About

B2K In Concert

For a whirlwind two years in the early 2000s, boy band B2K held the world in their sensitive but rugged palms, creating bouncy, hip-hop–enhanced R&B with P. Diddy ("Bump, Bump, Bump") and even starring in a blockbuster dance drama (You Got Served) that showcased their lithe bodies and voices equally. Though the group split up in 2004, late 2018 brought the welcome news that Omarion, Fizz, Boog, and Raz-B are back together and ready to inspire screams and swoons around the U.S. with The Millennium Tour, a bill stacked with names who also call up the flash and flirtation of the aughts: Pretty Ricky, Chingy, Mario, Lloyd, and more.

Boys of the New Millennium, as they're officially known, began as four ambitious kids mostly from southern Los Angeles (Inglewood, Compton, Watts) brought together by industry veteran Chris Stokes, the guru behind predecessors Immature/IMx. But after B2K dropped a self-titled debut in 2002 — filled with slinky bump-n-grinders like "Gots Ta Be" and jiggy dance grooves like "Uh Huh" — it was clear they had a seductive magic all their own. Their recurring spots on the legendary, aptly named Scream tours were thrilling combinations of synchronized dance, perfect harmonies, and intimate interactions with an audience that never stopped squealing.

As their faces plastered the walls of more and more teens' bedrooms around the world, B2K worked tirelessly to please, releasing a splashy holiday collection called Santa Hooked Me Up (don't sleep on the swagged-up "Sexy Boy Christmas") and a second album, Pandemonium!, both before the dawn of 2003. The new songs expertly paired percussive production evoking Timbaland and the Neptunes with grade A songwriting by the likes of R. Kelly ("Girlfriend"). All of the boys' lyrical boasting and heartbreaking was backed up by their starring roles in and guest-studded soundtrack for 2004 flick You Got Served, which remains a cult favorite.

While B2K called it quits that same year, their talent, success, and youth ensured more to come. Lead man Omarion became a Grammy-nominated master of bedroom-oriented R&B and also joined rapper Fizz on VH1's Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood. Boog and Raz-B have also pursued careers across music and film/TV, occasionally crossing paths with their bandmates, but few outside endeavors have stirred up as much fervor as the B2K reunion announcement.

  • It was great, could’ve been better 🤷🏽‍♀️

    by María T on 4/23/19The Forum - InglewoodRating: 4 out of 5

Let’s start off with me saying that I had been obsessed with B2K since I was like 12. When I heard they were getting together again I knew I couldn’t miss it. They came out with their tour but Phoenix, where I live, wasn’t on there. I waited a bit and finally decided to buy tickets in Inglewood which was a 6 hour drive but still the closest one to us. About a week or two later they decided to add Phoenix to the tour. I tried to exchange the tickets but I couldn’t. We went to Inglewood for the concert and it was great, everyone else’s performance was great except for B2K which was the reason I drive all the way over there. They seemed like they did not want to be there. Their performance was like a 4 out of 10.

It should have been better. And start at the time they say it was suppose to start. They said 8pm but half of the artist came out already. I seen on you tube how lit they were in baltimore and atlanta

  • Millennium tour

by S. on 4/23/19Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land - Sugar LandRating: 5 out of 5

This show was awesome!! The concert was LONG, but it was so amazing. I’ve waited 16 years to see B2K, and they did not disappoint. I wish they would have performed more of their songs (I think they only did maybe 5) and cut Omarion’s set down to 1 or 2 songs. The facility’s audio needs a little improvement, and they need a new host. Overall, for the price, it was well worth it. I’m strongly considering buying another ticket in a different state to see them again!

  • The Millennium Tour

by E. P. on 4/23/19Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land - Sugar LandRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was great and very organized. I was able to get in and get to my seat in an effective manner. No traffic. And because i was sitting in the club section, when other people came if u werent in our section you couldn’t come in or walk by. Plus the seats were better and there was a place for u to put ur food and drinks in the club section.

  • The millennium tour

by Coco on 4/23/19Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land - Sugar LandRating: 4 out of 5

I really enjoy this concert so much! All the extra guest did so good, and I screamed the whole night. Ting Yang twins performed all the classics. I really felt like a young 15 year old girl again. B2k did great the performed most of our favorite songs. I was a little disappointed that they only performed 4 songs after waiting for them all night to see them. I think we could have gone without Omarion’s individual set. We can always see Omarion, but we probably will never see b2k together again. Oh yeah and to all the artist that performed knew songs(congratulations on the new music) but we didn’t want to hear that new stuff just old jams lol

  • A Concert Not Worth Missing

by Lady Xenya on 4/22/19Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land - Sugar LandRating: 5 out of 5

B2K was full of energy. They did an amazing job performing. I was really surprised. Although I am a fan I thought someone would have been off beat or missed a step 😂 but everything was perfect 🤩.

  • Good concert

by Brit on 4/22/19Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land - Sugar LandRating: 3 out of 5

The concert was great but I think when your buying seats this venue needs to show where the poles they have for the stairs are. We got seats and when we got there when we sat down you couldn't see anything with the poles in the way. So you pretty much had to stand the whole time!

  • Amazing

by Shana on 4/21/19Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land - Sugar LandRating: 4 out of 5

First off MARIO was phenomenal and it was lifetime experience getting to meet him. He's such an amazing person and I loved all the acts, i didn't get to experience b2k's performance because i was meeting mario. im okay with that since that was the main reason I attended the concert.

  • A Night to Remember

by KC Fun on 4/21/19Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land - Sugar LandRating: 5 out of 5

I felt like I was 14 again. I literally screamed until my head hurt. Everyone did great. It was soooo much fun and I'm glad I had the opportunity to go! It was amazing everyone looked soo good and sounded great. Thank you B2k, Mario, Lloyd, PRETTY RICKY,Chingy, the Ying Yang Twins, and Bobby V for making my night so special! Sidenote, Spectacular is a gymnast and Mario, Omarion, and J Boog looked good enough to eat 😋
