About

B2K In Concert

For a whirlwind two years in the early 2000s, boy band B2K held the world in their sensitive but rugged palms, creating bouncy, hip-hop–enhanced R&B with P. Diddy ("Bump, Bump, Bump") and even starring in a blockbuster dance drama (You Got Served) that showcased their lithe bodies and voices equally. Though the group split up in 2004, late 2018 brought the welcome news that Omarion, Fizz, Boog, and Raz-B are back together and ready to inspire screams and swoons around the U.S. with The Millennium Tour, a bill stacked with names who also call up the flash and flirtation of the aughts: Pretty Ricky, Chingy, Mario, Lloyd, and more.

Boys of the New Millennium, as they're officially known, began as four ambitious kids mostly from southern Los Angeles (Inglewood, Compton, Watts) brought together by industry veteran Chris Stokes, the guru behind predecessors Immature/IMx. But after B2K dropped a self-titled debut in 2002 — filled with slinky bump-n-grinders like "Gots Ta Be" and jiggy dance grooves like "Uh Huh" — it was clear they had a seductive magic all their own. Their recurring spots on the legendary, aptly named Scream tours were thrilling combinations of synchronized dance, perfect harmonies, and intimate interactions with an audience that never stopped squealing.

As their faces plastered the walls of more and more teens' bedrooms around the world, B2K worked tirelessly to please, releasing a splashy holiday collection called Santa Hooked Me Up (don't sleep on the swagged-up "Sexy Boy Christmas") and a second album, Pandemonium!, both before the dawn of 2003. The new songs expertly paired percussive production evoking Timbaland and the Neptunes with grade A songwriting by the likes of R. Kelly ("Girlfriend"). All of the boys' lyrical boasting and heartbreaking was backed up by their starring roles in and guest-studded soundtrack for 2004 flick You Got Served, which remains a cult favorite.

While B2K called it quits that same year, their talent, success, and youth ensured more to come. Lead man Omarion became a Grammy-nominated master of bedroom-oriented R&B and also joined rapper Fizz on VH1's Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood. Boog and Raz-B have also pursued careers across music and film/TV, occasionally crossing paths with their bandmates, but few outside endeavors have stirred up as much fervor as the B2K reunion announcement.

This conert was amazing! It brought back so many memories from my teens. All the artists did there thing! They even brought out some special guests that made the night that much better. And of course B2K!! They did such a great job! I would definitely go so this concert again.

had soo much fun at this concert. every performer did really well. sound system was awesome. BUT the forum HAS LOST THEIR MINDS when it came to how much they charged for drinks.

  • Fat girl problems with seating

    by E. on 4/16/19The Forum - InglewoodRating: 3 out of 5

I am highly pissed that I had to stand up the entire concert while pregnant because my seats were next to a woman who obviously weighed at least 500-600lbs. Her body literally spilled over into my seat! I couldn’t even sit if I tried. It was very inconsiderate of her not to purchase an end seat or request ADA seating because of her weight! So because she took up so much space it literally pushed me out into the aisle way where I was forced to keep explaining the situation to security because I was not suppose to be standing in the aisle. Once security would glance over and see this woman that’d say @oh ok” because they were able to see how uncomfortable and stuffed I was.

  • I thought the concert was absolutely amazing.

    by Re’Re on 4/16/19The Forum - InglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

I thought the the concert was absolutely amazing. However, B2K only played my favorite song called “Everything “ for a little bit. Moreover, I ran into Neyo and I asked to take a picture, but he rudely never did. He informed me to hold on, but never came back to take a picture. That was a little upsetting.

  • Great concert, horrible seat setup

    by Nikki B on 4/16/19The Forum - InglewoodRating: 4 out of 5

The concert was amazing!!! I relived my whole high school musical experience. The meet and greet took forever but was worth it at the end. I ended up missing the first two acts (but I didn’t come for them so I guess it was ok). The only thing I didn’t like was the seat set up. I paid a lot of money to be in the 3rd row and there were random people blocking the aisles and in the front. I felt like I was 10 or so rows back. People were standing on chairs and security didn’t say anything to them.

  • AMAZING!

by Steph on 4/16/19The Forum - InglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

The show was amazing! All the Artists that came out to perform did an exceptional job and it really took me down memory lane. The atmosphere inside the theatre was also great. The gentleman that was MCing the night had us all laughing and dancing during the 5-10min intermissions between acts. The concert is definitely worth the money no artists were cut too short. Huge shout out to the Ying Yang twins who had the whole concert feeling like a club!

This was a good throwback concert. If you have a good fun group of friends, you'll have a great time. It was a pretty long concert, but a lot was going on.

  • Great, Fun show!

by Lizzo on 4/16/19The Forum - InglewoodRating: 4 out of 5

The crowd was amazing, and loved the live band. The only issue was the microphones, it was really hard to hear the actual singing over the band. Overall super fun show :)

  • Everyone BUT B2K had a great performance...

    by aom08 on 4/16/19The Forum - InglewoodRating: 2 out of 5

I honestly enjoyed everyone else that performed other than B2K. My entire group felt like their performance was rushed & they literally only performed what 1 or 2 songs? Then Omarion performed his own songs and the end was literally just a compilation of a few parts of their music.... I'm glad there were other artists there because they made the concert a lot more enjoyable.

    by E. on 4/16/19The Forum - InglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

I was impressed with how put together the show was. There were a lot of acts, but everyone showed up and showed out. I actually went to both shows in LA, and the second one wasn't planned. I just had to go back to see it one more time

Everyone did an excellent job. Very high energy. Great performances, well worth the money! The MC/comedian Gary Johnson deserves all the kudos for keeping the crowd going during the technical difficulties.
