EDM fans have spoken, and veteran Dutch DJ Armin Van Buuren is their king. As one of the most popular trance DJs in the world, Van Buuren has topped DJ Magazine's fan poll a record five times, virtually dominating dance music with his unprecedented run at the top of the list from 2007-2010. Following the 2013 release of his fifth album Intense, Van Buuren is once again entrancing fans around the world with his prismatic live shows on the 2014 Armen Only: Intense tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Leiden, Netherlands, Armin Van Buuren began DJing while at university, eventually putting his law degree on hold to pursue music full time. He made his first UK chart appearance at just 19 with "Blue Fear," climbing the charts again several years later with "Communication." By 2001, Van Buuren's marathon sets had earned him a spot on DJ Magazine's Top-100 list, setting the stage for the launch of his hugely popular State of Trance radio show. While his skills as a producer were highlighted on his 2003 full-length debut 76, it was 2008's Imagine that really broke the mold โ the album peaked at No. 1 in the Netherlands, a first for a dance music artist in Dutch music history.

Great music, great concert

The opening act, Esteva, played for 2 hours and he was great. I might even say better than Armin Van Buuren. There was barely any break between the two and Armin came on and played for another 2 hours. His music was good. He spent more time with his hands in the air celebrating than actually DJ'ing and the songs were pretty short. But overall it was a great time. Would definitely go again.

Some fans need to be friendly when I saw people are coming thru front stage or leaving the stage bec I saw two people wanted to fight Against people were trying to get up front or leaving and I was shocked. I walked little further back and didnโt want to be in the middle of the fight. I thought This place was people friendly and being teamwork.

I understand that the number of people inside causes the temps to increase but it seems like there isn't enough air conditioning to keep it bearable. Great show. Bad venue

Crazy lines to enter, only 3 metal detectors caused a line to wrap around the block. Drink lines were just as bad and the coat check was a joke too.

Armin van Buuren did not disappoint at all in playing his 3 hour set(yes it was that long!!!) his stage presents, visuals, and lighting made every second enjoyable. To be honest out of all the genres and subgenres of edm, trance is my least favorite. However, in my opinion it was my favorite event at Bill Graham yet.
