Welcome to Moulin Rouge! The Musical, winner of 10 Tony Awards® including Best Musical!
Baz Luhrmann's revolutionary film comes to life onstage in a new musical mash-up extravaganza. A celebration of Truth, Beauty, Freedom and--above all--Love, Moulin Rouge! is more than a musical; it is a state of mind.
The show was fabulous. The music was spectacular. The cast was exceptional. Would see it again tomorrow if I could!
the show was ok in my opinion the show in paris france is much better
My wife and I love the movie. Watched so many times. We saw the Broadway version about 4 or 5 years ago and loved it. We were so excited to see that it was being performed in South FL where we live. The performance was incredible. We loved the concept of updating the pop songs in the movie to keep it current. They can keep doing this for decades to make it relevant. My only issue was the change of character who sang Roxanne. Don't get me wrong, Christian character has an amazing voice, but Santiago should have sang this as it was more about his love interest. And it would keep in line with the movie version and the NYC Broadway version.
Excellent performances and great scenarios and songs.
Don’t go thinking you will see the film version on stage. Not going to happen. Just enough of the original music & songs kept to bring it together. Lots of songs not part of the movie that are a nice change and funny done times. Story line is similar to the movie but uses a different okay, in the play. When you think it is over, it’s not. There is another 10-15 minutes of the show. Not a well planned ending in my opinion.
The show was spectacular. The cast was on point with the acting and singing plus the site designing was amazing. I highly recommend this show if you're a fan of the original movie.
Great music selection! Excellent performances, one of my favorite love stories, well brought to musical theatre
From the first moment to the last, everyone in that show gave an amazing performance. The costumes, set, lighting, sound, special effects, everything was perfect. Thank you all for a wonderful date night with my husband! ❤️
What a fantastic show with the voices, the actors, the costumes, the choreography and a very clever and superbly crafted musical arrangement !🤩♥️🎁
Best show since HAMILTON!!! Put a smile on my face the entire show. DO NOT MISS SUCH AN ENJOYABLE EVENING!!!! TREAT YOURSELF!!!! 🎭
The show was well done and I enjoyed the music. The venue however seated late arriving people at the expense of our view and distracting. They also did not monitor cell phone use during the show. Any reputable theater would not seat late arrivals and would actively monitor and discourage cell phone use during the show.
The staff was on point and the entire experience was just overall excellent.
Cast too small, sets cheap and crummy, didn't follow the original story
The stage effects and scenery was perfectly blended between scenes. The romance solos were clear, and emotionally strong, while the group songs were fun, even audience singable. Lots of energy and spurts of comedy inbetween sets. The encore finale was a highlight not to be missed! A spoof musical of rock love songs with a broken hearted twist. It's also a bit sexy, but that's burlesque.
Having seen lots of shows over the years this one was forgettable. For all the awards it won I had expected more. This show couldn’t touch a candle to Chicago, Phantom, Hello Dolly, Chorus Line, Cats, carousel, My Fair Lady…I could go on and on. I thought the story line was weak, dancing so repetitive but a few of the leads did have good voices although hard to understand the enunciation at times. Christin had a good voice as did the two men he met up with. The lead lady should have been drop dead gorgeous with a voice to match. She did not. All said I can’t really give it more than so so.
This show was simply amazing. Great songs, dancing, acting and storyline. Loved it!!
I booked tickets at the last minute while vacationing in Ft Lauderdale looking for something out of the ordinary to do. WOW! What an experience. Performance was captivating, actors, costuming, dancing, singing, storyline all were so awesome. Venue was a delight. I’d go again in any city.
It was great to see a mixture of some RnB and Hip Hop from the 90s till today but in a classy version.
The show was amazing… I totally recommend it to everyone who wants to watch it
Last night, I had the immense pleasure of experiencing "Moulin Rouge,"and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment the curtains rose, the audience was transported into a world where glamour, romance, and heart-stopping performances intertwined to create an unforgettable experience. The singing was, without a doubt, perfect. Each note seemed to carry the weight of the emotions portrayed, making the audience feel every heartbeat and every whisper of the soul-stirring music. The performers were not just singing; they were baring their souls, making each song a poignant piece of the narrative that left us wanting more. The production quality of "Moulin Rouge"was a feast for the senses. The vibrant sets, the intricate costumes, and the dazzling choreography all combined to create a visual spectacle that perfectly complemented the extraordinary musical performances. It was a masterful display of artistry and passion that kept us on the edge of our seats from start to finish. What a night it was! "Moulin Rouge"is more than just a show; it's an experience that envelops you, making you a part of its enchanting world. It's a celebration of love, art, and the indomitable spirit of the performers, both on stage and behind the scenes, who bring this masterpiece to life. I left the theater feeling exhilarated, moved, and profoundly grateful for the experience. "Moulin Rouge"is a must-see for anyone who cherishes the power of live theater to inspire, entertain, and transform. Five stars aren't enough to capture the brilliance of this show. It's truly a gem in the crown of the performing arts.
