About

For English metalcore act Asking Alexandria, years of extensive touring paid off in 2013 when their third album From Death to Destiny debuted at No. 5 on The Billboard 200. Tapped by Korn as a supporting act on their 2013 tour, Asking Alexandria quickly earned a reputation for their amped up live show, resulting in a series of headlining concerts with Sevendust, All That Remains, and others. The band's touring success in 2013 continued an already-successful run on the road – in 2012, fans clamored for tickets for their sold-out club dates in North America and the U.K., which drew praise for their mosh pit-inducing energy. Asking Alexandria's roots go back to 2003, when guitarist Ben Bruce helmed the group's first incarnation in Dubai. In 2008, Bruce returned home to England and formed an entirely new group, while retaining the Asking Alexandria name. After signing with indie label Sumerian, the band released its debut album Stand Up and Scream in 2009, and followed it up in 2011 with Reckless & Relentless, which peaked at No. 9 on The Billboard 200. Asking Alexandria's current lineup includes Bruce, vocalist Danny Worsnop, guitarist Cameron Liddell, bassist Sam Bettley, and drummer James Casells.

  • Wasn’t heavy enough and complained about the venue

by Jay on 4/24/24Revolution Live at the Backyard - Ft LauderdaleRating: 2 out of 5

The bands before them were heavy which started mosh pits and crowd surfing. They calmed down the crowd and spent to much time complaining about the microphone and venue. The venue wasn’t the best but the problems should’ve been solved during sound check. Just seems like they weren’t prepared. Even if they weren’t prepared they didn’t need to share the problems with us because we didn’t notice. The band seems washed sit this one out

  • Fantastic experience

by KRN on 4/20/24Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was absolutely amazing. Parking was a bit of a struggle, but manageable. It was clean and set up well. Drink prices were outrageous, but the drink options were good. Overall, an amazing experience and would definitely return for more concerts !

  • AMAZING!

by Marvin on 4/20/24Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Asking Alexandria is a band I have always wanted to see ever since I started listening to them back in 8th grade! they’re amazing stage presence and out of this world vocals made the show unforgettable that I even cried as I made my 9hr drive home haha. Not to mention the supporting bands in Memphis May Fire, The Word Alive, and Nerv setting the tone and getting everyone warmed up for an amazing night!

  • Awesome concert

by Marianna on 4/19/24House of Blues Myrtle Beach - North Myrtle BeachRating: 5 out of 5

My friend and I went to this concert together and have been counting down the days since January. It was fantastic!

  • Venue is not the best. Bands were great (for the most part)

by BlackWolf on 4/19/24House of Blues Myrtle Beach - North Myrtle BeachRating: 3 out of 5

Not really a fan of the House of Blues in N. Myrtle Beach. The stage is way to high (at 5-1/2 ft or so) for such a small venue, I have to crane my neck just to watch the show from the GA Pit. I realize they can't "rebuild"the stage, but it never should have been built that high in the first place. NERV, The Word Alive, and Memphis May Fire ROCKED though! We couldn't stay to see Asking Alexandria, and they don't really seem to interact that well with their fans from what I've seen (we've done a M&G with them before). MMF on the other hand, really engages with their fans, and they're very personable and outgoing! Love them!

  • Amazing lineup at such a beautiful venue

by Emeritus on 4/18/24House of Blues Houston - HoustonRating: 4 out of 5

So I will start by praising all four bands! NERV, The Word Alive, Memphis May Fire absolutely were all extremely impressive and all 4 bands are extremely talented. Asking Alexandria the headliner was obviously outstanding, however I do feel the sound tech and systems were having a lot of malfunctioning parts. The start of show they called for batteries because the microphone was dead and there were a lot of times on all 4 performances most noticeable during Asking but also quite prominent in TWA. Thank you guys for overcoming these issues professionally but it did take away from the power in the experience. Additionally there are a few people at the venue breaking rules and becoming far too inebriated that should have been removed but were not. I understand as everyone pays for the experience we are all entitled within reasonable accommodation to enjoy the entire show. That being said some people are going to forget the whole thing anyway from being too intoxicated and belong in a drunk tank for the safety of others. Overall amazing show great concert fabulous experience just a little too tightly packed and a notice of issues with equipment!

