About

ALADDIN, one of Broadway's most extravagant spectacles, is on tour in a production that’s dazzling audiences across North America. Like the hit musical comedy that opened at Broadway's New Amsterdam Theatre in 2014 — and broke 14 New Amsterdam box-office records — ALADDIN’s touring production has been a runaway smash. Since launching its second national tour in October 2022, the touring production has perfectly embodied the Broadway show’s eye-popping illusions, glittering-gold costumes and stargazing rendition of “A Whole New World.” With music by Academy Award-winner Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, and costuming by Tony Award-winner Gregg Barnes, ALADDIN is “Exactly What You Wish For!” (NBC-TV).

    Fabulous evening!

by Stormy on 1/31/24BJCC Concert Hall - Birmingham

Aladdin was fabulous! The Genie stole the show, but the costumes, songs and choreography were incredible! Nicole Lamb was awesome in her debut appearance as Jasmine. The staff at the BJCC is always helpful and polite in facilitating quick entry into the theater and helping us find our seats prior to the show beginning.

We attended the Aladdin Broadway musical in Birmingham this past Saturday, and the show was fabulous!! The music, and the choreography along with all of the costumes were just amazing. we are so glad that we were able to attend this beautiful Broadway show. The man who played the genie was a genius, and all of the characters in the show were on point.

by Zhaphyre on 1/30/24BJCC Concert Hall - Birmingham

Aladdin is my favorite movie of all time, so when I went to NYC and saw it was on broadway I almost went. But the prices were out of my range. But this show? The cast. The crew. The music. The atmosphere. Top notch. It was the best show I’ve ever seen in my life. 12/10 would see it again.

by Linda on 1/28/24BJCC Concert Hall - Birmingham

This production of "Aladdin"was one of the best productions that has been presented by the Birmingham Broadway Series. Everyone in the cast was strong, talented and, of course, Genie stole the show; Marcus Martin is extraordinarily talented.

    Grandkids Loved It!

by Sam G on 1/28/24BJCC Concert Hall - Birmingham

My wife and I took seven of our grandkids to the show. They were mesmerized from beginning to end and we made memories with them that will last a lifetime. This was our 2023 Christmas present to them and the countdown to the big event just built their anticipation of the night. We could not have been more happy with the outcome. Great job, everyone!

    Just ok

by JB26 on 1/28/24BJCC Concert Hall - Birmingham

Disney definitely make this show sparkle much. The cast was weak, particularly Jasmine. If it wasn’t for the Genie this would have been a complete disappointment. Don’t expect the glitz and glam of the other Disney musicals, this one was clearly a low budget show.

    Awesome

by Jami on 1/28/24BJCC Concert Hall - Birmingham

It was a great show. The costumes and sets were very beautiful and cool. Genie was by far the best and most entertaining and Jafar did a great job as well! Overall a great show.
