Great
by Dkce@Youtube on 1/27/24Nice it wasn't sold out. That way we had room to dance. A different way to watch the nut cracker. Definitely out of my confert zone. Snow was a shock to see. Nicely priced. And venue was beautiful.

I really liked Kurtis Blow starting the show off, that was fire. I thought hip hop music was going to be played while the dancers danced, would have loved to see that. But all i all i did enjoy it all. Thanks
Violinist was great! Venue ushers "ran out"of programs in our seating area so if you didn't know the Nutcracker story, production didn't make much sense. Lots of energy at the beginning and at the end.
The opening was great. It was hard to wrap my head around hip hop dancing to the original score of the nutcracker. I was under the impression the music would be changed to accommodate the dance genré. The talent of the dancers was amazing. I can’t imagine dancing hip hop to a classical song, the concentration must’ve been difficult. That’s being said, I can check my box for this show. No need to see again.
Underground parking. Excellent. Security. Excellent. Clientele movement. Poor. Had to use stairway due to insufficient elevators. Auditorium seats. Good. Rows on steps for better viewing. Acoustics. Very good. Entertainment. Very good. Summary. Very good experience. Would consider going again.
This was my first time seeing The Hip Hop Nutcracker. It was very exciting and entertaining. Looking forward to seeing it again the next time it comes to Norfolk, Va.
My 13 year old grandson was intrigued from the moment we arrived to our seats! He asked to see it again next year and we hadn't even go to intermission.
My friend and I had a wonderful time at the Hip-hop Nutcracker show. The check in process was the only snag I ran into at the door with the lady scanning my ticket. The show was absolutely amazing. Curtis' opening and the DJ was just steller! The choreography and the twist on this classic was done beautifully. I intend on returning year after year and when I have kids of my own, I'll take them along as well. This show was definitely worth it and I would highly recommend to friend, family, and colleagues.
It’s was a great mixture of hip hop culture meeting the original style of a typical nutcracker event. Perfected nicely
Such a good time and worth it. Wish they would’ve stay for more than 1 day…would’ve seen it twice. Took my 7 year old girl and we had a blast. Tons of kids there although it felt like Saturday night adult night at church watch service! The preshow was a party and the dancing just wild and great…especially for 50 years of hip hop. Diverse crowd too but definitely great. Good price tickets and well worth it.
