Great seeing Jim Messina again after all these years. Great venue for a concert like this. Messina and the band sounded great, music was tight, his voice was amazingly good sounds the same as 30 years ago. Respect!
Jimmy's current band is as good as it gets. Music was mixed well. The set was great for me since I am a huge Loggins and Messina fan. This was my first time seeing Jimmy solo and there was absolutely no disappointments. I have heard a lot of bad things about Ponte Vedra Concert hall, but I found it intimate and accommodating. I can see where it might be a little stuffy with a full crowd, and sitting in the middle could be a night mare. All in all, the only down part of the concert was there was enough of a crowd to get him to do a second encore. A shame---
Jim Messina and all his band mates blew us away with their talent! The venue was great… Felt like an intimate experience… My first time at Ponte Vedra concert Hall. The only negative thing was it was a little hot in there...Even though I was dressed properly
Played all of the L&M favorites & album non-radio greats. Excellent band. Very personable to meet & great after the concert.
This was the best concert my husband and I have been to in a long time. The musicians were mind blowing. And the music brought back so many memories of the 70’s. 👏☺️
Just saw Jimmy Messina. He & his band were AWESOME!! The show was in a small venue, Ponte Vedra, and it was as loud as if it was in an arena! I had to cover my years several times. I’m not whining, just stating that it was too loud for a small venue!
We had a wonderful dinner there at Humphreys restaurant. After dinner we were escorted over to Humphrys backstage. it was close to the restaurant, we had VIP Seating we where less than 20 feet away from the stage. Jim Messina he played for an hour and a half. beautiful music That we all enjoyed and love. After the concert Mr. messina signed autographs and took pictures with anybody that wanted too. He was very personable and polite and genuine . Great time!!
As usual, Messina and the band were on their mark. Flawless performances surrounding the hits masterminded by Jim Messina. These guys just get better with time. The wine just gets better, in a brand new bottle....................
Jimmy is one of the most talented musicians in my lifetime. Very surprised he did so much L&M but loved it. I had actually been listening to his solo album Oasis and was hoping for something off that but still got a great show. Thanks again for the great memorable music. Be Free is probably one of my favorite songs!

Jim Messina and band were a 5 star performance! The set list covered quite a range of years and was extremely well received by all in the room.
Wonderful walk up to the stagw access for photos of the band. Small, intimate venue. Great that the star signed autographs after the show!! This is important!! The reason we pay so much for a small venue is to interact with the performer. $45 for 1 hr 15 minutes is not cheap! And the food is pricey for what you get. Bit the freedom to walk up near the stage and take photos makes it worth it.
I have seen Jim Messina a few times, mainly when he was with Kenny Loggins. He still sounds great. The bad news is that they only played for an hour. I don't feel like I got my money's worth.
We couldn’t believe Jim Messina was playing in such a small venue and we scored last minute tickets. He sounded great and the band was awesome! Great venue, very intimate. Highly recommend
First time at this venue. Not a bad seat in the place! The service was way better than expected. The best part was the sound, it was the best I have ever heard! Very very cool, not loud but very comfortable. Oh ya Mr. Messina and his fellow musicians were the BOMB!! I have been to many concerts and I put this one in the top 3. Thanks again for wonderful evening.
Jim put on a great show and his band was fantastic as well. Go see him!
From the attention to details from the theater to the wonderful music Jim Messina provides, it was well worth the ticket price.
Jim Messina and his band presented a wonderful set that was representative of the various projects of his long career. His band was as good as any that I have seen in the 45 years I have followed, and his playing and singing are excellent. The song choice and pace of the show was great and felt very generous. The sound at the Uptown Theater for this show was excellent - comfortably loud, but everything was clear and distinct, from whispers to crescendo and the sound people really deserve some praise for their skills. I hope that this concert (any show on this tour) can be recorded for later release. Thanks for a great and memorable show! (I shoulda bought a tee-shirt!)
Excellent venue and hosts. The band was tight as ever. They never disappoint! Go see Jim if you ever have the chance. Truly a class act.
Jim Messina really knows how to deliver a rich experience. He brought with him a fabulous real-deal experienced band that rocked us right out of our seats. We have enjoyed many concerts at the Uptown with legendary performers. But they have often been spare on the backup. Jim Messina brought the whole band and rocked our world for the entire show. Your mama may not dance but wow, we all sure enjoyed the rock’n roll! Thank you, Jim Messina, for one hell of a great show.
