BEAUTIFUL tells the inspiring true story of King’s remarkable rise to stardom, from being part of a hit songwriting team with her husband Gerry Goffin, to her relationship with fellow writers and best friends Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann, to becoming one of the most successful solo acts in popular music history. Along the way, she made more than BEAUTIFUL music, she wrote the soundtrack to a generation.
Great experience. Fabulous venue. My knees actually fit without hitting the seat in front of me. Praying for community support to keep the entertainment and education coming.

Tanger Center was worth the build. Beautiful is worth the ticket even if you are not familiar with Carole King
I purchased tickets for my two sisters and me to attend BEAUTIFUL: The Carole King Musical -- what a wonderful night of music! It was fun to walk down memory lane filled with fabulous tunes! The cast was PACKED with talent! FABULOUS!!!

Started 10 minutes late but the show still went on. I am grateful.
Unfortunately we chose not to attend due to the current virus threat that our world is facing. We are huge Carol King music fans and were saddened by the need to make this choice. We are praying for all to use wisdom and to be blessed with good health.
Everything about this evening was magical. The music took me back to my youth and filled me with joy and memories. The acting was great and I learned things about Carol King’s life I never knew. The experience will revisit my mind often.
The music - her music - was superb and well performed... The singing was very close to Carole - excellent job! The storyline appears to be very close to her real life - and that's appreciated. The actors did a fine portrayal. When we attended in New Orleans a couple years ago, it seemed they actually played the instruments as well as singing; this time it appears only the singing was real - but a minor distraction that only a music afficiando would notice. HIGHLY RECOMMEND even for the casual Carole King fan - she is one of the true great composers for both music AND lyrics - in the league of Neil Sedaka - another favorite!
This is everything a musical should be - touching, funny and amazing music - definitely on my list to see again!

I dreamed of a Carole King musical before there was a Broadway Show. I fulfilled my dream and so much more. The show was rich in Beautiful Music, laughter, tears, joy, and sadness, triumph, and empowerment. Thank you and thank you Carole King for sharing your talent and life.
Talented and eager cast, full of energy hosted at a worthy venue! We’ve seen it twice, once on Broadway and Lafayette performance was just as good!
We were looking forward to this because we enjoyed the original on Broadway do much. Unfortunately this performance lacked. The voices just were not there. I have no way of knowing but it seemed physical appearance took precedent over singing talent. Disappointed.
My first time to use the mobile tickets. Went down slick as boiled okra. I wish Thalia Mara parking were as slick as the Ticketmaster ticketing process. Thanks for the positive experience (except for the parking garage). Maybe Thalia Mara could offer an "after party" ticket option that would meter the crowd exit instead of a mad rush for the garage.
I would highly recommend this show. Love Carole King! The lady who plays the part of Carole King is an extremely talented singer.
Second time to see this musical. Did. Or know Carole wrote for so many different people. She is a lady of GREAT talent, filled with love.
