LSD is super talented, creative, a great musical experience
The Louisville Palace - Louisville
Every member of the group contributed to the sound in unique and exciting ways. The instruments, harmony, element of surprise all built around Rachel's amazing voice and stage presence. I am looking forward to seeing them again!

Not the same
The Louisville Palace - Louisville
I know bands evolve and get less hungry- the great ones don’t. I’ve seen them 6 times over the last 10 years. I was happy to hear Doctor which hasn’t been played in a while but there are too many songs when members are taking off- not what I’m used to. I know everyone must be fed but not at the expense of the whole.

Great music, no leg room
The Louisville Palace - Louisville
Venue is beautiful. Music was wonderful. Unfortunately, the sears were not. We were back row of balcony 2. View of the stage was great. Leg room was not. The way the venue is besieged the seats in the middle of the back row get pushed forward closer to the row in front, creating a very uncomfortable seating experience. Every row in front of us had significantly more leg room. Had I any indication of the smaller seats, I would have selected another row, but none was given.

Very Personal to the public
Alabama Theatre - Birmingham
We were on the end of our seats as they spread out on the stage, and then huddle cack together on the mini stage. Loved every minute of it.

Great band, venue, audience..
Alabama Theatre - Birmingham
A week ago I was whining about Birmingham Alabama music fans after experiencing too much loud talking from the audience during the My Morning Jacket Show at the same venue. At this show, the audience was silent (except for a few cheers and hoots, all appropriate) and in rapt attention and awe at the amazing performance. Great to be part of the audience experiencing the delightful and and talented artistic performance.
Bio
LAKE STREET DIVE:
Hailed by Rolling Stone as the year's "best new band" upon the 2014 release of album Bad Self Portraits, Lake Street Dive have made a big impression with their creative brand of soul pop. Anchored by the honey-toned vocals of conservatory-trained frontwoman Rachel Price, the band's breezy, indie-inflected tunes are nothing if not confident, reflecting the training and virtuoso musicianship of the band's talented members. Lake Street Dive impressed the pants off of Ellen Degeneres performing live on her show in 2014, building excitement among fans for their upcoming tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Formed in 2004 by a group of students at Boston's New England Conservatory of Music, Lake Street Dive started out as a country act before settling on the jazz-inspired soul pop they're known for today. They self-released their 2006 debut album In This Episode... with the winnings they took home from the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, self-releasing sophomore album Promises, Promises the following year. In 2010, they signed with Signature Sounds Recordings for their self-titled third album, a strong collection of songs that hinted at the heaps of praise their sixth album Bad Self Portraits would receive upon its early-2014 release.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