  • Amazing show from every band

by Rachel on 4/17/24Fillmore New Orleans - New OrleansRating: 5 out of 5

NERV, The Word Alive, Memphis May Fire, and Asking Alexandria all put on amazing shows. The first two I’d never heard of before am definitely a fan of now, and Memphis May Fire and asking Alexandria were just as good as I was hoping they’d be.

  • Excellent show!

by Herbwv on 4/17/24Fillmore New Orleans - New OrleansRating: 4 out of 5

All the bands were excellent. They all fit together well. My only issue is the sound in the Fillmore. It took Asking Alexandria a few songs to get right. I was very pleased with the show all the bands put forth.

  • Good show, okay venue

by Karls on 4/15/24Aztec Theatre - San AntonioRating: 4 out of 5

I thought the show they put on was great. However, there were not enough security guards to handle the crowd surfers, as a few people fell straight on the ground with no one to catch them. It was also strange how the GA floor was split into 2 sections

  • Disappointed

by Musicfan on 4/15/24Aztec Theatre - San AntonioRating: 2 out of 5

For the first show kicking off their tour, it was a bit lackluster. They only played for an hour and that included the one song encore. I've never seen an opening band only play an hour. The energy on stage was fair and not what a kick off show should have been. So many good songs were overlooked which could have been performed had they played the traditional 1.5 hours all other headliners play.

  • Awesome!

by R. Seeley on 11/9/23The Fillmore Detroit - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Awesome concert! Ben was not there and I was SO disappointed but it was SO awesome anyway! (LOVE YOU BRUCE!)

  • Thee absolute best

by CC on 10/12/23Stir Concert Cove-Harrah's Council Bluffs Casino & Hotel - Council BluffsRating: 5 out of 5

Asking Alexandria has been one of the bands that their songs have got me through some extremely difficult times in my life. Hearing them for the first time was powerful - the last song was my absolute favorite..Alone in a Room got me through some nights that I didn’t think I’d see the light again. Definitely emotional hearing it live but in the best way possible.

  • The crowd was completely behind the Band

by DEVOINGO on 10/11/23The Wiltern - Los AngelesRating: 3 out of 5

Not my style of Music. The Crowd was completely entertained by the Band .

  • I didn't stay...

    by Alma_bonita on 10/11/23The Wiltern - Los AngelesRating: 3 out of 5

I didn't stay for the headliner.. we where there for The Hu.. amazing band!! This was my3rd show ive attended.. we followed them ones all the way to san Diego! So worth it! The only thing is that they didn't want to sell me a ticket for the pit at the will call.. my son and i had pit tickets but my youngest son came along with us and couldn't join me in the pit.. he stood in GA with my oldest son.. he still had a good time but he had his heart set.

  • The HU was AMAZING!!!

by Dr. B on 10/11/23The Wiltern - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

I loved attending the concert at the Wiltern. While I didn't stay for Asking Alexandria, the HU put on the most amazing show! I was in the pit, and it was just the best concert I've been to in a long time! LOVE THE HU!!!!!

  • Amazing night

by Claudia Guevara on 10/11/23The Wiltern - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

What a show! It was so cool to hear their songs, the old ones and the new ones. Their performance was incredibly insane. I travel from Mexico just for that show and was the best decision!

  • I went for The Hu

by JGarcia on 10/11/23The Union - Salt Lake CityRating: 4 out of 5

Asking Alexandria was fine, actually better than expected, although I have never understood artists encouraging the violence of a mosh pit. The Hu, who we actually went to see, were absolutely phenomenal as always!

  • Asking Alexandria was Great!! Encore venue horrible

by Rebdec on 10/10/23Encore - TucsonRating: 4 out of 5

Asking Alexandria was great!! The venue, Encore in Tucson AZ was horrible!!! No ac, hot as hell. They only take cash at the bar, atm line crazy long. I will never go to a concert again at this venue and you shouldn’t either! Owner must be a cheep individual
