    Amy!!!

by Charmbuster on 12/6/22San Jose Civic - San Jose

Amy was extremely funny. We had a great time. The venue was small and at first it was difficult to hear the comics. Amy came out and told them to turn up the volume. It could have been louder but we did hear her.

    Untalented

    by J. F. on 11/29/22

She is not a real comedian. She is truly unfunny and is shamelessly capitalizing on the comedy medium for her own gain. All without offering original material with substance. She’s a hack with no charisma.

    Meh

by Jaybs on 11/23/22Humphreys Concerts By the Bay - San Diego

I’ve seen all of her stand up specials and this was nothing like those. She was still Amy, but in my opinion she wasn’t as engaged. Seemed a bit burned out, or tired. We still enjoyed the show, but not quite worth the effort and cost.

    One big huge yawn

    by Mic on 11/23/22Paramount Theatre-Oakland - Oakland

Let’s face it… Amy just didn’t want to be there. Show was short drab uneventful and full of a variety of jokes we’ve already heard before. Unprepared, and not even a bit enthusiastic, like she was putting in the time… But just didn’t have the time for us. Wish I could get my money back… When I say was bad it was that bad!

    Sadly Didn't Love it

    by Nina on 11/23/22Paramount Theatre-Oakland - Oakland

I'm a huge fan. Maybe my expectations were too high. Mostly dissapointed that I saw at least 25% of the material on Saturday Night Live just a week or so ago. I would have thought she'd have different material for a show that we have to pay for then what she did for everyone for free on National TV. Opening act was pretty funny but sadly, based on that show, I would likely not go see her live again. Also the venue seemed to have issues seating people. It felt like people were getting up and moving around a lot during the show and coming in late and all kinds of commotion. It was distracting.

    Very disappointed

by San Diego on 11/23/22Humphreys Concerts By the Bay - San Diego

I had high expectations for this show and was very disappointed. Amy still talks about her pregnancy and uterus. The show was very short and not funny.

Amy Schumer at Humphreys Concerts By the Bay

by Vanessa on 11/23/22Humphreys Concerts By the Bay - San Diego

Amy Schumer was amazing as always. She's funny, she's down to earth, and always entertaining. As for the venue, I forgot how close the chairs are together and they squeeze you in there like sardines. It's not very comfortable, which sucks because the venue is nice and intimate. So I give 5 stars for Amy, but only 3 stars for the venue.

    Awesome from start to finish

by AJ on 11/23/22Humphreys Concerts By the Bay - San Diego

It has been a few years since I have seen a do stand up, so we had no idea what to expect. Well, she did not disappoint. It was nonstop. Laughs from beginning to end. This girl is definitely on her game. Enjoy the show if you have the opportunity to see her.

I spent more time on BART than Amy Schumer performance

    by Boot_man on 11/23/22Paramount Theatre-Oakland - Oakland

She was literally on stage for 45 minutes. I spent over $300 on tickets and more for parking and transportation for that. I expected a little more. Very disappointing.

    Soundman Sabotage

    by Jimbo on 11/22/22Paramount Theatre-Oakland - Oakland

I was in the balcony and the opening acts were unintelligible because of the too loud, booming amplification. We could hear laughter below but couldn’t make out what was said. Amy faired a little better, but too much was lost in the muddled sound

    Fabulous show!

    by Ace on 11/22/22Paramount Theatre-Oakland - Oakland

Amy was hysterical and female centric. Her two openers were great as well. Loved the venue and laughed all night.

    Yondr and Repeated Jokes

    by SFgirl on 11/22/22Paramount Theatre-Oakland - Oakland

The Yondr phone free experience was a disaster. Check in took forever and they had Yondr employees checking the digital tickets and writing down people's seats on post its. There were so many mistakes and with everyone's phone locked up, no one could check the actual location of their seat. I was disappointed that Amy S. did the same jokes in her SNL monologue. I felt like I was watching a repeat performance. If she was so concerned about someone videotaping her show then why do a televised monologue with the same jokes? I love Amy and would have given. this 5 starts but for the Yondr experience and the SNL monologue.

    Good Material - Horrible Audio!

    by J. M. on 11/22/22Paramount Theatre-Oakland - Oakland

The opening acts for Oakland (Jaye McBride & Mia Jackson) suffered due to poor sound engineering. Half the speakers were off, so unless you were immediately in front of the performer or stage right, you couldnt hear most of their material (and we were in row 12). They figured it out before Amy came on, but even after all speakers were working, the audio was dull and hard to hear Amy when she was talking under her voice. Disappointing as this was our first time seeing her in-person.

    Good not great

    by Kk on 11/22/22Paramount Theatre-Oakland - Oakland

Amy Schumer is really funny and I love her comedy. She just did mostly the same material from Saturday Night Live. She didn’t seem to be on stage for that long and her act seemed a little phoned in this time

    Very short set

    by J. S. on 11/22/22Paramount Theatre-Oakland - Oakland

Amy Shumer was smart and funny but I was shocked when the set ended. The whole show, including two very funny comedians in addition to 45 minutes by Shumer, lasted maybe 90 minutes. Paid a lot of money for the tickets and I don’t think we got our money's worth.

    Amazing show- poor experience

    by Jackie on 11/22/22Paramount Theatre-Oakland - Oakland

Amy Schumer was amazing- The staff at the Paramount theatre- not as much. We were seated in the wrong section - then interrupted 2/3 through the show to be re-seated in our appropriate seats (which were actually much better) - so we paid for great seats- were seated in okay seats and then interrupted during the show to move. We were compensated with two drinks - if we come to another show at the Paramount in the future because they had already closed the beverage cart by this time. WHAT??
