This production was absolutely amazing. I was ambivalent at first because I wasn’t sure it could be reinvented on stage the way it needed to be-BUT BABYYYY!!!!!! When I say it was an amazing play to watch unfold and Treach had Wesley’s role down to a T!!! The entire cast worked really hard on this and it showed!! If you’re thinking about it and it’s coming near you, DO IT!!!! It was a memorable time for sure!
The Play: New Jack City was Good, Great, Da Bomb Diggity, Well Done. It was better than the movie. Excellent job Mr. J. Johnson, please come back soon to Miami. KUDOS!!!

This play was great. All the actors did a fantastic job with bringing each character to life in a live form. So sad it was the very last show as I wanted to take my mom to see it.

Some of the acting was not good however the mirror of the movie was on point .. pokey character was the best

Enjoyed NewJackCity the Play! Watched the movie as a kid and the cast brought it all back to life, with some extra twist!

It was something different. Like most things starting out I waited for it to get better as the play went on. For the price of tickets I was highly disappointed, and discouraged from going to another one produced by this production. Treach overall was the best. He was clear and showed passion playing his part. The singers, some better than others. Overall it was OKAY.
New Jack City stage play was great. It was just like the movie
Everything was excellent, only complaint I have is the seating in front of stage. We paid good money for these seats, but they were fold out chairs with a thick seat for your bottom but placed to close together with other chairs and because they were latched together you couldn't make adjustments. They also should have been better staggered so we were not looking at the person in front of us back of head.
This play was made from one of my favorite movies!! New Jack City is a classic!! It was awesomely made. The actors were on point. I enjoyed this play so much!! Do Boys in the hood next!!! Make sure to keep Jacksonville, Fl on upcoming show list. I will be front row.
The show was very good, it made a great date night out. Jacksonville should encourage more shows of this caliber to come here I'm sure they would be appreciated and supported.
I wasn't expecting much due to mixed reviews but the show was excellent! Sound was good actors were on point with the movie scenes I really enjoyed myself!
The show was great, the cast not only did the movie justice but the additions to the story gave more to what was already a great story.
