For English metalcore act Asking Alexandria, years of extensive touring paid off in 2013 when their third album From Death to Destiny debuted at No. 5 on The Billboard 200. Tapped by Korn as a supporting act on their 2013 tour, Asking Alexandria quickly earned a reputation for their amped up live show, resulting in a series of headlining concerts with Sevendust, All That Remains, and others. The band's touring success in 2013 continued an already-successful run on the road – in 2012, fans clamored for tickets for their sold-out club dates in North America and the U.K., which drew praise for their mosh pit-inducing energy. Asking Alexandria's roots go back to 2003, when guitarist Ben Bruce helmed the group's first incarnation in Dubai. In 2008, Bruce returned home to England and formed an entirely new group, while retaining the Asking Alexandria name. After signing with indie label Sumerian, the band released its debut album Stand Up and Scream in 2009, and followed it up in 2011 with Reckless & Relentless, which peaked at No. 9 on The Billboard 200. Asking Alexandria's current lineup includes Bruce, vocalist Danny Worsnop, guitarist Cameron Liddell, bassist Sam Bettley, and drummer James Casells.

I knew most of the songs that they played so I had a very good time. It had a good balance of their more heavy songs to their lighter modern songs.
All 4 bands were superb! Love all the bands that played!
I always have a blast when I go to the concerts the people are always great and the music is even better.
Luckily I went to this for memphis may fire they crushed it lots of energy good show. Asking Alexandria super low energy sound check must have failed 1stb2 songs mix was awful. Would not see alAsking Alexandria again.
They put on an amazing show, second opener literally crowd surfed and they played the most amazing songs ever, a mix of old and new stuff. Lead singer is a really funny guy and made inbetween time so entertaining and had a great personality, they sounded amazing
I purchased 3 tickets at last minute my friends bailed I wasn’t going to go but instead decided 2 tickets wasted is better than 3. Met some cool people there enjoyed what I could of the mosh pit. I’m a little old now so it’s not as easy. But I definitely found it to be a great time and the bands still rock even to this day. Only improvement I would suggest is put an extra ID checker on the 2nd floor where the beer is. It was a scavenger hunt trying to get a beer then transferring funds cause Applepay isn’t accepted, so I moved stuff around to my discover debit, that also wasn’t accepted, so I went to the atm … cash also not accepted. Then i found the cash to card guy and he was my final step to getting a drink. Haha good times
Saw AA at the Bluestone in Columbus on 5/1/24. I was so excited to see them as they had cancelled twice previously at Ink and shocked to see they were playing a small venue like the Bluestone. It was definitely sold out but I was not impressed… There were 4 bands on the bill and I don’t know if the sound people just sucked or the acoustics aren’t ideal for a rock show, but they all sounded awful. Couldn’t hear the singers over the music all night unless they were screaming. As for the venue itself, it was beautiful, but that’s about it. It was hot as hell on the floor, up in the balcony, and especially in the bathrooms. $5 for a bottle of water lol and no idea what alcohol cost was because I wasn’t drinking.
Incredible concert! Only dampened by The Word Alive merch guy.
Every band that performed was amazing. Hard to pick a favorite
Really loved how close we were to the stage even though it was a small venue it was a great price for tickets for general admission to be so close to the bands. The venue was very clean including the bathrooms. And all the bands sounded amazing! My husband and I had a great time!
Although the venue was a little small, the staff was amazing in making sure everyone was safe. There was a staff member I believe his name was Chris, he was great. He was working by the stairs as well as a short woman with blonde hair and an average height woman with orange hair. (I forgot their names). They were all amazing working by the steps and really kept people from being overcrowded or hurt!
Memphis may fire was great. AA the vocals sounded muffled and overpowered by the music. Seemed like some audio issues. They reset something and the vocals improved but then was the same. Probably equipment or not checking during the event.
honestly, i was pretty disheartened to write this, but it wasnt the greatest show ive attended. the openers were amazing, but danny was kind of disappointing. i understand that playing night after night gets repetitive & it strains on you, but he really didnt hit the notes at all. he kept the same tone for most of the show & it was unlike him at all. i seen him two years back & was so excited to see him again, but it fell flat. and the sound techs at the roxian were not great at all, been to two shows prior to this one & the sound techs always play the other instruments way too loud over the vocalists.
This was such a great show! They were amazing! I had the time of my life!❤️🔥
It sucked to be completely honest. Concert was supposed to start at like 6 or 630 didn’t start until after 7 and I had to leave by 945 because of having to get home to go to bed for work the next day. I knew I wasn’t going to get to see all of them, but I was hoping for a few songs, but nope, didn’t even get that. So, yeah, it blew and they are one of my favorite bands, because of their music video for someone somewhere. I was in the Marines and that was the same MOS I had.
AA was incredible!!!! We love them live. Didn't love the venue that much, but o well.
Decent front man, powerful voice. Band sounded great. Great line-up with him. Come on, Asking Alexandria and Memphis May Fire in the same night?!
Both Memphis may fire and asking Alexandria are entirely too popular for such a small venue. They’ve leveled up to Amphitheater and festival status. Memphis was amazing. But entirely too packed with wreckless people who don’t understand not everyone wants to get caught up in the pits at 30 plus years old.
The venue was small to fit that many people in. I end up leaving early because of how packed it was in the small venue. A bit disappointed. I did enjoy the first three bands but left before Asking Alexandria performed. Could it have been set up at a different venue?
