    Not worthy

    by L. W. on 11/22/22Paramount Theatre-Oakland - Oakland

For the show in Oakland, CA. Amy looked bored, lots of pauses like she was unprepared and didn't practice her material. It was her just talking about boring stuff and personal life. I wasn't in the balcony and had a difficult time seeing her figure, she was dressed in grey and the black background didn't help. Don't waste your time on money!!

    Wah-Wah

    by L. W. on 11/22/22Paramount Theatre-Oakland - Oakland

The show was just 45min, Amy spoke like she was tired, jokes were not that good. It was like she was just narrating parts of her life, the comedy show didn't had a good story line or solid transitions. Lots of breaks, umm, haa, humm, like she had trouble remembering what she wanted to say. The place was beautiful, but again she dressed in gray, with a dark background, so she got lost in the big space. I wasn't even in the balcony and had trouble seeing her. It would have been great if they had like a giant screen in her back to see her face and her reactions when telling tidbits about her life. I left highly disappointing on how the show went overall. For the price of the tickets, not worth the investment.

    Decent Performance. Weird Energy.

    by Friedoxygen on 11/22/22Paramount Theatre-Oakland - Oakland

First the good- Amy Schumer was excellent. Was it her best set ever? No. But she is as sharp as ever and resting very comfortably as a more conscious comic. She knows to punch up instead of down now. And the one bit that *could* have gone awry- an excellent bit about a blind dinner host- was probably the shining moment of a very good show. The bad- Comedy with a mask on is weird. I know it wasn't "required," but, seriously, who in their right mind would join 2,000 other people in a nearly 100 year old theater, laughing and drinking during a surge of three different deadly viruses and not be masked. Also, although the venue did forewarn people MANY times that the lines would be long and to get there early, that's still not always possible. Throughout both openers there was a steady stream if people coming in, distracting from the opening acts and making it really hard for either of them to really get a footing with the crowd. The biggest delay was from the folks locking up phones. It would have been MUCH better if someone went down the line and bagged up phones while we were waiting to get in. Pair them up with a ticket scanner that put a sticker on the phone with the seat locations. It would've saved SO MUCH TIME. We arrived about 20 minutes before showtime, which was late, I will admit. But we didn't get in until 30 minutes after showtime. Even if everyone showed up at once, it shouldn't take 50 minutes to get the entire crowd in the door.

    Great show; ridiculous cost

by Renee C on 11/21/22The Masonic - San Francisco

Amy was fabulous, but when is the price gauging going to stop? $250 for a 60 minute show?! You should be ashamed.

    Disappointing

I could just rewatch the opening of SNL instead of paying over $1200.00.

    Printing of the tickets

by DHall on 11/15/22The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

GoodNESS! A little more heads up if you need to print the tickets. When you travel and stay at a hotel not as easy to print. An option to scan your phone would have been so helpful. Luckily we were in the elevator in the hotel when I was told! Be better Ticketmaster!

She did all the same jokes as SNL the week before. Way to expensive for a repeat performance!

    Waste of time

by Anonymous on 11/15/22The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

What a rip off .Amy Schumer seemed completely bored and gave the impression that she really did not want to be at her own show. Seemed like alot of random stuff. Had to lock up our phones, but definitely nothing worth recording. Tickets were not cheap either. Saved along time to sit in front row. A birthday present for my wife. A big disappointment. Nothing funny here.

    Boring. Not funny.

by Disappointed fan on 11/15/22The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

You could tell she did not want to be there. Old material. Only one joke made the entire place giggle. Opening acts were better but still not good

    Device locking process

by JPB on 11/15/22The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

The show was great however I was caught off guard about the device locking requirement to attend. Better communication in that would be recommended. Also, it was just a mass of people all confused about where to go, lines to stand in, what to do if you only had digital tickets, etc. Better organization outside of the theater would be recommended as well.

Very average show she was using material from other Netflix shows and looked like she crawled out of bed for $180 nor worth seeing her live again her show on Hulu was much better and it looks like she showered.

Amy Schumer, Mia Jackson, Jaye McBride

    by K. J. on 11/13/22Orpheum Theater - Madison

The show itself was fantastic. Trying to get into the venue, get a $5 bottle of water, use the restroom and get to seats was horrible. Bottled water should be free and should be available at a different location than the alcoholic chaos. Recovering alcoholics don't have a chance.

    Meh

by Wyward on 11/13/22Orpheum Theater - Madison

Not sure who set the policy to have everyone lock up their cellphones, but Amy is no Joan Rivers, talent wise. Orphium is a beautiful historic venue and I wanted to get a few pictures inside, but no. Her opener comedian was much funnier than Amy was.

    Venue is awful

by KatB on 11/13/22Orpheum Theater - Madison

First time at this venue. Wont return. Bathrooms look original..GREAT NEED OF UPDATING. Better signage needed to direct people to seating areas, especially in balcony. Lighting was horrible on stairs to balcony. So dark. Better signage needed to alert people od additional bars. Everyone crowded the first bar they came across. Seating is tight. Im 5'2" and my knees touched the seatback in front of me. Yikes, I'd hate to be a taller person. Also, seats are made for a size Large, no bigger. Anyone larger is going to be uncomfortable and so will the person sitting next to them.
