I've seen Phantom multiple times in Fort Lauderdale, New York and London. This new production was such a disappointment that we walked out of our box seat right after intermission during the masquerade set. The new sets and choreography tries to be too flashy but falls flat. I'm sad to say that I'll not be attending any more performances of Phantom if it's listed as a "new production".
The Phantom was the first understudy and he was absolutely fabulous! The blocking of the ending seemed somewhat different than I remembered. All the acting and singing was fantastic and so was the orchestra.
Difficult to understand what is being said/sung. (I have seen other shows at this location with no problem.)
Outstanding performances and outstanding staging and operations!

Despite some skepticism after reading reviews, I took my kids, ages 15, 13 and 9, to see the new production of Phantom of the Opera. I expected to be disappointed as I had seen the original one many years ago, but, in fact, I was pleasantly surprised. It was really well done, the costumes were fantastic, the set was creative and the cast was amazingly talented. I'm so glad we went. My kids LOVED it and thought it was exciting and grand. If you get the chance to go, don't hesitate. Close your eyes, let your spirit start to soar, and live as you never lived before!
Saw the first one here many years ago this one was better the singing was awesome

The US tour was amazing even though they changed some things from the original production. Other than that, the cast, set design and the whole show in general was the best.
This is my second time going to the phantom. I loved it so much the last time so i brought my entire family. We all loved it. The voices are amazing and the show is exciting.
This was an enchanted evening of music and theater.
The Phantom was awesome. My 6th time seeing it at varous venues. The person playing Phantom had a wonderful voice.
I went to see PotO when it came to New Orleans in 2015. I drove to Birmingham in 2017 to see it again, then 9 of us ladies went to see it in New Orleans March 15, 2018. All three times I paid top dollar for up close to the stage seats. I. Love. This. Show. I’ve seen 3 different phantoms and two different Christines. All, brilliant and amazing. I would recommend this production to everyone, except maybe small children. It’s not inappropriate, but it would be taxing on their attention span (depending on the child). It’s perfection.
The Phantom of the Opera is fabulous and highly recommended! I will definitely see it again.
Sound wasn’t loud enough to take me in, but other than that, Saenger was beautiful & performers were superb!
The Saenger Theatre is a beautiful place, in which the story of the Phantom of the Opera came to life! Every note was played with perfect excellence by the orchestra, conducted by a skilled director. The actors and actresses displayed marvelous skill and talent in their singing, hitting difficult pitches with accuracy and style. The main actors and actresses truly embodied their characters perfectly. I would go again in a heart beat! My only qualm was that most of the employees standing at the door and directing people to their seats seemed very unhappy and inconvenienced by the guests.

I highly recommend seeing any show at the Saenger. The theater itself is stunning and worth the price of admission just to see it. The phantom of the opera was an amazing show. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. The music, set, and costumes were all outstanding. Highly recommended!
