  • Friday was terrible, Sunday was great

by Kd on 3/12/25Bay Hill Club & Lodge - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

Ticket Master never offered us Parking for Friday and my fiancé is handicapped! We spent most of the day trying to find parking before going to Universal. It was a waste of $616.00! (Wine and Fine on Nine) We went on Friday and it was great! We parked at Universal and the ADA cart took us to Palmer Patio! It was great!

  • Good tournament but appalling toilet facilities.

by Thekevinf on 3/11/25Bay Hill Club & Lodge - OrlandoRating: 3 out of 5

Great tournament, really nice course but absolutely appalling bathroom/toilet facilities. I really do not expect to have to be using unclean portaloos at an event of this standing. No soap or antiseptic gel was available on both days I attended in the toilets I used and quite frankly it will put me off attending in the future. For the amount of money this event generates it smacks of pure greed by the organisers. They need to have a look at the way The Players tournament is run and the facilities available there and invest some money in looking after the fans.

During our experience attending the Arnold Palmer Invitational this past weekend, what we were most impressed with was the choreographed system of available parking at Universal Studios followed by a shuttle bus to the venue. It was a seamless and convenient process aboard clean tour busses that dropped guests RIGHT at the 18th hole and merchandise tent-absolutely NO extended walking needed to enter the course. We were also impressed with the availability of complimentary sunscreen dispensers and cooling towels sponsored by the local health care system. While we were only able to walk a small portion of the course, the numerous concession stands we encountered all served the similar options of burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, brisket tacos and chips (all were good), it would have been nice to have had a better variety of food tents and vegetarian and/or healthy options as well. There was an abundance of helpful volunteers at any given time who made navigating the course easy. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

  • Fantastic Day at the Arnold Palmer Invitational

by Bay Hill Holland on 3/10/24Bay Hill Club & Lodge - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

Wow. I returned to the Arnold Palmer Invitational Golf Tournament after 6 years away. What a special event. The course was magnificent and the tournament has so many concession stands you are always close to a drink or a meal. Lots of public stands to view from. Great viewing locations along each hole. Things I learned: Food is much pricier than in the past. I wish I had packed a few sandwiches and Arnold Palmer Iced Teas. Could have saved $40-$50. Parking at Universal. Poor job by Universal. No special help for the extra 20k cars getting in. Mixed with normal Thursday traffic. Lost 30 minutes waiting in line just to park. Lousy job Universal!! The Mastercard Booth at the driving range was awesome. I should have budgeted an hour there instead of just 20 minutes. Free to Mastercard customers. Finally hats off to Ticketmaster. I downloaded the app for first time. 5 star app. Everything I needed plus helpful emails about the event. Can’t wait for next year.

  • Room 4 Improvement

Always enjoy attending the API. Having met and followed Arnie, I wish to honor his many achievements both on and off the course. He was first class! I chose to attend the API Tuesday practice round as it is not congested and one can enjoy an up close experience with the players. This year’s experience met my expectations. The volunteers were extremely helpful and the players were very gracious with the fans! Hospitality concessions was below average and Arnie would not be pleased, as anything associated with his name was first class. Concession stands were fully staffed with helpful volunteers who could only offer apologies why they didn’t have items listed on the menu! In addition the Master Card pavilion was roped off and not accessible. I hope to attend the A.P.I. next year with hopes that these concerns will be addressed to insure that Arnie’s First Class fan experience is experienced. 😀

  • Great time

I enjoyed the tournament, being able to experience the players close up was wonderful. Watching them putt, chip and hit their irons was amazing. Can’t wait until next year.
