    language terrible

by danp420 on 5/9/10Trump Taj Mahal - Atlantic City

Saw Bill Burr HBO special about 6 months ago... first I knew of him... had me in tears laughing. So as luck would have it, I was taking my girlfriend to Atlantic City this weekend and notice Bill was performing. I was soooo excited to see him. She didn't know what to expect but trushed my judgement. Now, neither of us are prudes, I even own a bar so I'm used to all kinds of people and language....but this evening was brutal. The first comic, she was terrible... no other words to describe it. Bill was funny at time, glimpses of the guy I saw on tv but I guess because of the venue (casino/late night, etc... he wanted show to be xxx rated... Was just so disappointing to us.

I also saw Bill Burr last year at the Wilbur Theatre. He had all new material and was just a funny as last year. Highlights were Tiger Woods, his new dog, and motherhood being a tough job. He is definately one of my favorite comedians right now. A must see.
