    A Fun Night!

by ComedyGalPal on 1/29/18The Wilbur - Boston

Maria Bamford was unsurprisingly great and her opener was surprisingly even funnier and more on point politically.

Maria Bamford at the Wilbur, Boston

    by Serend765 on 1/29/18The Wilbur - Boston

We found easy parking for the event and the Wilbur had good views from most seats and great sound quality as well. Maria Bamford was really funny and very entertaining. Her impressions are hysterical. Overall great show. I would recommend!

    Freezing

by Ousir on 1/29/18The Wilbur - Boston

Saw Maria Bamford and the opening act last Friday night. Both acts were hilarious, give them each 5 stars. For $43 per ticket, you'd think the Wilbur would turn on the heat. Had to be in the low 50s when we arrived, never got much above 60 degrees IMO. I will never go back to the Wilbur.

    Maria Bamford - dissapointing show

by COMP on 12/20/17Palace of Fine Arts - San Francisco

I knew Maria Bamford was different/quirky but this show was pathetically sad, no fun at all, most of the jokes were recycled, available on youtube for some time. The ending was meant to be funny (farting noises) but it continued for over 1.5 minutes and ended up to be insulting.

    Loved The Show

by NCShae on 9/27/17Carolina Theatre - Durham

I have always loved Bamford's comedy and to have an opportunity to see her in person was better than I could have ever imagined. Jackie Kashian opened for her and I could not have been more delighted as I was not aware that she was on the show until I arrived. If you get a chance to see either of these comedians, you will not regret it. To have the chance to see both in the same venue is the best value you'll get as far as front line comedy goes--these women are amazing!! You will laugh the entire show, .

    Unique Comedy worth seeing

by TALFan on 9/27/17Carolina Theatre - Durham

Maria didn't disappoint. Her unique style and material had us rolling with laughter. Her opening act was hilarious too. At the end of the show my throat was sore from laughing so much. Great show.

    Left wanting

by Bigfan200000000 on 8/14/17The Pageant - St Louis

My husband and I are huge Maria Bamford fans. She has so much great material and we were a little disappointed that what we thought were her strongest were left out. Unfortunately it was a little flat. It was a treat to see her live and we had a great night. We just left feeling as if it wasn't finished (Marilyn didn't make enough appearances) Opening acts were all over the board. It was painful to sit through profanity and screaming. The final pre-performer was fantastic and stole the whole night. Thanks Maria for coming all the way to St. Louis!!

    Maria Bamford is HILARIOUS

by JaclynK on 8/8/17The Pageant - St Louis

Maria Bamford is one of my favorite comedians, so I wasn't going to miss this show. I like that it was for a great cause as well, with some of the proceeds going to FoodBank. The comedians that opened for Maria were also very good. We had a great time!

    Maria, good. Openers, awful.

by SDGirl7 on 1/29/17Balboa Theatre - San Diego

The two women who opened before Maria were terrible. Particularly, the first one. Maria was pretty funny but as much as a fan I am of hers I wouldn't see her live again.

    Go!

by Sharpshiny on 1/19/17Balboa Theatre - San Diego

If you haven't seen Maria, just go already. She's a wonderful comedian, sharp, au courant, eclectic, didn't like War Horse, just go already. And the Balboa Theatre is a great old venue. Do eat and drink before you go, as like many comedy venues, there's no food to speak of.

Best Comedian Ever + Two Stellar Openers

by Karen82 on 1/17/17Balboa Theatre - San Diego

The Balboa Theatre is gorgeous and was easy to get around. Christian and Luis were really great bartenders and made a kickass Manhattan. Maria Bamford is, of course, a genius of her craft and a gift to the world and if you don't agree your sense of humor needs tuning. It was great seeing Jackie and Christine as well; I'd never heard of them and loved both their acts. All three were provocative without being cruel or bitter, and got very real without ever losing the funny. I had an amazing time.

Awkward as ever, in a good way. The warmup comedians were also very good.

    Maria Bamford slays!!!

by Jen4puggies on 11/21/16Egyptian Room at Old National Centre - Indianapolis

I pity those who haven't experienced Maria Bamford, whether through her stand-up or her TV shows, or cosmically. She's a true original. And those voices and facial expressions she comes up with! Best of all she keeps adopting old pugs, knowing they're going to die on her. Not just funny but a nice human being.

Her style is unique and hilarious!

by arquitrabetx on 11/8/16Majestic Theatre Dallas - Dallas

Maria Bamford has all the right quirks and eccentricities to make people laugh hard, even when she shares memories that otherwise would be quite painful.

    Maria Bamford Saved My Life

by BrooklynRivers on 11/7/16Egyptian Room at Old National Centre - Indianapolis

Maria was excellent! I loved the show. Strange, irreverent, honest, and incredibly funny. Is she the female Robin Williams? I don't know, but she is serving up comedy that is worlds above what Amy Schumer does.

    Bamford and Kashian are hilarious!

by Tyranny on 10/24/16Hoyt Sherman Place - Des Moines

I mostly went to see the opening comic, Jackie Kashian, and she did not disappoint. Her set was hilarious. Even when she forgot a bit of a joke she still made us laugh. I was somewhat familiar with Maria but I hadn't heard as much of her material. She was hilarious. I was laughing the entire time. Her comedy style might not be for everyone, , but if you're a fan, it's definitely worth seeing her live.

    If it's for you, it's a delight!

by cbmatt8 on 10/24/16Hoyt Sherman Place - Des Moines

I recommend her comedy to people with certain types of people. Not everyone will be able to keep up with the shifting voices and high speeds. But if you love zaniness over dry, Maria is absolutely wonderful. Generally positive and high energy.

    Quirky, funny and edgy!

by CitizenCrane on 10/24/16Hoyt Sherman Place - Des Moines

Maria was her hilarious trademark self: rambling, self-deprecating, witty and weird. Her opener, Jackie, was also quite good!
