    LIFE CHANGING!

by Andie on 6/14/19Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

I have loved Pete Holmes for years from his podcast and was excited to hear his ideas live in person and was expecting to be a little let down because I had high expectation. However, seeing him talk about the meaning of life and everything was magical! He was so passionate about what he was saying that I got emotional at times. I relate to his story so much and I am so thankful he is doing what he is doing. I am so so grateful for his realness and that he is talking about spirituality while also laughing at it and making jokes. I want everyone to listen to his podcast and be changed by his ideas but I also know that everyone has a different path.

    Great night

    internal experience 10/10

by K. L. on 6/14/19Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

such a beautiful and patient human !!! had the best experience listening and laughing from the balcony, looking at/thinking about everyone in the full room and what they might be thinking. The dissonance of enjoying that simplicity while dropping nearly $100 on a ticket, transportation, and drinks did dilute the potency a little though - plus the obnoxious drunk girl next to me that just could not stop trying to be seen/heard by Pete and her entire table.

Bookie Bookie Sweet Like a Cookie

by Facey McFaceface on 5/21/19WBUR CitySpace - Boston

Pete and Amory were great in conversation together and it was awesome to hear one of my comedy favorites speaking in a beautifully redesigned venue that capitalized on the combination of both (personal) space and intimacy with the performers.

    Essential spiritual journey

    by I. on 5/21/19WBUR CitySpace - Boston

Pete Holmes is not only a comedy dad to many but also a profound spiritual person. The book covers many different topics and themes but in his talk he focuses mainly on the “God” section. By the end I felt enlightened and ready to take my own spiritual quest. He’s funny, thoughtful, and the best guy to have at a BBQ

    Artie Lange never showed up

by Bill1984 on 2/27/17Herbst Theatre - San Francisco

I paid $45 mostly to see Artie Lange to do stand up. He never showed up. Instead Judd Apatow was on for 1.5 hrs. Disappointing.

    Hilarious!

by Pixwil on 2/26/17Herbst Theatre - San Francisco

I love Judd Apatow's work, so when I learned he was starting to do stand-up again, I vowed to see a show, if possible. I bought tickets even though I wasn't familiar Pete Holmes and Artie Lange. So impressed by Pete Holmes! Judd was awesome. Artie Lange couldn't make it. And great to experience the biting comedy of Beth Stelling, comedian and writer for the Crashing TV series.

    Hysterical Show

by Engels on 2/25/17Herbst Theatre - San Francisco

This was a great show in a fabulous setting. All the comics were great, but Judd Apatow had to do 2 sets because Artie Lange didn't show up. Judd Apatow was the best of all three and it's no surprise he is so popular. Great show I would recommend it to everyone.

    Where's Artie?

by Anonymous on 2/25/17Herbst Theatre - San Francisco

Artie Lange canceled at the last second. No refunds offered. He was arguably the biggest draw of the three. Judd Apatow spent his set name dropping and telling us how much money he makes. Pete Holmes did his best to bring the laughs but it was too late.

    Great Show

by EPPCK on 12/12/14Paradise Rock Club - Boston

This was the third year in a row that I've seen Pete at the Paradise. The second year he did a lot of the same material as the first, but this year he switched in a lot of different material. Great show, looking forward to going again next year!

Pete Holmes Makes it All Better~

by HenrySchles on 12/9/14U of I Main Lounge - Iowa City

I'd heard of Pete Holmes and seen him on TV, but had no idea the impact this guy has on a crowd. As a standup comic, Pete is original, really one of a kind, and a burst of positive energy. His smile and laugh are as contagious as the material I found myself repeating after the show... I see A LOT of standup, and rarely to people leap to their feet the way they (we) did at the end of his show.

Pete Holmes is a Perfect Human

by jrichardson256 on 12/2/14Paradise Rock Club - Boston

Pete is an amazing comedian, and an amazing person. After a killer show he stayed and gave every single one of his fans a hug. A man with tattoos completely fan-girled over him, and another woman cried when she hugged him. How many comedians can you say that about?!

Pete Holmes - weird AND wonderful

by msw117 on 7/16/14Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

Pete's comedy set was even better than the opening monologues from the show, although those were slightly different - a bit more philosophical. His humor appeals to a wider audience that most comics because he mostly addresses the human condition, not just the woes and joys of his age/ gender/ class, etc. Plus, he does voices!

Pete is one of the most entertaining comics working today! And this show only helped prove it.
