About

Eddie Izzard is a British comedian and actor born in Aden, Yemen. The genderfluid performer got her start in sketch comedy and street performance before launching her stand-up comedy career. Known for her rambling, stream-of-consciousness monologue style and self-referencing pantomime, Izzard won two Primetime Emmys for her 2000 special Dress to Kill. The comedian’s film and TV credits include Ocean’s Twelve (2004), Ocean’s Thirteen (2007), The Riches (2007), Valkyrie (2008), Cars 2 (2011), and The LEGO Batman Movie (2017). Izzard also earned a Tony nomination for the Broadway revival of A Day in the Death of Joe Egg. In 2024, she premiered her one-person adaptation of Hamlet, which will transfer to Chicago and London following its triple-extended run in New York City.

Eddie was wonderful as always. Never disappoints. Look forward to the next time.

  • Excellent experience at Thousand Oaks

by Ian on 11/25/24Rating: 5 out of 5

Suzy (Eddie) is one of our most brilliant, improvisational, organic, inspiring performers of this generation. She states at the outset of her performances that she uses these venues to test her flowing, creative process and it is frankly an honor to be apart of such events. We can but ride with her as she embarks upon another set of moments creating images and ideas the like of which neither she or we may know until they are with us. This trip at Thousand Oaks she regaled us with combinations of adorable pantomime and vignettes honed from her early days of street performances and her masterful perceptions of reading audiences over decades. I look forward to her next performance.

Eddie/Suzy is smart, funny, upbeat and overall their show was a blast!

  • Eddie was great, his mic could have been louder

by Roadgirl on 11/25/24Fred Kavli Theatre- B of A Performing Arts Center,Thousand Oaks - Thousand OaksRating: 5 out of 5

The LOUNGE ACCESS pre-show was a total joke. Cost additional 50 bucks for a free glass of bad champagne and terrible processed snacks, awful NOTHING atmosphere. Had to pay for wine! I’m in the music business and am very familiar with backstage areas. This was embarrassingly non-appealing. Plus, the carpet smelled like mildew. THUMBS DOWN.

  • Eddie Izzard is hilarious

by Ray Albright on 11/25/24Fred Kavli Theatre- B of A Performing Arts Center,Thousand Oaks - Thousand OaksRating: 5 out of 5

She is so very quick-witted and knowledgeable of history and able to bring out random facts and make them hilarious. Her comedy has not changed since her early days doing specials.

  • Remix Tour 2024

I've seen this show three times and this last time was the best. Classic Izzard with updates that are just as hilarious as the originals.

  • Not as funny as last year

by KatV on 11/25/24Fred Kavli Theatre- B of A Performing Arts Center,Thousand Oaks - Thousand OaksRating: 3 out of 5

We are fans of Eddie, but his skit wasn’t as good. A lot of gibberish given. Always funny when he tells stories, history, like he has. Even if he did old skits it would’ve been fun to hear.

  • He/she/they are dressed to kill

by Humor & Fun on 11/25/24Fred Kavli Theatre- B of A Performing Arts Center,Thousand Oaks - Thousand OaksRating: 5 out of 5

Eddie Izzard is unabashedly smart and funny. He/she/they are truly unique, and bring a fresh perspective to the audience and to the world. Eddie is 90 minutes of laughter and joy. Go see Eddie! P.S. The acoustics could have been better. The show was sometimes hard to hear.

Eddie izzard was awesome. I was so excited to see that he was playing locally in a municipal auditorium I had really great seats. Love the comedy, love the humor, love that he is who he is and he's proud of it

  • Eddie Izzard was great! VIP not so much!

by Barlow on 11/23/24Fox Performing Arts Center - RiversideRating: 3 out of 5

I have nothing but good things to say about Eddie Izzards performance. All I hoped for an more. However, we upgraded for the VIP pass. No signs guiding us where to go. Spent 15 mins in line for the “private bar” for extremely over priced drinks. The “hor d’oeuvres” promised were things from a vending machine! Literally: Doritos, raisin snails, veggie sticks, etc. Good thing we went for a big dinner before or we would have been especially upset. Basically we paid extra for a wrist band.
