Collective Soul rose to prominence in the mid-’90s with 1993’s Hints Allegations and Things Left Unsaid. The album featured the hit single “Shine” and took Collective Soul from college radio to heavy rotation on MTV. By the end of 1995, the band (led by singer-songwriter Ed Roland) had toured with Aerosmith and Van Halen and performed “Shine” in front of thousands of fans at Woodstock ‘94. Their triple-platinum follow-up, Collective Soul (1995), included "December," "The World I Know" and "Where the River Flows," all No. 1 songs on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. Collective Soul would continue achieving career milestones well into the 2000s and 2010s, including a duet with Elton John (“Perfect Day”) and nine additional studio albums.

They played all the old favorites and some new ones. Even did a couple of covers. Great energy!
We had a great time. The band Collective Soul was amazing. They sounded really great!
Seats were great, Collective soul really knows how to work the room.
An amazing venue for an amazing band. These guys have such a fun stage presence. BEST NIGHT EVER!
I have seen them many times in Las Vegas, they are always THE band to see, love all their albums !!
Second time I’ve heard CS. The Pearl theater is absolutely a great venue. We had floor seats in the middle about 16 rows back and the acoustics were terrific. The entire staff seemed organized and friendly. And of course Collective Soul is just such an awesome band. I’ll probably travel to see them again someplace this year.
Fantastic show. Collective Soul did not disappoint. Great set list. The drum and guitar solos were unbelievable. Loved the venue. Cannot wait to see them again!!
One of the best concerts I have been to. Can’t wait to go again!
Pretty good show. Would have given more stars but the lead singer needs his mic turned up. You can tell he sounds good but you can barely hear him.
Collective Soul is a band that still really enjoys performing for their audience. The love and joy within the band emanates outward and people feel it. If it’s someone’s first time going to see the band, they’re surprised at the number of great songs they recall. Ed Roland, the lead singer, is comfortable and fun up there and it’s infectious. I go to many different concerts, but I never miss this band when they are in my town and they never disappoint. The concert at Palms in Vegas on January 20 was no exception. They are still putting out solid tunes with meaningful lyrics that have carried me through many times in my life. So if you’re reading this Ed and the guys, thank you so very much!
I have now seen Collective Soul 2 times live at the Pearl. Although I was a fan in the 90's (I had not seen them live) what brought me back current day, was their abilty to create an environment of great music, awesome musicianship, great sing along lyrics, and an all around great vibe. Best part? The venue is personal and the sound is great with the price point that makes it an easy choice.
This was a fantastic event. Every member of Collective Soul was spot on with their performance. They played the songs we were expecting. Ed Roland really engaged the crowd. Jessie Triplett and Johnny Rabb had some excellent solos. The venue (Pearl Theater in Palms Casino) was a great. This concert exceeded our expectations!
The show was an absolute blast from start to finish. The Palms was rocking as the band played hit after hit, keeping everyone on their feet. I was thoroughly impressed with their new music, which held up just as well as their beloved classics. Every minute of the performance was pure joy, and I couldn't get enough of their incredible songs.
I hadn't seen these guys perform since 2002 but they were still awesome! Lead singer Ed Roland has not lost any bit of his vocal ability and Jesse Triplet was amazing on guitar. The venue (Pearl Theatre at the Palms) was smallish and intimate. I sat (stood) in the middle of the orchestra section and it was a bit challenging to see at times. It would have helped to have a stage riser since the floor in this area is not sloped. Next time I will try for the seats in the section behind that are a little elevated. Acoustics were good but not great. As with so many concerts its impossible to pick up any decent vocal annunciation of the lyrics. I'm not sure if thats an issue with the artist or the sound engineer but at least in this case I already knew most of the lyrics that were otherwise not discernible. I would go see them again.
They just got up on stage and sang the shxt out of their stuff. Couple of new songs, but mostly the classics. No big lights. No pyrotechnics. Just Roland being Roland. Excellent finish to the show.
I was sooooo excited to see Collective Soul in such a wonderful venue. I knew I loved their music, but I was totally unprepared for how amazing they still were. Not only do they still have it after 30 years, but they have MASTERED their craft and are BETTER THAN EVER!!! This live show blew away their recorded music (which I still also love). The interaction with the audience, and the heartfelt emotion exuded by CS, was magical. They shredded it and transcended the mere concert experience. Their new music was fabulous, as well as a couple of covers they performed, and rounded out the experience. I would LOVE to hear the full version of Dirty Deeds... they tested on us before heading to NZ. The sample we got was phenomenal! I so hope they play in my area again. I've been to many concerts, but CS has been my #1 so far. No lie, my heart is swelling as I write this!!!
Was a little disappointed they didn't play a couple of the hits, such as "Simple".
Collective Soul never disappoints! First time seeing them at the Palms in Vegas. Great Venue! By the looks - not a bad seat in the house. We were 5 row, it was amazing. If you get a chance to see Collective Soul --- Don't pass it up! Their interaction with the crowd is awesome!
Loved the concert. They still have the juice 30 years latter. It was a great experience to listen to these guys at Legends Casino. Not a bad seat in the house.
Great show! These guys are still rock'n after 30 years! Sound was perfect and the venue was good. Glad a band of this caliber was able to stop in our area.
