Too many people MISSED this one!

But this group has everything working right, and I was drawn in immediately. I went becuz the tix weren't too expensive and I heard rumors they were are a bargain to see a great band for a first-timer like me. The group was musically tight, nice variety of vocalists and musical styles, great mix of tunes, not too much chatter but some good humor thrown in to make it all enjoyable. There was a dance floor, and the room was full of swing dancers who jumped right up to do their thing, which gave the room an unexpected casual ambience that was as much fun to watch as the musicians. The downside was that it was a small venue, and even at that, was only half full. I didn't feel the show was well publicized. Did keep the wait short for drinks though. I noticed that my friends and I were about the youngest people at this show, these old folks know something we don't. Overall, just a plain enjoyable evening.
