As one of today's premiere stand-up comedians, Jo Koy has come a long way from his modest beginnings performing in a Las Vegas coffee house. Jo's uniquely relatable comedy pulls inspiration from his colorful family that has reached all kinds of people and has translated into sold-out arenas around the world.
In 2022, Koy kicked off his Funny Is Funny World Tour by selling-out the Climate Pledge Arena (over 14,000 tickets) in his hometown of Seattle and ended the tour with a sold-out show at Tacoma Dome (over 19,000 tickets). Today, he continues breaking sales records at some of the most prestigious venues around the world including Mall of Asia Arena (Manila, PH), The Forum (Los Angeles), Coca-Cola Arena (Dubai), ICC Theatre (Sydney, AU), Radio City Music Hall (New York City), and FTX Arena (Miami) to name a few. This past November, Koy sold-out Madison Square Garden for the first time marking another milestone for the comedian. In 2017, Koy broke a record for the most tickets sold by a single artist at 23,000 tickets and 11 sold-out shows at The Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall in Honolulu. In response, the mayor's office in Honolulu proclaimed November 24th as "Jo Koy Day."
Koy recently starred in the Universal Picture film Easter Sunday, set around a family gathering to celebrate Easter Sunday, the comedy is based on Jo Koy's life experiences and stand-up comedy. Easter Sunday is currently available on Blu-ray, DVD and on-demand.
His highly anticipated 4th Netflix stand-up special, Live From The Los Angeles Forum premiered globally on September 2022. The special is a follow up to his 2019 Netflix special, Comin' In Hot. Koy has already had four highly rated and successful stand-up specials on Comedy Central and Netflix. In June 2020, the comedian released his first variety special, Jo Koy: In His Elements on Netflix in which Koy brings the laughs and beats to Manila, spotlighting local culture in a one-of-a-kind show featuring Filipino-American comedians, DJs and B-boys.
In 2021, Koy released his first autobiography, Mixed Plate: Chronicles of an All-American Combo with Harper Collins Publishers to raved reviews. In this funny and moving memoir, Koy uncovers the stories behind his stand-up: the conflict, the drama and the laughter as he struggles to find his place in the entertainment industry, his home and around the world.
In 2019, Jo Koy reached #1 on the Billboard Charts for his stand-up comedy album, Live From Seattle, and in 2018, he was given the prestigious "Stand-Up Comedian Of The Year" award at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal.

I’ve seen many great comedians, lots of big names, and they’ve all done great, but Jo Koy had me laughing so hard I couldn’t breathe! His opening acts were good. There were three other comedians who opened. First guy was decent, second (King Bach) was really good and did a SPOT ON Denzel Washington impression. And the third guy was really good too. The only negative thing I could say about the night was that the show started a few minutes late. It was scheduled to start at 8:00pm, and the first guy didn’t come out til about 8:15-8:20. Not a big deal. But other than that, I had no complaints. It was a great show. Jo Koy started off with 44 minutes STRAIGHT of comedy that had me crying, I was laughing so hard. He interacted with the audience, and even tossed out some Jo Koy swag. It was great. After the show, they brought out some t-shirt cannons and gave away more swag. If you have a chance to catch Jo Koy, don’t miss him! (PS- some of his stuff is for mature audiences, so prolly don’t bring the kids)

Joe Koy is a kick in the ass !! my wife and I went there, not knowing what to expect and the next day our stomach and face were hurting from laughing so much and so hard !! Most of the time you’re laughing so hard tears are rolling down your face!! we saw him at Save Mart Center in Fresno. Plan your arrival time no later than 1 hour before show start because event traffic is chaos !! Big place. It’s worth to pay extra for close parking. Going inside is a little tricky. If your wife has a purse bigger than your wallet, leave it at home. security is pretty tight but it is for everybody’s safety. trying to get to the floor level was quite the challenge as there was no map to show you how to get there. Most of the corridors and entryways had big sign, saying no floor access. A couple of the attendants said to take elevators, but the elevator attendant said no take the stair.. OK, which stair but nobody knew ! Then we finally found a staircase to take us straight to the floor. The attendant at the floor was very helpful and clear markings on the floors were helpful as well. The seating was all folding chairs with very thick pads to sit on. That was fine for the butt but after an hour and a half of sitting, you began to feel it. Plenty of concessions on all the floors and pathways. We didn’t bother cause I knew it would be extreme pricing. I’m not gonna pay 10 bucks for bottled water or 15 for a tall can of beer. Overall, the whole experience was fantastic but we will be better prepared next time.

by Josh on 4/2/24Save Mart Center - FresnoWe went to Jo Koy in Fresno CA and had a great time. Opening acts were funny, DJ Turbulence rocked and Jo Koy was halarious. There were no taboo subjects, Jo Koy humor had no bounds. If you watched his comedy specials, the live act was about twice a long. Very funny and worth the price of admission!

by Jo Koy is hilarious on 4/2/24Save Mart Center - FresnoJo Koy is totally hilarious. He really puts on a great show. You can tell he is very sincere comedian and he hasn't let fame go to his head. His opening acts were awesome as well. However I am not a fan of the Savemart center and all their traffic getting out. They needed more help from the city to facilitate or staff to help. It was unbelievable.
