B2K In Concert

For a whirlwind two years in the early 2000s, boy band B2K held the world in their sensitive but rugged palms, creating bouncy, hip-hop–enhanced R&B with P. Diddy ("Bump, Bump, Bump") and even starring in a blockbuster dance drama (You Got Served) that showcased their lithe bodies and voices equally. Though the group split up in 2004, late 2018 brought the welcome news that Omarion, Fizz, Boog, and Raz-B are back together and ready to inspire screams and swoons around the U.S. with The Millennium Tour, a bill stacked with names who also call up the flash and flirtation of the aughts: Pretty Ricky, Chingy, Mario, Lloyd, and more.

Boys of the New Millennium, as they're officially known, began as four ambitious kids mostly from southern Los Angeles (Inglewood, Compton, Watts) brought together by industry veteran Chris Stokes, the guru behind predecessors Immature/IMx. But after B2K dropped a self-titled debut in 2002 — filled with slinky bump-n-grinders like "Gots Ta Be" and jiggy dance grooves like "Uh Huh" — it was clear they had a seductive magic all their own. Their recurring spots on the legendary, aptly named Scream tours were thrilling combinations of synchronized dance, perfect harmonies, and intimate interactions with an audience that never stopped squealing.

As their faces plastered the walls of more and more teens' bedrooms around the world, B2K worked tirelessly to please, releasing a splashy holiday collection called Santa Hooked Me Up (don't sleep on the swagged-up "Sexy Boy Christmas") and a second album, Pandemonium!, both before the dawn of 2003. The new songs expertly paired percussive production evoking Timbaland and the Neptunes with grade A songwriting by the likes of R. Kelly ("Girlfriend"). All of the boys' lyrical boasting and heartbreaking was backed up by their starring roles in and guest-studded soundtrack for 2004 flick You Got Served, which remains a cult favorite.

While B2K called it quits that same year, their talent, success, and youth ensured more to come. Lead man Omarion became a Grammy-nominated master of bedroom-oriented R&B and also joined rapper Fizz on VH1's Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood. Boog and Raz-B have also pursued careers across music and film/TV, occasionally crossing paths with their bandmates, but few outside endeavors have stirred up as much fervor as the B2K reunion announcement.

    The best concert in 2019!

    by mgnhrdn_wwe on 11/1/19AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

OMG! I had the best time of my life! This concert was a dream because I'm such a HUGE fan of B2K and Pretty Ricky. I just had the time of my life! The concert started on time and it was well coordinated. Just seeing the smiles on people faces put a bigger smile on my face. It was as if we all did a time travel where we didn't have bills to pay! *lol But this was an amazing concert and when I think about it now, it puts a smile on my face.

    A Blast From the Past

I thought the show was great! All of the acts were from my childhood and teenage years, so the nostalgia was great. Each act put on a great show!

A flashback for the 90's babies

by Moe on 6/9/19Amalie Arena - Tampa

I thought the concert was action packed. I arrived over an hour late but only missed two acts. I went to the concert alone but didn't feel alone as the young ladies next to me were very sweet.

    Best SHOW EVER!!!!!

by Racquel B. on 5/23/19AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

By the time B2K came out I was so tired. Out of breath, little to no energy, and I'll do it all over again! Great line-ups and I didnt realize how well Bobby V. can sing (first-time seeing him in concert) Everyone did an amazing job, no complaints whatsoever. I know Raz-b is going through a tough time but it was better that he wasn't there to mess up the once in a lifetime experience.

    Disappointed

by Former teenage fan on 5/22/19AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

I expected a lot more from B2K. I came to the Miami show because I didn't want to miss it (I'm from Philly). They did a very limited amount of songs, and they were a member short. They didn't apologize for it either. Ying Yang twins and Pretty Ricky killed it though.

    Great, but rushed

by Ashley on 5/19/19AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

After waiting 15 years, I had higher expectations. RazB wasn’t there, the only one outside of Omarion that has any energy. All of the openers outshined B2K, Pretty Ricky had the best performance. Everyone who went on was there for 10 mins, B2K came out at 10PM and was done at 10:58PM . Very rushed they didn’t perform ALL of the songs.

    Loved This Show

by NF on 5/19/19Vystar Veterans Arena - Jacksonville

I had an excellent time at this show. From start to finish at both the Jacksonville & Tampa shows were organized and the lineup was perfect! Raz B was missing from the stage... Which was sad, but he had to take time off to work on his mental health, which as a fan, is understandable, yet his presence was missed. Otherwise, the guys did a great job up there. I'll forever love B2K

    Millennium tour

by E. on 5/17/19Vystar Veterans Arena - Jacksonville

All the acts were great until they got to the headliner. B2K was very disappointing. Omarion was great but the group was disappointing and they were missing a member. Paid a lot of money to see them and I like many other people were upset. Ying yang twins should have been the ending act!!

    What do you know

by Ranae.Love24 on 5/16/19Little Caesars Arena - Detroit

The performances it's self were hands down amazing. Chingy took us clubbing, Mario had me falling in love all over again. Pretty Ricky reminded me of why we use to make ground work videos. And the Ying Yang Twins had my back & knees weak for days. But it was B2K that brought the teenager out of me. So why a not five stars? Well the event was so unorganized in my opinion due miss communication. We purchased meet & greet tickets which cost over $300 a piece; These were the only ones on ticketmaster that we saw. Because the passes said b2k, we called to ask if it was for all the artists. No one could answer our question. We received a few emails, one saying the meet & greet would be before the concert only to find out that wasn't the case. One email told us we had to pay another $200 for the afterparty tickets (come to find out that was at the venue too 😒). They also told us during the meet & greet that we can't talk, hug, or take our own pictures and it was basically an assembly line. Walk up, pose for picture but you have to give them your phone, walk out. The would yell next before you could even say hi. Don't think they know what the word GREET means in meet & greet. So what was the point. Why am I spending 200 to have someone take a blurry as picture of me. And no, the tickets were just for b2k. During the concert Mario said his meet & great will be after his performance. So I asked around yet no one at the venue knew anything. I asked so many questions but the only answer I got is the location of the bathroom.

    Good Time...but long concert!

by Lyn on 5/16/19Amalie Arena - Tampa

This was such an amazing experience, but the concert was so long. There were a few acts that could have been cut from the show, and we could have gotten a few more B2K songs and Pretty Ricky. Overall great experience!
