What a wonderful experience, one of the best and most sweet Volunteers, helpful and tireless examples of service. Great venue, good food options and Excellent facilities. Clean restrooms, well marked areas, fun filled, just 100/100. No bad seats truly to watch the match in centre court. Scheduling gets weird at times but hey who complains when you are having a great time. Thank you Cincinnati, for a once in lifetime of memories.
We got to see Novak vs Carlos which was spectacular to watch. Also got Novak’s autograph which made it even more special
From the quality of tennis, the immaculate grounds and the incredibly friendly volunteers and staff, this is hands-down my favorite tournament. My only comment that, for semi-finals, the men’s match should be pushed back to the evening session. Folks who only bought an evening session missed the entire first match, which isn’t proportionate to what the day session got to watch. Otherwise, love, love, LOVE this tournament and it needs to stay in Ohio!!
Nice facility with plenty of parking. Final featured Coco Gauf winning her first ATP 1000 at Cincinnati after beating the number one ranked player the day before. Men’s final was fantastic with Djokovich vs Carlos Alcaraz! One of the best matches I have seen!
Best tennis venue and event we've ever attended. Truly epic matches. Keep it in Cincy!
The finals were the best experience. Staff was great. No bad seats. Intimate atmosphere and excellent venue and activities, including watching players warm up, when available, if you were looking for other things to do. Parking manageable. Shuttles available if you were at the right place at the right time. Long food/alcohol lines were to be expected. Prices on the high side, but not surprised. Unfortunately, 1 ice station ran out of ice when last match went longer than expected. Did not want to go to other station in another area and miss play. Seating in food area was tricky, but doable. Restrooms well-kept. Men's room had longer lines than women's. Seems like a first. Well-attended and can see why. Hope this event remains in Cincy and doesn't move to NC.
Each year things get a bit better at the W & S Open Tennis Tourny. But still there are issues. This year we lost the ability to see how fast the serves were. The images were so small and faint you could not see them from the upper seats at all. You need to go back to the large screens. Unsure about the schedule. It makes no sense to have 2 women's semifinals back to back followed by a men's semifinal. Everything is delayed. Just have one women's, one men's and one doubles semifinals for each Saturday session. Then it runs better. You should start the men's doubles finals on Sunday 30 minutes sooner. That way they dont run into the women's finals. In all a great tourny with great matches and I will come back next year.
The parking was horrible. Had to wait 1 1/2 hours before we even moved. It was ridiculous! No port a potty’s anywhere. This was after Friday nite matches were over. Not enough food vendors. For the amount of people that were there Saturday. There were lines at some food places that had over 100+ people waiting. People didn’t clean the tables off after they ate. Really there wasn’t enough places to sit and eat because people sit in the shade to avoid the heat and took up space. Need to be more clear about the day and nite session seating. No announcement was made until after 6 about it on Saturday. Overall the tennis was excellent and we hope it’s back next year. Beautiful facilities!
You can't beat WTA and ATP tennis in Mason, OH. The new tourney owner needs to shelve any plan to move the tournament to Charleston. You cannot duplicate the wide geographical pull of a Midwest pro tournament supported by 1700 unpaid volunteers. The Fan Zone improvements at the Lindler Family Tennis Center venue are a huge plus for the fans. Joker and Alcaraz have a 3-set final for the ages and Coco Gauff picks up her first 1000-series win! See you in Mason OH in 2024!
