About

Despite their calm, clean cut exterior, the five Pennsylvania young men who make up August Burns Red produce high-energy metalcore music that calls to hard-rock ticket buyers. Formed in 2003 while in their senior year of high school, the quintet has since signed to Christian label Solid State and released six studio albums, including the most recent “Rescue & Restore.” That collection, which peaked at No. 9 on The Billboard 200, followed their 2012 holiday release entitled “August Burns Red Presents: Sleddin’ Hill, A Holiday Album.”   Though the band’s tour plans have included multiple runs as part of the Vans Warped Tour, as well as headlining concerts in the US and Europe, August Burns Red has dealt with lineup changes throughout their decade-long life. Only three original members are still onboard to-date: guitarist JB Brubaker, guitarist Brent Rambler and drummer/pianist Matt Greiner. Frontman Jake Luhrs signed on in 2005, and bassist Dustin Davidson joined a year later.

This is the second time that I have seen both August burns red and silverstein. The show was absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I really enjoyed it very much. The only thing that I did not like was the first band that played on stage, but hey, every show has amazing bands, and some not so amazing. I would definitely go see my two favorite bands again, and if they play together, I will be even happier :)

    ABR brings the thunder

I have been to over 50 different shows, primarily metal and ABR was one of the most enjoyable to date. They have a great vide and the general atmosphere within the show was awesome. They preformed flawlessly and their energy was clear and radiated out to the crowd. GO SEE THIS BAND!

I was really bummed that Underoath and Emery could not make the show. August Burns Red was AMAZING! They put on a great show and I am happy I decided to attend anyways. The local bands that played instead were okay. August Burns Red made the show.

    August Burns Red was incredible!!

ABR was one of the best bands I've ever seen play. As for the opening local bands, all were great except the 2nd band to play (who was absolutely horrible). The 3rd band before ABR was very, very good with a lot of energy. Great show, GREAT VENUE!! Will definitely come back!
