Austin Spurs at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park
The Austin Spurs are one of the most successful and longest-running NBA G League franchises. The Texas-based team has won five division titles and four conference titles, and they took home the G League championship in 2012 and 2018. The Spurs also played in the 2019 FIBA Intercontinental Cup in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where they finished fourth. Since 2017, the Spurs have been coached by Blake Ahearn, a veteran of both the NBA and the G League. The team plays its home games at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park, a venue located north of downtown Austin that has a capacity of 8,000. The arena opened in 2009 and books a wide variety of music, sports, and family-oriented events.
Austin Spurs History
The Austin Spurs franchise dates back to 2001 when the NBA G League was operating as the National Basketball Development League. When the team formed, it was originally based in Columbus, Ohio, and known as the Riverdragons. In 2005, the franchise moved to Austin and became known as the Toros. That name stuck even after the San Antonio Spurs bought the team in 2007, although the Toros changed their name to the Spurs starting in 2014. The team currently plays in the Southwest Division of the Western Conference.
Prior to playing home games at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park, the Spurs called the Austin Convention Center home. Historically, the franchise has been home to dozens of athletes who make a positive impact in the NBA, including current players such as Memphis Grizzlies small forward Kyle Anderson, Washington Wizards center Ian Mahinmi, Los Angeles Clippers power forward JaMychal Green and San Antonio Spurs point guard Dejounte Murray. The franchise has also produced players who've gone on to success in professional leagues all over the world — a testament to the world-class training and skills-building the Spurs have always encouraged.
I bought a ticket to see the Austin Spurs play for under $20, and I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived that there was not a bad seat in the house. The concessions were great, and the atmosphere was even better. I was also thrilled to find out that Hall of Famer, Manu Ginobili, was hosting a free Q&A before the game to anybody who had bought a ticket. What a night!

When I try to buy ticket for this event they are never available this is not user friendly I have to wait until the day of the event to get tickets Austin Spurs should make it easy to buy tickets
Everything inside the arena was great. Security was polite. The person guiding me to where I was sitting was very nice. The people working the concession stand were all extremely polite. Although the people working the parking lot were nice, I wish parking was free.
The seats I purchased was at a great deal!! It was a Friday Family Fun night out. It was a Great Game!
I had access a fews weeks advance prior to sale of tickets and price was awesome! $70 regular priced ticket i got @$25.00. Great Seats and it was a Good Game!
Order #508042246: Purchased tickets initially in Section F106 & then was seated in Section F105, which were farther away from action than & less expensive than F106; basically didn't get the seats that were paid for the game.

It was a great time. Loved the small cozy arena. Much more more fun than going to a Rockets game. I am new to Austin having recently moved from Houston. .
Military Appreciation Day was amazing as the Austin Spurs Family (Staff) really showed that they appreciated us wish the floor access upgrade! Also, the mascot is the best I’ve ever seen, very entertaining. I plan on going to more games due to this and my experience during the Dream Game.

We had great seats, it was a great game...but I was so disappointed in the lack of diversity of soda offered ..I am a Pepsi drinker and all it seemed the food kiosks offered was coke products and the bottle of DP I purchased was lukewarm...so as a result I went the whole game with drinking about 3 swallows of luke warm DP....not sure I will go back...even tho an avid Spurs fan...
It was my first basketball 🏀 game for both my daughter and I. We really enjoyed the game, the kid friendly atmosphere and the food. Staff is friendly and kind. Overall all a great experience for us.
We had never been to a Spurs game before. I surprised my 13-year old son with seats center court. He was super excited. Our seats were really good and we could see the all action. The players seemed so close. Those athletes were giving their all! The crowd wasn't too rowdy and I was okay with that. We ran in to a friend we haven't seen in several years who knew "someone" that worked at the arena. This person gave us tickets on the floor!! Those players were so close to us, it was incredible! We were literally 3 feet from touching the court! My son couldn't believe it. I might have to consider season tickets now. They look reasonably priced! We can't wait to go again.

Took the family out to the game. We all had a good time cheering on the Austin Spurs!!! The excitement going into overtime, and winning the game!!! Go Spurs Go!!!
For being a family friendly suburban arena and one that is new, I was surprised how uncomfortably narrow the seating aisles are. It will definitely affect any future decisions to bring my family that includes a lap child to an event here. I would've easily ordered more food and drinks if it wasn't such an uncomfortable experience to eat in such a cramped space. Also food options could def use some quality improvements vs run of the mill concession food. Seating should not extend beyond that court that is not actually facing the court. I really wanted it to be another great option for me to attend events regularly but I will have to think twice now.
Love the games and atmosphere. The kids adore the opportunity to meet the players also.
