21 Savage in Concert
21 Savage has wasted no time since he left behind a life on the streets of Atlanta to become one of hip-hop's most exciting artists. Released at the end of 2018, the frank and fearless rapper's second album, ‘I Am > I Was,' confirms his status as a gifted newcomer in the game, one who's unafraid to speak out about the social and political issues impacting his listeners, while unflinchingly portraying his own personal experience and struggles.
That boldness has led to an incredible string of commercial success, including such hits as "Rockstar," which reached No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart before earning two Grammy nominations for 21 Savage and his track / one-time touring partner Post Malone. His upcoming shows will no doubt be richly entertaining and intense.
21 Savage Background
Born in the U.K. to parents of Dominican and Haitian heritage, the artist otherwise known as Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph came to Atlanta as a child and endured a harsh education. But music created another path for 21 Savage, whose freestyle skills soon made him a standout in the city's underground hip-hop scene.
After his first mixtape efforts began earning him wider attention in 2015, a spot on XXL's Freshman Class for 2016 and a collaborative EP with local producer Metro Boomin called ‘Savage Mode' led to a breakthrough. The smash success of "X" (featuring Future) led to a deal with Epic and the release of his first full-length album in 2017. The artist's fierce energy and dexterous flow helped send ‘Issa Album' straight to No. 2. He attracted more critical acclaim and chart action the same year with ‘Without Warning,' a collaborative studio album with Offset and Metro Boomin.
Though 21 Savage would also find fruitful creative partnerships with Cardi B on "Bartier Cardi" and Drake on "Sneakin'," he scored his biggest hit to date by teaming with Post Malone on "Rockstar." His raw and intense performances on his spring and summer tours supporting Post Malone were further proof of the onstage prowess he displayed on his own Issa Music and Numb the Pain tours.
21 Savage is on tour in 2019 for his newly-minted gold album "I Am > I Was". He is touring with one of hip-hop's brightest stars, DaBaby.

Just started way later than expected. There was too much dead time.
the energy, the lights, the music, 21 himself, nardo and JID??? the most amazing night of my life. i had so much fun and it almost felt like a club. the best energy out there fr
Overall the floor was overly crowded, they could have separated VIP from general admission with a simple barrier instead of just allowing VIP to enter earlier. Everyone was pushing and falling over everyone. Assigned seatings for sure looked to be more spacious and enjoyable with the same viewing proximity as the floor for less money. Only good part of VIP was the exclusive merch, but at what cost if no VIP experience.
It was Lit and fun had a good time at the concert.
Super fun concert but waiter 2 hours and 40 minutes for 21 to come on
I loved the main performances, but did feel like there were too many openers. I was very tired by the time JID came on stage. I found it hard to keep my energy high for the whole show
It was all around a great show! I loved it all and fell in love with 21 savage even more!!!
21 is a really good performer. He was super fun to watch and he sounds great live. The opener JID was my favorite though!
21 has a lot of great features but not much of his own music… he would play songs he is featured in rap/sing his part and that was that… he’s got a lot of songs with big names but there’s no way they would ever come out for that
Staff was nice, the venue was a great time! Even for the lawn the experience was an awesome time. We could hear everything well, see everything. And JID was a beast on stage! First big rap concert. I’d definitely go back to White River Amphitheatre.
