About

For English metalcore act Asking Alexandria, years of extensive touring paid off in 2013 when their third album From Death to Destiny debuted at No. 5 on The Billboard 200. Tapped by Korn as a supporting act on their 2013 tour, Asking Alexandria quickly earned a reputation for their amped up live show, resulting in a series of headlining concerts with Sevendust, All That Remains, and others. The band's touring success in 2013 continued an already-successful run on the road – in 2012, fans clamored for tickets for their sold-out club dates in North America and the U.K., which drew praise for their mosh pit-inducing energy. Asking Alexandria's roots go back to 2003, when guitarist Ben Bruce helmed the group's first incarnation in Dubai. In 2008, Bruce returned home to England and formed an entirely new group, while retaining the Asking Alexandria name. After signing with indie label Sumerian, the band released its debut album Stand Up and Scream in 2009, and followed it up in 2011 with Reckless & Relentless, which peaked at No. 9 on The Billboard 200. Asking Alexandria's current lineup includes Bruce, vocalist Danny Worsnop, guitarist Cameron Liddell, bassist Sam Bettley, and drummer James Casells.

  • ASKING ALEXANDRIA WAS MISSED!

STAFF SUPERB! BANDS AWESOME, A HUGE NUMBER OF THE PEOPLE IN ATTENDANCE WERE WORSE THAN RUDE!

  • Their Stage Presence

by ChrisHS on 4/1/14The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Asking Alexandria had a fantastic stage presence and the crowd felt it! But, the microphone was quiet and he could barely be heard at times. What about the other bands? They were all amazing! August Burns Red and We Came As Romans KILLED IT!

  • Augustburnsred was awesome!

Absolutely loved it! The Electric Factory is one of my favorite places for concerts. All of the bands were fabulous!

The lineup of bands was pretty good. Born of Osiris, We Came as Romans, and August Burns Red were all incredible! Asking alexandria performed very well, but I could do without all of the anti-god and sexual remarks. I'm not inyo pushing my religion on others, but what the lead singer was saying was so offensive I left before they could finish their set. Disappointed!!

  • AA,WCAR,ABR

by NikkiZzzzzz on 3/26/14The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5

We got there late and didn't get to see the first two opening acts. But every we did see was great. Especially Asking Alexandria and We Came As Romans. AA played a pretty long set and sounded great live. Personally I would've loved if they played more songs from thier first album, Stand Up and Scream but they did play a few. Overall the Break Down the Walls tour was a great time!

  • AA kicked my ass

by MaggieBurns on 3/26/14The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing show. Every band was great. I met the bassist of Crown The Empire and got my ribs bruised during Asking Alexandria's wall of death. I have no regrets.

  • Could'nt Hear For 2 Days After

by JEEEEERRRRRNNNNN on 3/26/14The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

This concert was insane. 5 bands over almost 6 hours. I could barely handle the awesomeness.

  • Asking alexandria killed it!!

    by Tbone2423 on 3/26/14The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

I'm 30 years old seen a lot of great bands at a lot of venues including the electric factory and this show will stand out in my mind as the best!

  • Fucking awesome

    by emd595 on 3/26/14The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Every single band killed it. You know it was a good show when you come home, can't hear anything, your back and neck are sore (mainly from headbanging, but also people landing on you) and you have bruises on your arms and ribs from moshing and participating in the wall of death.

  • Great bands! So much fun!

    by AllyCat1996 on 3/26/14The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Every band rocked and we had a great time! The wall of death was pretty serious and fun!

  • All the bands were great!

    by MetalGirl776 on 3/26/14The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5

The show was great. All the bands were awesome and had a great time. The venue on the other hand was no so great. Poor sound quality. Everything was so loud that you couldn't even tell what song was being played half the time.

  • Break Down The Walls Tour<3

by dearxinsanityx on 3/26/14The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

The Break Down The Walls Tour was amazing. It was the best concert I've ever been to. Everywhere was a good spot to be, but me and my friends were really close to the barrier. All of the bands performances were great. There were mosh pits, crowdsurfers, and the wall of death, all of those things made my experiance amazing. I'm probably going back to the venue for Om&m in May.

  • Asking Alexandria burned it to the ground!

    by Dgroff95 on 3/26/14The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Out of all the concerts I have been to I loved this one the most. It was my first time seeing Asking Alexandria, a band I've been tryin to see the past 5 years. I had seen Born Of Osiris, Crown the Empire, We Came As Romans, and August Burns Red and all of them did better this time around than the previous time I had seen them, except for August Burns Red who I feel did worse. That isn't going to keep me from giving this a 5 star review though! Because all of the Other bands made up for it tenfold! All of the bands flowed rather well together and gave off such a great stage presence! I was utterly pleased!

I loved the show. So much energy but I was really hoping the rumored rule of 21+ in the pit was in effect.

  • Not bad

by CelestialSilence on 11/17/13The Pageant - St LouisRating: 4 out of 5

Overall the show wasn't that bad. The show started late, so that's never good. For Today was awesome... until the lead singer got a little preachy. I don't go to metal shows to hear them talk about God. All That Remains always puts on an awesome show. Sevendust was a little more mellow than what I remember them being. It was my first time seeing Asking Alexandria and they were pretty awesome.

The love going to the pageant. The bands sounded awesome and the staff did a good job keeping idiots under control. Definitely worth the money
