Great matches! Great place! Very good courts, you can see all the players very close.
Despite the drama for the second year in a row of Kings Island fireworks going off while the Evening men's semi was going on, which seemed to unsettle Joker, the winner, it was all top notch.
Awesome event and experience from start to finish!
We have been attending this event for the past 15 years. This year we saw some of the best most competitive matches we have ever seen! Definitely looking forward to next year
Amazing experience from the friendliness of the staff to the caliber of athleticism. The venue was clean and inviting, would highly recommend and plan on coming back for many years to come.
Seamless to get to facility. Plenty of parking. Lots of volunteers to guide, direct, and transport those who needed it. Inside the facility all staff was exceptional. Grounds beautiful. Vendors very good. The actual tournament was unbelievable! What quality fabulous tennis! It was like being at US Open but right in Cincinnati! Location so close to all parts of North America and the world! We met folks from Canada and Europe as well as KY, Ohio, and Indiana. KEEP it in CINCINNATI !!!!
Went with my tennis team and had so much fun. We saw tons of matches. A beautiful venue and good value for a full day
The four days we were able to spend at the W & S open tennis championships were most delightful. The venue is large enough to accommodate the world class crowd of tennis professionals, while being comfortable to navigate between food and drink options, entertainment booths, parking, and hospitality locations. Having the post match interview location so close to fans is truly unique, and the volunteers who staff the event are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The weather was not stifling hot, as it might be at a location farther South: in fact, there were sunny skies and frequent breezes. Traffic flow in and out of the parking areas to the expressway was heavy, but moved smoothly and efficiently. The option of shuttles to the venue entrances was readily available. I have been attending this ATP event since Chris Evert and Jim Conners were playing when it was held at the Queen City Racquet Club back in the 60’s/70s. The event and its management has only improved over the years. The proximity to the players makes Cincinnati tennis a familiar and unique experience, one that generates interest and enthusiasm in the sport. Please keep this event in Cincinnati- as they say …”If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!””
Amazing event, very well organized! I would love to return next year! Everything was perfect, I add my tickets to wallet and it was very easy checking in and out! Staff on grounds is amazing - very kind and helpful. I kindly recommend this event if you are tennis lover. A lot of things going on on the grounds even for kids - table tennis, games, etc
We drove from Minnesota to watch just one day of this tournament. It was so worth it. My only complaint was a lot of merchandise was sold out by Friday. I had my hear set on a sweatshirt and there were none available of any style!!
Took us longer to get out of the parking lot, than it took Djokovic to be Fritz!!!! It took over an hour and a half to get out of the parking lot. The management of the parking exit was the worst event experience ever. Ruined the evening of great tennis.
This was the first time attending a Professional Tennis event. We had a great experience. It was well managed. We definitely want to attend again.
Great venue—clean, organized, plenty of customer service folks, lots of food and drink options and GREAT TENNIS!
Very nice venue, easy access to all courts and very easy to run into players, and a very high level on all tennis matches
tournament was fantastic. our group comes in for the quarters and semi's. fans were great, staff was great. venue is great. play action was top shelf. the tournament map provided that we printed from home needs improvement. it doesn't include distances (miles on each turn), directions of roads navigated on (N/S, E/W). When we got off on I75, we made a wrong turn- our fault for that part. I75 is not really shown on map well. recommend that when new in town, follow your personal navigation on phone or on-star- much better. we were late arriving due to our navigational mishaps the 1st day.
Can't explain the experience. Only tennis lovers can understand how amazing that is to be out there so close to the best players in the world. Big structure, nice atmosphere. Amazing!
I had a great time from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out. Everyone was friendly and in good spirits. The drinks were cold, the food was good and the comraderie in the stands was infectious!
Unbelievable tournament with great ambience and top tennis players - get to watch the practice sessions & matches from close quarters
Great seats. A ton of things to be done outside the event for the kids.
The Western & Southern Open is one of only three Masters 1000 tournaments in the US and only 9 worlwide. So the expectations are high for tennis fans like me who travel to different venues to watch top level players. Like it always happens, some players did better than expected (Caro Garcia, Coric), others were eliminated quickly (Serena, Rafa), overall there was a good amount of high quality tennis. The location itself, the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, OH, needs urgently an upgrade to match the high ranking players and tournament category it hosts. A large part of the main stadiums don't have individual seats, some seats have partial vue of the court, the site gets quite noisy, etc. To ensure Cincinnati keeps this Masters franchise for years to come, there has to be a multi-year investment / upgrade plan to bring these facilities to the level of Miami's or Indian Wells'.
