perform a little longer. Oh and of course it would've been great if Raz B was there too. The arena was hot as usual lol and the prices of those drinks!!! After i pay all that money plus all those taxes for tickets do you think I reallly want to pay 20 dollars for a 8 ounce flimpsy clear plastic cup of watered down liquor? I think not
The show was fabulous! The Ying Yang twins and Pretty Rickey were the best part of the show! I love how they surprised us and brought out Trick Daddy and Trina! The lines also moved quickly and were efficient. Thank you!
This concert was awesome. Although the headliner was B2K, to me it felt like a concert of all headliners. I was on my feet the entire time. Whoever put this line up together did an amazing job and really captured the early 2000s and I will never forget this concert and how it made me feel!!!
They all did they’re thing. Having the other artists really made the concert better. Mario, Omarion, Lloyd, Bobby V.
The show was Amazing, I cried. I’d go see them again & again. I felt like a 14 year old kid again! A M A Z I N G
The concert itself was put together in the best possible way but seeing B2K in concert and back together again brought literal tears to my eyes. It's surpassed anything that I made up in my mind. Incredible!
Looooved it..from beginning to end!!! This was true nostalgia.
It was amazing. Now im feeled with nostalgia From Chingy Lloyd B2K Trick Daddy/Trina Pretty Ricky Bobby V Mario...just everyone.
It Was Amazing ! They should really do it again i get like they should have had more time but it was still a wonderful experience
I had the time of my LIFE!!! Till now I have PRETTY RICKY’s bluestar album on REPEAT!! LITERALLY THE TIME OF MY LIFE !! I’m so happy I attended. I CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT CONCERT!!! PRETTY RICKY NEEDS TO REWIND BACK TO MIAMI FOR ANOTHER PERFORMANCE!!!! LOVED IT
It was the best experience ever, me and my sister had an amazing time. They made it worth the money.
These men can still put on a show, worth the 15 year wait. The VIP experience was great... Took a pic with my favorite member of the group #TeamLilFizz
My friends and i agree that the show was Phenomenal.. better than i imagined it could ever be. We’re hope they finish this tour, rejuvenate, and do it all over again. It was that good
The Millennium Tour was so much fun. I’m so glad I went. The Ying Yang Twins had us dancing while Mario has us in love.
Best concert I've attended so far every single artist and group definitely came to perform! Soooo glad B2K came together as a group for this occasion. The VIP experience/ after-party was so worth it, they signed shirts and actually made time for selfies and group photos! I didn't know what to expect at first, but when it was over I was more than pleased! Very handsome and pleasant men, J BOOG was still as sexy as he was when they first started in his teenage years 😍😍😍
This ticket wasn't for me, it was actually for my daughter who is 31 and a true die hard fan. The first time she saw them in concert was the day before the group broke up around 15 years ago. I gave her the ticket for Mother's Day because she deserved it. She is a very hard worker and she's always trying her best to make others life much easier than her own. She said this will go down in history as the best night of her life outside of giving birth to her 2 beautiful daughters.!!!! Thank you B2K for being such amazing performers.
I felt like a child again! They brought throwback after throwback and left the audience wanting more.
