About

Playing all the hits including Tuesday's Gone, Sweet Home Alabama, Gimme Three Steps, Travelin' Man, That Smell, Simple Man, Free Bird, Don't Ask Me No Questions, I Know A Little, Whiskey Rock-A-Roller, What's Your Name and much more!

Legendary Former Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer Artimus Pyle is all about the music.  When he put together "The Artimus Pyle Band",  Artimus  wanted the band to be "a proper representation of the true Skynyrd spirit", one that would do justice to those incredible songs that Ronnie Van Zant wrote and sang with such conviction. The truth is- APB has done just that.  With impeccable timing, soaring guitars, and gut wrenching vocals- The Artimus Pyle Band is a true and proper tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd, the band that has been the soundtrack to so many lives. Artimus represents an important part of the incredible rollercoaster history of America's greatest band, playing drums during their pinnacle years of 1974-1977 and then again for the Tribute tour of 1991.  APB is sure to be the highlight of any event, performing their all Skynyrd show with maximum impact.

Everything I expected; played all of Skynyrd's favorite without a lot of chatter. Band was great & Artimus was very humble @ the end in thanking the fans & NJ for having them. They closed with Free Bird.Good show ! exactly what was expected. If you're a fan of Southern rock,I highly recommend this show.

    Lynyrd Skynyrd music lives!!!

by Anonymous on 7/15/17Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

The Artimus Pyle Band was fantastic. The music I grew up with brought back memories of the 70's. They band did a great job reminiscing those good old times when the Original Lynyrd Skynyrd group was around.

The set was amazing. Audience was good. I could not have asked for better seats. Meeting the band was wonderful. Been a follower of Artimus since October 1977. Go see them when ever you get a chance. You will not be dissappointed!

The Artimus Pyle Band brought the goods! Classic Skynyrd sound was to be found all night long. Scott Raines and Jerry Lyda on Guitars were Stellar. Brad Durden on Vocals\ keyboards along with Tony Black on Bass were awesome. Artimus still has it for those who question, for any Southern Rock and Roll fan this is a gig not to miss, you will not be disappointed!
