Great Sport on a great course

by Florian on 3/6/23Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club & Lodge - Orlando

It was our first time visiting a golf tournament in the USA. Everything was very well organized so it was easy for us to find everything. We visited on Friday and Saturday. There were many spots on the course to relax and get something to drink. We also appreciated the Option to rent a chair on saturday so we could seat ourselves in the shadow. At last i would like to mention the very friendly Volunteers who made a great Job on all the days.

Great once I got to the course!

    by J. K. on 3/5/23Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club & Lodge - Orlando

I parked at Universal because all on-site parking was sold out. When getting on the bus to the course there was an argument between the person loading the bus and the bus driver about how many seats were available. Once that was settled and the bus was fully loaded, we were told that the bus had a flat tire so we needed to move to another bus. When we were finally ready to leave, it became apparent that the bus driver did not know the directions to the course. Several of us helped direct her to the course using our phone navigation but then she did not know where to drop us off. All told, it took over 90 minutes so we missed the early tee times that we were hoping to see. The course experience was excellent. Great facilities, good food, and plenty of viewing stands.

    Best. Golf day. Ever.

    by K. R. on 3/3/23Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club & Lodge - Orlando

We are avid fans and from the moment we arrived and were welcomed by the well organized volunteers our pleasure began. We were able to observe close up our favourite players on the practice green, chipping area, and ultimately on the course. We walked all 18 holes and were able to see the focus and dedication of the pro players. They aren't just talented and lucky, they work hard! We will definitely plan a future vacation to take in the practice day again.

    Parking for the tournament

    by JRK,USMC on 3/2/23

We arrived at gate A just before 11 am and was told we had to use general parking at Universal, approximately 1 1/2 miles from there. We were given bad directions and also told to follow the signs. We left there and drove for approximately 20 minutes then decided to go back to the gate to ask again. We we got there, we were told that as a veteran, we could go to parking lot #10 and park. We drove to parking lot 10 and when we got there, we were told we can't park there without parking pass, PGA rules. We left there and got near Universal and started asking everyone for directions and finally found where we needed to go. We finally got to the tournament at 2:35 pm. Worst day. I've had at a tournament ever. I've been to this tournament 4-5 times, all four majors, and 20 other pga events.

    Barely enough communications

by Many Moto on 3/8/22Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club & Lodge - Orlando

I go to this event every year, usually i drive and park in there, this time I was never informed about the parking in different location or that I need a golden ticket to park. I did look for tickets online but did not say anything about the parking issue. Organization inside was fine but could be better.

We love going to the API every year. It’s well run and Bay Hill is a beast — especially this year.

A great time at Arnie’s place!

by Dave from VT on 3/11/20Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club & Lodge - Orlando

Sunday at any PGA Tour event is exciting, but even more so at The Kong’s tournament! Course was gorgeous, staff and tournament set-up were great, and the golf was world-class. Concessions were reasonable and plentiful. Great experience!

    Up close with the Golfers!

by KakiT on 3/26/18Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club & Lodge - Orlando

This was an excellent venue. We took an uBer in and out, and there was a designated spot for that, which was nice. The grounds were nice, the vendors were plenty which helped make the lines shorter. We were able to get up close to several golfers on several different holes. Had a great time!

    Tiger at Bay Hill

    by Capecod43 on 3/23/18Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club & Lodge - Orlando

My son and I went to the event on Saturday and Bay Hill golf course was in superb condition. It was my sons intention to follow Tiger Woods for the day. We started out watching Tiger on the practice range and had a real close view. Then we followed him for the first nine holes and it was insane because of the crowds. Even though we were in great positions to see him hit, invariably a camera man felt the same way and blocked our view . After 13 holes we decided to watch Rory and Stenson. Overall, it was a great day seeing the pros and their remarkable ability to play a difficult game.
