This was an excellent venue. We took an uBer in and out, and there was a designated spot for that, which was nice. The grounds were nice, the vendors were plenty which helped make the lines shorter. We were able to get up close to several golfers on several different holes. Had a great time!
Nice golf course, well organized. A bit more seating options would have been fine though
Got to see all the top players. All the staff at the tournament are very friendly.
My son and I went to the event on Saturday and Bay Hill golf course was in superb condition. It was my sons intention to follow Tiger Woods for the day. We started out watching Tiger on the practice range and had a real close view. Then we followed him for the first nine holes and it was insane because of the crowds. Even though we were in great positions to see him hit, invariably a camera man felt the same way and blocked our view . After 13 holes we decided to watch Rory and Stenson. Overall, it was a great day seeing the pros and their remarkable ability to play a difficult game.

Having to pick up parking pass at will call was a bummer. Not being able to print out the pass was nerve racking especially coming from out of town. Didnt know what to expect and added about 30 min to our drive time. The course and the players were awesome but the concessions could use some improvement. Other than that, we had a great time.
The weather, tournament field, course and especially the Wine on 9 were all excellent. The tournament was overwhelmed, however. Very long concession lines for cold food. It took way too long (1 1/2 hrs) to sit thru traffic on a Friday to park on the course. C entrance had no one directing traffic which led to much confusion, especially for the older drivers. PGA tournaments have gotten increasingly popular and the “Tiger Effect” has caused serious growing pains if you want to attend.
WE ARE ALREADY PLANNING ON NEXT YEAR.....OUR 5TH TIME TO BAY HILL HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. THIS YEAR THE WEATHER COOPERATED AND WAS GREAT!
Arnold Palmer's Tournament was fantastic, there was a buzz in the atmosphere!!!
If you ever get the chance to go to this golf tournament in Orlando, you must go! This is one of the best run tournaments there is, the venue is gorgeous, the field of players is top notch, and everything is first class, just like Mr. Palmer.
A First class event. Incredible how much the Orlando Area owes to Arnold Palmer and this tournament. What a thrill to be there during the final round as crowds clamored to get a view of the TIger(we were at least 90 deep). The big cat made a tremendous charge up the leaderboard until Rory Mcilroy rattled off 5 birdies in 6 holes! Amazing to see it in person to see the variety of styles playing this golf course. The short knockers(Brian Gay, Graeme McDowell), the sneaky long (Rickie Fowler/Patrick Reed), and the big bombers(Bubba/Jason/TIger) they all made the cut and were tremendous to watch how each style played the course.. Once again we thoroughly enjoyed the "Arnie Open". But we still miss Arnie. It was a cold early morning but warmed up nicely. We parked in lot "C" We ordered tickets in December and received them in January. But no parking tickets were included with the event tickets. For that reason I called and found out that the parking tickets would be sent separately. As we approached time to leave for Florida on March 5 the parking pass had still not arrived. As we left the next day we checked the mail box one last time. And there they were by PRIORITY MAIL! If many tickets were sent that way it would have been a large unnecessary cost to Ticketmaster or some entity. Need a better system in the future.
As always such an incredible golfing venue with the Best players in the world putting on a magnificent performance. With Tiger back in the mix, and almost like the Tiger of old, the stage of a near perfect golf course conditioned Bay Hil, perfect weather and the tens of thousands of golf fans what could any one ask for better.
Atmosphere was fantastic a great day out and reasonably priced can’t believe how close you get to the players
Arnold Palmer's tractor was at Bay Hill for the Arnold Palmer Invitational, but the equipment used to keep the course in pristine shape this past weekend is far more modern. As was the field with young guns, like Dechambeau and McIlroy, fighting the maturity and patience of Henrick Stenson and Tiger Woods. Rory McIlroy dominated at the last with a string of 5 birdies to take the trophy. Due to the Tiger effect, the crowds were huge, the volunteers numbered over 1400 and were so nice, and the tournament hosted a great field of the top in golf rankings and many up and comers from across the globe. Orlando's Bay Hill is a great place to spend a day or two or a week in March. I was lucky enough to attend for the weekend and enjoyed the golf fans, food, weather, and the best in the world put on a show. It is always a great time!
We attended the Arnold Palmer Bay Hill Invitation on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The event was extremely well organized (parking well marked, under a minute at Security to enter the event, plenty of concessions, etc.). We had club passes, which was great, as we were able to have a sit-down lunch in the club. The fans were all very courteous and respectful to each other and to the players. We could not have enjoyed it more. In fact, several friends who I told of our experience, want to attend with us in 2019.
Very well run event with excellent on line instructions. This year was particularly special due to the return of Tiger Woods and so many OUTSTANDING PGA Golfers. one drawback, limited menu for regulars, not holding PREMIUM tickets. Early birds found excellent on site parking . Weather, cool but NO rain. On site map a bit confusing for first timers. Security was not as scrutinizing as I would have liked as I saw at least 8 to 10 standard. full back packs. ALL IN ALL excellent
There's something charming about Bay Hill. I guess that's no surprise. We had an awesome day. Will call was simple. Parking was easy and the event couldn't have been any better. I would recommend going to anyone who loves the game of golf and especially Arnold Palmer.
