    Had higher expectations

by kliz on 4/29/24Arizona Financial Theatre - Phoenix

Lasted short than expected, that could be my own fault for having different expectations. But then the jokes just seemed old and outdated. Was very disappointed in the lack of creativity with the material. Also - the phone locking thing is ridiculous, nothing in the presentation was recording worthy

    Highly Offensive

by BA on 4/29/24Arizona Financial Theatre - Phoenix

I couldn't be happier with how offensive the show was to everyone. The way Bill plays with your emotions makes him one of the greatest.

Bill Burr was fantastic - the opener, not so much

by Crystal B on 4/29/24Arizona Financial Theatre - Phoenix

Bill Burr was as hilarious as always. He bounced back and forth between pushing the boundaries of political correctness and sharing true insights about the challenges of being a human being and a man in a way that was both real and funny. There were parts that were falling-down funny, and we left on a high. Having to lock up our phones was a bit of a hassle, but it was very well-managed. Kudos to the staff! The opening act did not live up to the level of Bill Burr. I get that this guy is probably a friend of Bill's, but it was SO cringey and repetitive. Lots of uncomfortable chuckling in the audience. Repeatedly "honking"the male audience assistant's chest felt so outdated. When it was over, I was glad, and actually lowered my expectations for Bill Burr, which was perhaps the point. But it would have been nice to lead up to Bill in a stronger fashion.

Very funny, and a very secure venue

by Big Bear on 4/29/24Arizona Financial Theatre - Phoenix

Although the line outside looked like it would take at least 30–40 minutes to get in it was surprisingly quick and the crew was very efficient. Was in the building in less than 15 minutes and that gave us time to get some food and drink before the show. Was very entertaining, my only complaint would be that, it would have lasted 15–20 minutes longer otherwise a very good time

Burr is the goat no longer

by Jason on 4/29/24Arizona Financial Theatre - Phoenix

I was the biggest Bill Burr fan ever. Even before he blew up, I was telling everyone about him. I’ve seen him Live quite a few times. I went to the show on Friday night and it was absolutely horrible. His jokes didn’t land, he went the lazy, woke way that he never used to do. I’m fine laughing at myself but he never landed anything. He just attacked white people from the U.S. and England but again nothing landed. It was so weak. He even made comments about not connecting with anything. I got the tickets for Friday’s show from my girlfriend as a gift and I will NEVER go to Bill Burr again. That’s a guarantee. Thanks.

    Great show tiny seats

by Jenn on 4/29/24Arizona Financial Theatre - Phoenix

Bill Burr was awesome. Getting into the venue was a breeze and getting out of the venue was a bit cramped (but no worse than any other venue). Foot traffic moved quickly and all staff encountered were helpful. The only downside was that the seats were a bit cramped feeling and there wasn’t a lot of room to walk between the rows if someone had to get up to use the restroom…felt a little bit like sardines. Overall it was a good night with an excellent performance.

    Off night

by Rob on 4/29/24Arizona Financial Theatre - Phoenix

I was really excited to see Bill Burr to a sold out show. I feel he just didn’t connect with the Arizona crowd that evening. I’ve seen a standup for years. He had an off Evening. I wouldn’t have gone If I could do it all over again, knowing The outcome of his performance

    Long time fan of Billy

by SusieQ on 4/29/24Arizona Financial Theatre - Phoenix

First and foremost, he is one of the best comedians out there. Material is always solid, says things that you wish you could say in public, and his delivery is always so sly. I think this past show was interesting because it felt like he was trying to adjust to the very confusing phoenix demographic. AZ used to hang right and now we are more right sided, and his material wasn't as raw aggressive in all the right ways and genuine, as he typically is. I'd say, I'd still go. He is still one of my favorites.

I’m a huge fan of Bill…! He just seemed out of it and as if he did t want to be there. The show was short and rushed. It was a huge disappointment.

    Funniest comedian ever!

by Brian on 4/28/24Arizona Financial Theatre - Phoenix

He was on one Thursday night. He is a no filter comedian, so if you are sensitive, you may have a problem, and should not see him, but remember, it's just comedy, and he is the best at it!

    Bill Burr in Scottsdale 4/25/24

by MEP on 4/28/24Arizona Financial Theatre - Phoenix

We saw Bill Burr in Scottsdale on the first night of his four night run. We loved the show. Some of the material was catered to the Arizona audience and we laughed the entire time. It sounds as the the show is getting better the longer his is on the road. I would highly recommend seeing it. The warm up act was fine and only about 20 minutes. The venue here (Arizona Financial Theater) is very dated and the pit seats were expensive and consisted of padded folding chairs as other reviewers have mentioned. The seats were small but comfortable and didn't have arm rests and were close together. The process of locking/unlocking cell phones and Apple watches in Yondr bags was quick and seamless and the lack of electronics definitely made the show more enjoyable..
