About

For English metalcore act Asking Alexandria, years of extensive touring paid off in 2013 when their third album From Death to Destiny debuted at No. 5 on The Billboard 200. Tapped by Korn as a supporting act on their 2013 tour, Asking Alexandria quickly earned a reputation for their amped up live show, resulting in a series of headlining concerts with Sevendust, All That Remains, and others. The band's touring success in 2013 continued an already-successful run on the road – in 2012, fans clamored for tickets for their sold-out club dates in North America and the U.K., which drew praise for their mosh pit-inducing energy. Asking Alexandria's roots go back to 2003, when guitarist Ben Bruce helmed the group's first incarnation in Dubai. In 2008, Bruce returned home to England and formed an entirely new group, while retaining the Asking Alexandria name. After signing with indie label Sumerian, the band released its debut album Stand Up and Scream in 2009, and followed it up in 2011 with Reckless & Relentless, which peaked at No. 9 on The Billboard 200. Asking Alexandria's current lineup includes Bruce, vocalist Danny Worsnop, guitarist Cameron Liddell, bassist Sam Bettley, and drummer James Casells.

Ever since high school I’ve wanted to see these guys. I’m 27. I am so thankful o got to see them and talk to them. They’re so sweet and really nice guys. They’re the reason I started ‘screamo’ screaming. I hope they have a safe and fun tour! Thank you Asking for coming to town! I love you guys! 🤘🏻❤️ Thanks for always being there for me.

This night was sooo fun I love asking alexandria and honestly I just wanted another hour of them singing. The venue was also really cool just wish they sold food and not just alcohol

They kill it every single time. The sound the energy the hype. I enjoy music from all of their albums and seen them 14 Times. i see them everytime they come thru.

  • They put on a good show

by Kiki on 11/3/21Rating: 2 out of 5

Music was good- just not for me. But the lead singer kept spitting on the stage and I felt that was disrespectful and rude especially for the band that went on after them they would have to walk around in it and possibly slip

  • blegh

by Tyler on 2/13/20Rating: 2 out of 5

Paid for a full show and according to them got a "warm up gig". That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard pay full price and they think of it as them only needing to play like 10 songs. No you are headlining at least make it seem like it and play at least long enough to make it worth it to the people that paid a good amount just to see you.

  • Amazing!!!

by Fox on 10/28/19Rating: 5 out of 5

Their new album is as deep as ever. Danny always delivers music with lyrics from his best experiences, and the band has gone through many push and pulls. Their concert was damn incredible!!!

  • They diddnt play alot of the heavier stuff

  • Not happy with the band

    by V2A6M5P3I1R9E4 on 12/13/16Revolution Live - Ft LauderdaleRating: 2 out of 5

When I purchased this ticket, the Asking Alexandria that I had seen in 2015 at warped tour is what I was excited to see. After warped tour I was dying to see them live again and than when I saw they were going on tour I knew I had to get tickets. But then a month before the show everything changed and I paid to see the band that I saw at warped tour but that wasn't the case and that made me really unhappy. Leading up to the show I was so disappointed that I spend money to see them. I will not be buying tickets to see them ever again. So I ended up losing my money that I work hard for to a show that I didn't even go to.

  • Absolutely incredible!

    by PTVFanatic1999 on 12/2/16The Ritz Ybor - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

I went to the show in Orlando and the one in Tampa (that this review is about) and this one was so much better! The venue was a bit less filled than the other and the bands were more personal it seemed than the other show. I got up to the barricade so I had an incredible time! Every band was spectacular both times. Bad Omens, being the opener, didn't have long but they played really well and won over at least one new fan (me). Definitely picking up their album, and I'd recommend it. Upon A Burning Body was very good too, playing an interesting set and having everyone get involved with their songs. After The Burial, they played very well, just not my favorite set. Still I liked it and I plan to pick up some of their music when I go to get UABB's music. I See Stars was an unexpected set. When I say this, I had no clue who they were or what they sounded like, but the high pitch of Devin's voice caught me by surprise. This set was really really good and the singer got right up to the crowd and was reaching out and touching hands too, so he got really personal with the crowd. Born of Osiris was a good set, also not exactly my favorite, but they played very well and went nuts on stage, and the music was still good. Now for Asking Alexandria. These guys did so well! They are the reason I went to both of these shows, and they didn't disappoint. Between the comedic nature of their conversations, their incredible musical performance, and the fact that they played a variety of their discography made their performances incredible. Also, seeing Danny back in the band is a nice touch too. I went a fan of one band, and I left there with four new ones, and I could almost say five new ones. Definitely worth checking out!

The best concert I have ever been .............................................

  • AWESOME

    by Ninna330 on 11/16/16State Theatre - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

Asking Alexandria was awesome to go see especially at the venue because it was small and the line wasn't long when I got there yet. It was conveniently next to a parking garage. All the bands were awesome and showed tons of support for everyone that attended. Danny and Ben made the show hilarious with all the jokes. I couldn't get over the fact of seeing my favorite band!

  • Surprisingly the Best Show Ive Seen in a Long Time

    by HunterBanks1997 on 11/16/16State Theatre - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

With all of the speculation with Danny's return I was skeptical but let me make it VERY clear... This show was the best I have seen in a long time! Danny, as well as Ben, James, Sam and Cameron were unforgettable. I was laughing till it hurt and screaming all of the lyrics to old songs by Asking Alexandria, but lets not forget to mention the other five bands! Bad Omens, perfect! What a great opening band! Upon A Burning Body, unforgettable and undeniably amazing. After The Burial, what a fantastic group of people! I see stars, best performers and they got the crowd going. Definitely seeing them again when they come back. Born of Osiris, never have I enjoyed a heavy metal band as much as them! 10/10 recommend.

  • Opening Bands Were Best

by KGofPA on 11/13/16Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 3 out of 5

The guys from AA are definitely taking too many drugs. They talked way too much and didn't play enough music. The opening bands were good fit the most part.

  • The AA concert you've been waiting for!!!

by AgentGatez on 11/13/16Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Even with being a fan of this band for as long as I have, this was the first time I ever got to see them with their original line up. The concert was so amazing! Getting to hear all their old songs that I thought I never would definitely made me really nostalgic about this band. Their performance was great, their crowd interaction was great, and overall it was just a fun time. For anyone concerned that Danny is not committed to this, I am here to ease those concerns. He is definitely back (and better than ever).

  • Asking Alexandria was best show ive seen in years

by nctrim on 6/28/16Fillmore Auditorium (Denver) - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

This is a small upscale band that need to hit it big. I paid 15 bucks for a ticket to their show. I would have paid 80 bucks to see them live. Fantastic light, sound, performance.. Everything was amazing.

  • Asking Alexandria

    by Clifftru67 on 6/28/16Fillmore Auditorium (Denver) - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

Awesome show. Never seen them live but heard that perform great. they did not let me and my daughter(12) down. Love seeing other bands but rather cut one or two bands out of the line up and have more of the main headliner. Asking Alexandria has overcome the departure of Danny with Denis for sure. Great show.

  • It was AMAZING!!

Best concert I've ever been to!! Will definitely see again!
