Pouring her heart into her pies, she crafts desserts that mirror her topsy-turvy life such as "The Key (Lime) to Happiness Pie" and "Betrayed By My Eggs Pie." When a baking contest in a nearby county —and a satisfying encounter with someone new —show Jenna a chance at a fresh start, she must find the courage to seize it. Change is on the menu, as long as Jenna can write her own perfectly personal recipe for happiness.

Fun, happy, hilarious. Great set. Good script. Music and lyrics outstanding.
This was an absolutely outstanding show-great music and amazing performances. We were nervous because we bought limited view tickets in the dress circle for $24.50 each but this is probably the best kept secret at the Cadillac Palace Theater! We had no trouble seeing and had a wonderful time.
The singing was superb, especially that of the lead role, Jenna. A heartwarming story.
My husband liked "Waitress" more than I did. The solo performances were very good. The combination voices, not so much. Too much cacophony, making the words unintelligable. Even the lead 's voice became shrill at times. I especially liked the Oklahoma character. He was crisp and funny in his movements and delivery of his lines. Perhaps it was because the doctor character was a stand-in, there were too many empty pauses, waiting for his lines. Otherwise, I liked him. There were children in the audience. People should be warned about the adult theme of the show. Over all I enjoyed the play and thought that selling pie to the audience was a nice touch, though pricey.
It was funny, emotional and a wonderful musical. If you think because you saw the movie, you are good. Couldn't be more wrong, you're missing a lot by not attending this piece of art. I love how it's very different from the movie yet the same. Of course the same plot but the other details and conversations what made it worth it
Loved the story, music and set design!! With the exception of a couple of comic-relief type characters, the characters were "real". Loved that the theatre had a ladies room attendant to move things along-makes a big difference. Cadillac Palace is gorgeous!
Before going, I knew nothing other than the title of this musical and the fact that it had been getting great reviews. I am glad that I didn't know the story. It made the details much more shocking and fun. The voices were great and I enjoyed Sara Bareilles songs. A couple were catchy enough that I found myself almost singing along, at least in my mid. I even loved when they booed the bad-guy actor after the finale, during the curtain call. Go see it!
This show was Awsome, the story was great , so was the music and singing. had a wonderful ime with my granddaughters.
Waitress the musical is not to be missed! It was a fabulous production! All the performers bought into their characters to make for a great show!
Waitress was absolutely amazing. 10/10 would see again
The voices were a pure delight. Very entertaining and funny.
Great show! Terrific casting, wonderful music and staging. Highly recommended.
Great play. I would highly recommend this to everyone. Music was spectacular and the acting the best I have seen this year!
Pleasant little show with interesting staging, good voices, forgettable songs.
The play was an enjoyable fun play. The music was music that u would want to hear again. The actors were funny but yet sensitive. Just a great play.
Everything about it was awesome from start to finish. The girl who played Jenna was sick and the understudy who filled in was fantastic! She didn't miss a beat!
The ensemble, the leads, the story, the songs were all fabulous! Bring your hanky! Our seats were decent, but luck wasn’t completely on our side due to the giants who bought the seats in front of us, lol!
My boyfriend and I made it into the show at the knick of time. The staff helped us to our seats and as soon as we sat down the show began. The cast, musicians, and the overall show was just absolutely amazing. I would recommend this show to anyone that enjoys a good rom-com.
Loved this show! Could definitely see it again! The music was awesome as well!
The story of this musical really touched me. I enjoyed the music and was entertained the entire time. I will say the lead's southern accent wasn't the greatest, but that's not a huge deal. Go see it if you can!
