21 Savage in Concert
21 Savage has wasted no time since he left behind a life on the streets of Atlanta to become one of hip-hop's most exciting artists. Released at the end of 2018, the frank and fearless rapper's second album, ‘I Am > I Was,' confirms his status as a gifted newcomer in the game, one who's unafraid to speak out about the social and political issues impacting his listeners, while unflinchingly portraying his own personal experience and struggles.
That boldness has led to an incredible string of commercial success, including such hits as "Rockstar," which reached No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart before earning two Grammy nominations for 21 Savage and his track / one-time touring partner Post Malone. His upcoming shows will no doubt be richly entertaining and intense.
21 Savage Background
Born in the U.K. to parents of Dominican and Haitian heritage, the artist otherwise known as Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph came to Atlanta as a child and endured a harsh education. But music created another path for 21 Savage, whose freestyle skills soon made him a standout in the city's underground hip-hop scene.
After his first mixtape efforts began earning him wider attention in 2015, a spot on XXL's Freshman Class for 2016 and a collaborative EP with local producer Metro Boomin called ‘Savage Mode' led to a breakthrough. The smash success of "X" (featuring Future) led to a deal with Epic and the release of his first full-length album in 2017. The artist's fierce energy and dexterous flow helped send ‘Issa Album' straight to No. 2. He attracted more critical acclaim and chart action the same year with ‘Without Warning,' a collaborative studio album with Offset and Metro Boomin.
Though 21 Savage would also find fruitful creative partnerships with Cardi B on "Bartier Cardi" and Drake on "Sneakin'," he scored his biggest hit to date by teaming with Post Malone on "Rockstar." His raw and intense performances on his spring and summer tours supporting Post Malone were further proof of the onstage prowess he displayed on his own Issa Music and Numb the Pain tours.
21 Savage is on tour in 2019 for his newly-minted gold album "I Am > I Was". He is touring with one of hip-hop's brightest stars, DaBaby.

i loved this experience so much!! i had a lot of fun and i wish i could do it 10 times again
21 savage played over 25 songs that night, more than most artists perform. The intermission DJs played more than just trap music and the gunshots and glass breaking sound, he played songs that reminded me of when I was 13 and it felt nostalgic. JID was amazing, and so was Nardo Wick. By far one of the best concerts I have been to!
This was my first concert and I had a great time. I would definitely go to another one of his concerts! Amazing stage presence also and amazing dj too.
This concert was amazing from beginning to end. Definitely would see 21 savage when he comes to Dallas again.
What show, let alone a rap show ends at 10:45? Usually in these type of setting they aren’t even on stage until 11
Went to this concert and had pit tickets. i was with some of my friends who were also in the pit and i lost them for a moment because the moshing was crazy. circles kept opening up and pushing me really bad and now i have bruises on my feet. just like any crazy pit it was nasty sweaty people rubbing all over you, but that was anticipated so i had a great time and it was a great experience. I got the best up close videos of jid, nardo, and 21
21 dope, JID dope, nardowick, he was aight, stood still like he was balancing a glass of water on his head.
The venue was good, liked the space and felt comfortable. Overall we really enjoyed the concert, I just didn't like that Savage 21 set was for 1 hour, maybe that's a normal time for his concerts. But all the concerts I've been too are at least 1 hour and a half, so I just found that as a negative.
The openers were a little bland but when 21 came out it was crazy! Crowd went wild and visuals were pretty cool! 10/10 recommend!
Awesome show. The sound and the atmosphere. The staff is really great too. Thanks.
Got in the venue quick. Staff was great, bar was great. Entire show was amazing. The entire crowd was hyped nonstop. One of the best shows I've been to in a minute.
The experience was overall amazing, from the atmosphere to the openers, to the show itself. The event had an amazing atmosphere and even better music. If he tours in LA again I am 100 percent going.
The crowd was youthful, energetic and lit!! ABQ, once a city overlooked by big artists, really loves and appreciates when big artists perform here. Many of the 35 and under locals have hip hop deeply engrained. It’s one aspect of the culture and it reflects in the enthusiasm at a concert such as this. This was a good time bc the crowd was hype and 21 Savage didn’t disappoint!!
The entire setlist was well chosen and all acts were amazing one of the best concerts I have been to in a long time. Only problem was having to get out of the parking lot as we were stuck for over an hour, but that is the venues problem and not the artists fault.
My favorite concert by far! We had so much fun and a great time. The venue had easy parking and 21 had a phenomenal performance.
It was fun!!! Only thing is people aren’t fun towards the back so if you wanna have actual fun spend the extra money to sit closer trust !!!
Was not expecting a whole lot outta the show and was mostly there for the music. Overall it exceeded my expectations in terms of sound, quality, stage presence, and crowd! Would love to see 21 again live as he mixed in a lot of his older music and newer music making it enjoyable for all eras of fans:) Stage and performance was incredible!
He puts up a solid set list. But, not too much running around or anything like what t. Scott does. Still its a good time and at least he songs his songs. Still worth going to see.
Concord pavilion sucks! it’s in the middle of nowhere and the parking situation is the worst thing i’ve ever experienced. leaving the concert was a nightmare and took OVER AN HOUR!!. the parking and location is enough to keep me from ever attending another show at concord pavilion. 21 was dope, but not dope enough to erase the memory of the parking and traffic debacle. 0/10 will not do again.
I’ve seen 21 Savage before on tour w/ Drake last yr performing songs from “Her Lost” album. I was really excited to see 21 have his own show this time around but was disappointed that it was a lot of the same song he performed w/ Drake on tour. It’s literally the ‘American Dream’ tour and only 2-3 songs were performed in 21 Savage’s latest album. I expected for the whole album played through..I still enjoyed the show, and this was my friends’ first time seeing 21 live so it made me happy seeing them enjoy it more.
